- After living in denial, a lawyer explains to his therapist the panic attack he had after his secretary refused to return.

I liked Donna because she found the strength to leave Harvey. Their relationship became unhealthy. They was too much dependent on each other.

He literally told her that he loved her and she left him because of it lol. Let’s not forget that Donna was the one that told Harvey they couldn’t be in a relationship in the first place if they started working together in that flash back. Everyone in the show talks about how cold hearted Harvey is, but the second he shows his weakness to Donna she leaves him. Lmao let also not forget that she was his secretary, there’s no dependency on any of it a secretaries job is do whatever and whenever there boss asks them to do something.

I respect how some people are angry at Donna's character. In my opinion, her mistaken actions (jeopardizing legal processes, acting impulsively, etc) were so human and relatable tho. Mistakes? For sure, no doubt about it! But mistakes so many people could make out of wanting love. And we all want love. Sometimes we don't realize JUST how much until we're in the middle of a storm. That's what makes amazing characters, I think ❤
Woman was so freaking important (and these men are so freaking disfunctional) that she merely stop doing stuff for them gave them panic attacks

Exactly he officially became my favorite character because he is so relatable to us compared to the other characters who are exceptional in a fictional way that isn’t how normally people are

I think this is when I started to dislike Donna, she always made everything about herself, even when Harvey was trying to move on she would always add herself into the conversation
Our lives are about ourselves. Donna did what was best for her at that moment. She may have not gotten a panic attack but I'm guessing she was having a hard time and felt that this decision was necessary.

Harvey treats her terribly. He plays with her heart, with her dignity, humiliates her, treats her with contempt, aggression as an enemy or as a stranger.
I think it was the best thing for Donna to walk away from him.

Complete fiction. Top tier lawyers (graduated from IVY league, make 300k+ a year, etc) benefit from a great assistant but their jobs don’t depend on them. We are all replaceable. They’re not.

She didn’t obey Louis at all when she worked as his secretary, she kissed Harvey when he was in a beautiful relationship with that therapist and she is also the reason why robert zane lost his license. I truly hate her the most out of all characters. Even more than Daniel Hardman.
Harvey's therapist had no business getting into a relationship with him in the first place.

Donna should have been fired since season1. She was a waste of time, money and energy. Till the end becoming a waste of professionalism and waste of waste of the whole firm. She and Louis.
Didn't you see Harvey couldn't function without Donna even for a day and he ended up having an anxiety attack and visited a shrink. Behind every successful senior partner, there is an efficient secretary. Why do you think they have the role of a secretary ?

@@ciuciobelo Yeah you are partially right. She was more interfering but then she shared that kinda relationship with Harvey, Louis , Racheal. They were more like friends or family, as they often called themselves. We are family and we have each other's back etc etc. It is a TV serial and hence it's not a typical secretary boss relationship, but that's what makes the show interesting.
All of them should have been fired from season 1. The best part is Donna broke the law less than every other character in the show.
