I'm with Harvey on this one. Donna is trying to convince a man who is a son of a cheating mother to get into a serious relationship with a woman who herself cheated on her fiance? No way, both your head and gut will agree to never go in on that.
Not to mention cheaters never change. Donna was way off with that advice.
yup i’d say idk what tf she was thinking..but i know better, i figure she either cheated in the past or knew secretly if she cheated with harvey he’d hold it against her..she legit didn’t want him to hold that women’s actions against her..punish that women for her actions
Thank you. Regardless of who his mom was, he's 1001% correct.
@@Squidlark So long as they got away with it, they don't.
I agree with Harvey
I don't like how Donna is trying to defend her. Cheating is ok as long as you love the one who cheats on your partner with?
Harvey is right, someone who did that shouldn't be trusted.
Harvey was such a successful mentor that Mike started speaking like him.....!
Jessica's knees were practically buckling when Mike brought up defeating her. You could see it all over her body language, she was heated because Mike challenged her pride. The acting is so top notch on this show.
We're watching this more than 10 years after airing, and the acting/writing stand the test of time!
Mike fell for the Bluff here, there was no way Jessica could expose him without losing her company.
Love the look of confusion on Harvey's face everytime someone says it out loud that so and so woman loves him. It's as if he's celebrating from inside but just gotta be chill lest someone finds out.
Suits is keeping me sane during this quarantine! Quaran-binge!
Same
Rest assured Harvey will NEVER want anything to do with Scottie. I wouldn't either.
If you think Darvey is complicated--meet Dana Scott.
Donna is so wrong here. ”if a woman will cheat on someone else she’ll cheat on you” exactly what happened to his father.
So technically does that mean that Donna will cheat on Harvey as she was still with Thomas when they got together?
Harvey thinks that way not Donna!!
Watch the clip again
fun fact: this is a fictitious television show
@@adityamathur6938 yeah because things that happen in tv shows never happen in real life
Legit. How you get them is how you lose him.
1:18 that's exactly why it's a problem because if was wrong and she still did it anyway she should have left rather than cheated. Someone hearing this will just be more afraid because they'll worry that if the other person is upset with them or thinks they've fallen out of love they will cheat on them
You have to be with someone who knows it's wrong to cheat not just someone who says they won't cheat you on because they love you
And Harvey had it perfect, she made him wrong someone else when he didn't even know it it wasn't just about being cheated on
One thing I noticed throughout the series and happened between various characters is strongarming to get their own ways, just like Jessica is doing to mike in this scene threatening to turn him in and Louis blackmailing Jessica to make him a name partner and yet in most of the series they are portrayed to care about eachother and have eachother's backs.
Mic's only weakness
His lie
He can be the best lawyer in the world unless his enemy knows his secret.
Jessica Pearson black suits made her POWERFUL. STRONG.
Harvey definitely dressed like a lawyer and not a banker
Man are from mars ...women are fron Venus...Harvey had no idea he had already won Donna's heart this early
And then om pretty sure Harvey gives mike a lektor about loyalty
If she didn't love her fiance then why was she about to marry him...?
She was settling
@@oyindas5832 from a woman's perspective I guess it does make sense, but it also tells you something about female nature..
@@TopNotch770 the fact that women feel the need to settle is due to the fact that men are never capable of having commitments to the women they're with. And that says alot about Male nature.
@@zxa3117 in my experience it was always men who were the hopeless romantics, not women
@@TopNotch770 then your experience was one of a kind.
Donna "Cheaters never cheat on the people they cheated with"
Jessica "I hired you despite you not being a qualified lawyer and will blackmail you as my own employee when I don't get my way"
I get these characters are far better than this but jeez this clip destroys them both.
Donna never said that, though. She said that *one* cheater, Scottie, would never cheat on a man she actually loves, i.e. Harvey.
Donna is 100% wrong once a cheater, always a cheater.
facts!! i guess she’s on some girl power..power-trip cuz it’s legit that simple.. once the trust is gone what kind of hope is there for a healthy relationship?! huh
This clip reminded me of Veronica in Cocktail
I have to go watch this episode again
jessica shows the real boss character..loved her...
Since this Quarintine started all I'm watching is suits
Me working for Jessica Pearson will be GREAT! 🌺🖤
Is it about you? No
Then it doesn't matter.
I wish I had an objective and straight forward friend like Donna♥️ you don't find such excellent people.
They don't exist in real world...
@@rajeevshrivastava4488 actually they do. But Donna may be objective but she's definitely not right. A relationship isn't simple and Harvey never let Zoe go.
donna was biased af what are you talking about she saw things one way her way..an tried to simplify things an impose that view on harvey based on her narrative and used her intimate knowledge of his personal life to do so cuz..”he’s a man an if a relationship doesn’t work out it’s because its all his fault” lol an the hill she choose to stand on is ….a disloyal treacherous cheater Wow just wow the audacity.
@@manticfello3261 not a word, no gesture to show that he wanted to stay. So he practically let her go
@@simone3633 he didn’t let her go
"How am I gonna trust someone, who made me, a man who did that???"
Noted.
Scottie🤐
I would love to understand this show but i dont unfortunately
Whitch episode is this?
Says Season 2, Episode 16 in the description.
harvey's points are valid tho
Now that I think about it, Harvey (Gabriel Macht) 657 would make a great Christian Grey, no??
Whatttttt😂😂😂😂
Whoa...!
Donna should shut off! Why agree to marriage and cheat fiance? this behavior is justified because she LOVES someone else, now the next day if is another someone else? you see it is LOVE, manipulation of a man to do harmful things against his better judgement, because she wants to get royally ( fill up the blank) is also LOVE. and he should FIGHT?? Its always one lie or another by the backstabbing woman!
exactly with ppl like that they can’t be trusted..cuz they move off emotion/“feelings” an it’s only an matter of time till they fly off the handle an do something disloyal.
scottie doesn't know
Harvey is like that cool guy
But got real issues
That's me... BUT am a girl
@@nailaoulfetzitouni5060 , two most meaningfull and valuable comments here.
Not trusting women who cheat on their fiancée is not an “issue”. It’s a normal human reaction
2:07 to 2:13 the part I hate the most
Someone who's willing to cheat/affair while keeping both partners unaware of it is really not to be trusted right off the bat, its something that has to be earned on a very slow and consistent path with lots of off ramps for if something isn't going right.
The way Donna has intrusively impregnated herself into Harvey's personal and professional life; She has no concept of boundaries with Harvey. She doesn't behave like a secretary; She acts like Harvey's puppeteer. So, no woman really had a chance with Harvey cos no woman can put up with that.
I Absolutely agree with what you are saying. 100%
Harvey wants Donna to be as intrusive as she can be. He cant literally live without her. It's also his fault. He calls her at 6am about his problems or some celebration even if he's dating another woman.
She became obnoxious dince s4
Interesting point. Guess it was different when she decided that she wanted him
That's exactly what Harvey wanted and needed though?
BOOM!
Ah, but can a guy back down in that case?
Donna is completely wrong here.
Don't care what anyone says, but Harvey + Scottie > Harvey + Donna.
True but I wanted Harvey+Samantha
@@xaviersharma707 seriously ? I mean it s harvey as a woman not that Much complementarity
@@Le_MarcoPolo she was hot tho
@@xaviersharma707 for me not as scottie
Noooo DARVEY is the best chemistry!
There are two ways to look at this. One is the obvious "once a cheater, always a cheater - therefore I wont get romantically involved" and the other is ... "ok so shes a cheating pos but that doesnt mean she cant do her work"
I’m with Harvey- once a cheater, always a cheater
Mike would destroy Jessica in court
I like women in power. Like Jessica Person tho, dont get me wrong. If shes a purple had overwight landwhale, then not.
This is why I love Donna, she loves Harvey and still fights for his ex Scottie, what an amazing woman
I've never liked Jessica she always loses control over simple situations, a great lawyer like her would pass a small moment and keep the homework for the big talks when they really matter
This was big stakes, it was about the future of the firm.
Paula should have been the one for Harvey lol
SO true. She was the most mentally healthy.
I'm sorry, but Donna is completely in the wrong. You should NEVER, EVER date someone who cheated with you. Because whether they WILL cheat on you or not, that nagging will NEVER go away, and considering Harvey's own mother cheated, that nagging is ten times as bad.
First!
Che fine hanno fatto questi attori ??????
woman cheating logic 101
Another reason why Donna is the worst character on the show
I don't get why people like donna ... I always wished harvey and Scottie or harvey and dr.paula would be the endgame
Harvey and Scottie. On all levels, especially professionally.
