We were racing 7S trucks, and my son was facinated with a "kid" beating all the old guys, Manny, Ivan, of course it was Robbie (30 years ago).

It didn't look a fast as some of the UTES racing today. I was expecting RG driving a familiar car in a familiar environment to have at least one or two runs at the cars limit. Looked like it has much more than what he is showing.
Pretty darn impressive though that the bulk of the car is designed and built in house.
Still your biggest fan RG. From '85 riverside to xr7 cougars at Daytona, NASCAR, Indy car and everything in between. Living the dream. Now seeing Max exhibit the same promise, if not more than Robby did at that age is mind blowing.
I often wonder if Bob Sr. ever knew how talented Max would turn out to be.

@@adamwithana8759 no idea but sometime this year I’m hoping. It’s best to watch the design presentations to hear about any news. Trust me it’s worth just waiting if you can. We have had a RZR XP Turbo S (all custom and supped up) and a YXZ and this will be beyond anything that is on the market today.

Car looks well incredibly well balanced and nimble. Will only get better with fine tuning from extensive testing. These new cars will be "must haves" for performance minded buyers. All of the long days and nights by RG and Todd (and team) will pay off soon.

So cool to see this thing getting closer to production. Is it me or does it seem to sit pretty low in the travel of the front? Nothing spring rate can’t fix, but I noticed it on the el Diablo too. Maybe it’s just an illusion because of the shape of the bodywork

SpeedUTV "When you think your in trouble your not", never experienced this in other UTVs just saying, In other sideXsides when your in trouble your usually in BIG trouble.

Looking good, the back looked a little spring happy, especially on the hard hits. Maybe over sprung, or under damped on rebound?
It's a tuff deal tuning a 4 seater because you either have 200lb or maybe 800+ in riding with you. Changes the game a lot so find the middle ground I imagine is what they did for shake down. Folks will be able to valve, fluid, pressure, spring rates and bypass tune I would hope. Most who buy this will be the able type anyway.

Look at the cost of the accessories for this on the website . 1200+ to put a winch on it. 1200+ for the speed key .this thing is going to be 60k+ once you add all the things you would want. I'll stick to my x3 turbo rr

Yup by the sounds of it they will price themselves out of the market. Seems polaris and can am's top models are best of both worlds in performance to price ratio for the average enthusiast. They just need to get a bit more reliable and speed probably wont cut into their market too much. I just dont see how people can justify 32k for speeds base model when the competitions top models are that price.

They can not answer that right now. Not even to the people that ordered last year. You have to put a down payment now of $1500...And what ever accessories you put on it. The rest when its one month out you can finance . They are hoping to have them out around aug, but again no one knows as they are still tweaking and want a outstanding product ..I want one so bad but will be buying something else and maybe in a year or two I will look at buying one of these
Ridenow is taking preorders on west coast but they dont know when therr coming in check the big offroad companies around you and see who is taking preorders!!! They can put u in line with a deposit for 1 but cant do the financing for it into they get it in the showroom because applications only can be held for 30days!!! Trust i spend hrs and weeks trying to find out who can i finance to am dropping 10,000 down on 1 or 15,000 depending when it comes out for the base model 32k i dont need all the stuff the limited and rg models comes with because i want to custom it out to look way different then everybody elses
No need to buy aftermarket suspension ,a-arms or trailing arms. Shock upgrades

@@jakebarnier5188 Justin and crew know their stuff no doubt!, but so do Robbie and his team! As to other improvements there are always room for improvements I will give you that!.
That said the level of engineering that is going on with Speed UTV, from an off the showroom floor perspective it's really hard hard to deny the race ready superiority of these vehicles!
You really don't have to do much in the way of modding or changing of the Chassis, cage, seats, suspension, engine etc.
They have built what appears to be a bulletproof drivetrain but that needs to be proven by the buying public for that to really be a statement.
Everything brakes! I'm not saying that it is indestructible. It does however look like it out last all of the other offerings that are in the market right now.

These look much heavier and don't look as snappy out of the turns as the X3 & Razor. I feel this is one class bigger than the other SXS. I just cant see this thing completely submerged in the water.

The speed side by side cars when they get into real bad wheel hop they break both rear axles I've been seeing this a good bed on CZcams I think you need to add something to it like some kind of sway bars some kind of bars across the back like the Can-Am Polaris has something to stop that wheel hop because there's nothing there but the axles of and the two a arms

77” wide wow! With real off-road tires I better buy a bigger trailer or put all the money together and maybe go all in for a Raptor with 37’s? Or better yet a ZR2.
My Turbo S is 78.5” wide with 6+1 offset wheels and 32” tires.....not a big deal, fits in my toy hauler fine.

Very cool machines, and for sure the Speed UTV will become the top dog as for a production unit. ( better will be for the price! )
But there is one thing I can't get over and pulls what I am sure is a great machine ( when it finally start to be delivered! ) down quite a bit "in my opinion"
And that is, why in the world l Robby choice to fit a 2 cyl engine in it. They always sounds horrible. On the other hand the 3 cyl motors for exp being used in both the XX and YXZ sound great and even better when boosted.
For the price he is asking, it got be deliver the whole deal. And the motor is a huge part of how you end up enjoying the car.
All the can ams would of broke doing any of that.

Just look at class 1, trophy trucks, and stadium trucks tie rod end positions. They all wrong too? Robby didn't design and build artic cat.
Very Awesome, do not want to come off like the Safety Police, but for the next ride / testing session, might want to consider some helmets.
