My question is, I’ve running a 1500 watt amp (more like 600 each sub) 2 12s one gothic series and one pioneer, but the amp isn’t able to push enough, I just need to know if this thing will have more bass output than just a normal set up (amp, sub, wires)

Well that's more of an issue of model than brand. They're pretty comparable brands across the board but I agree. Pioneer has had their share of great subs. They were really killing it in the 90s when poly & plastics were first being used for subs.
Yeah, you basically set the knob set to the sound stream to where you want the bass to be and then you use the knob that comes with the amp to control the amount of bass you want
@@BowtieWhipzIG The knob comes with the unit he was demonstrating. Also, for every day listening there really is no need for a bass knob. That knob is for us BASS HEADS that have systems that are crazy nuts & mainly turn it up for SPL. It doesn't add any volume. The knob is just a potentiometer that decreases the volume of that amp or series of amps.
im wondering what the wide and sweep adjustments do. i read the manual but I hear and feel zero difference when I adjust them. Do you know anything about them? OH just peeped the post date 3 years ago. You are on to bigger and better sounding equipment bu now. Ill just leave ut here anyway in case you do know or someone else does. Have a Great Day

Sweep will be the hz you want to reconstruct the other knob will be narrow or wide, narrow will only effect the hz you chose on sweep but if you have it all the way to wide the sweep will effect the hz you chose and other hz
@@dabbking01l14 Very good explanation. The only thing I'd add is, Once you pick the frequency you want to target imagine the other setting like a hill. Narrow will shoot the signal almost straight up @ that frequency & wide will get to that same level of boost but will also incrementally increase the other frequencies around it. Like going up a hill or stairs. I hope this helped someone.
I’ve been trying to figure out what the purpose for the Soundstream Bass Reconstruction device is for. And from what I’ve gathered, this device is similar to a pre amp EQ. Only thing with a preamp EQ is you have better bass control adjustments. So, therefore, this product is a no-sell for me.
Well it is not "like" an EQ. There are different types of EQs & this is a parametric EQ + it can increase signal voltage to help keep out signal noise & increase dynamic range.
@Sawvligdhauu I'm not sure you know enough about EQs in general, there are several types, this is parametric equalizer. You can set the "Q" factor, meaning you have way more control. Parametric equalizers are more complex, but when you figure out how to use them, they are the best...

Does the bass knob work with any amp?
Yes, the knob is controlling the soundstream unit so any amp down steam will be affected therefore not needing their own knob.👍🏼
