I agree and it's good to read your positive comment rather than people moaning about Ivo not being funny. It's an interview, not stand-up. I saw him Live in 2016 when he was Josh Widdecombe's Support. He was superb x

Very interesting analysis of comedy here. Don't understand the critics in the comment section. It wasn't supposed to be comedy, it was about comedy

Just watched this after seeing Ivo on 'House of Games'. What a lovely man, and very self-deprecating, even though he's quite obviously funny in all his bones. Great insights into how comedians work and think.

Excellent interview Krishnan. I find you very funny Ivo, but you come across as a thoroughly good egg here. I can well believe your a good friend. Pompose you are not.

He went to Eaton and Oxford. Wasn't he supposed to become a Conservative member of Parliament?

This guy seems like the least funny person to be a comedian

That fits, because the interviewer is one of the most insufferable clowns ever to appear on British news.

@@Markusctfldl The only clown here is you, who has come to make this insightful comment on the page of someone they don't like. What a waste of your time.

Some people write funny material but aren't necessarily funny in interview, like perhaps Rowen Atkinson
