@@dash-x I’m not a lawyer, but I have held jobs that required an NDA. I also did not bring the NDA to a Lawyer to review. Final semi relevant background point, I have taken a few legal courses during my college career, I am by no means an expert or an authority on anything legal, I’m barely even a layman honestly. However, the language in the NDA’s I signed for work made it clear that I would be prohibited from disclosing details of what I saw I at work. This wasn’t a job that was in any kind of “industry”. Nor was it a job where competitive entities were battling out for market share, or even had trade secrets of any kind. Not an interest in commercial supremacy, or even a need for protecting intellectual property or whatever. It was about privacy for the party I was employed by. In no uncertain terms, it was made clear that I could face (financial) punitive measures if I publicly disclosed information obtained during the execution of my duties at work. In addition to that, the legal threshold, at least to my understanding, to be able to prove signing an NDA “under duress“ while actively seeking NEW employment would be extremely difficult. If you were already employed, and you witnessed, learned of or became aware of a situation, an environment, an incident ect. and were THEN made to sign a NDA, after the fact, AND said NDA also made the conditions retro active, then you have a POSSIBLE case for signing under duress. You do not have a case, at least in nearly any situation I can conceive of, where you are seeking new employment and the employer request you to agree to a NDA as a condition for employment. If that were the case NDA’s would simply be illegal. You do not have to take the job at the end of the day. That said, KEEPING your current job, especially if a negative situation occurred, you were a first hand witness or could prove your knowledge of it or whatever and they FORCED you to sign a NDA under threat of termination from your current position would almost certainly meet the threshold for “signing under duress.” ONLY if you could PROVE threat. Which is harder than you would think. Once again, not a lawyer, not an expert, did not consult a lawyer about this as I never bore witness to anything that would make me consider breaking my NDA, and lastly, I freely admit I am basically a high functioning neanderthal, so this is only my opinion and not gospel. I believe if Bapa had the foresight to make employees sign an NDA, Margg would not be speaking as freely, loudly and honestly as he is without the very real possibility of serious consequences. However, we all know Brendan is incapable of perceiving his actions needing a NDA and incapable of thinking that far ahead. He can’t even calculate how to “wog to his trugg” without the assistance of a female who likely weigh’s roughly 40% of his weight.

Other than a cut that my agent receives for exploiting my works, I do all the lyrics, singing, instrumentation, producing, recording, and post production (Mixing and Mastering)...Doing this all myself saves me a TON of money and time but also gives me full freedom on the production. I can set a really good schedule for my music and I don t need to wait for someone or delay a project just because the mixing engineer is taking longer than usual. Its all me B!

Brendan acts exactly how my narcissistic dad does. The mere idea that someone might know more than them about something to the point they can offer them advice is incomprehensible and threatens their grandiose self-image. As a result they dont learn anything as they go through life because they're too insecure to accept there's things they dont know. What you're left with is a person who's as ignorant as they are arrogant with nothing to offer because they're completely empty inside.

But to be fair, I picture Mark as one of those guys that went to Hollywood looking to make it anyway that he could. He almost has that female way of confrontation. Margg gets it!!! This is exactly what I do with my songwriting. Other than a cut that my agent receives for exploiting my works, I do all the lyrics, singing, instrumentation, producing, recording, and post production (Mixing and Mastering)...Doing this all myself saves me a TON of money and time but also gives me full freedom on the production. I can set a really good schedule for my music and I don t need to wait for someone or delay a project just because the mixing engineer is taking longer than usual. Its all me B!
