- In this classic piece Sandra Achums plays the role of a very irrational grand daughter of Patience ozokwor: she is sent to the village to live with her grandmother to cater and take care of her but instead of that she becomes a living day nightmare for the old woman. Chioma (Sandra Achums) incidentally marries and soon realize how fast she has to make up with her grandmother before she dies.

Wow!!!..Saw this movie a few years ago; what a brilliant performance by Patience Ozokwor..An interesting character played by Nonso Diobi, as well ...Loved them both in "Good News"...This movie is definitely one of Nollywood's best..

This movie is truly a Nollywood classic. I have it on DVD & there is four parts to it... I cannot begin to tell you how much i love it, watched it about 4 times and cried everytime. My number one Nigerian actress Patience Ozokwor of course, did an excellent job (BRAVO)...she fits into any role she gets, what an actress! love her so, so much, and Sandra Achums plays her role very well.
Mama G nailed her role in this movie. Watched the movie about 10 yrs ago. Glad to watch it again. It was one of the best Nollywood movies of all time. Thanks for the upload!
this story is so current in theses times. many people don't respect anyone over 50 and their parents they treat even worst. I don't understand how ppl say they love God, yet hate their relations and neighbors??? ty for this movie. send many more Nolly LOVE

Mama G, what a woman. this movie is so sad.after nine minutes of watching this movie i have already shade tears and i can tell it is going to get worst and i hope i'm not going to cry my eyes out. it makes me appriciate my mother and love her even more even though we talks alot and jokes with each other.

Originality of this movie was everything back then and I cried so much watching it, infact I cried I most of the movies then because they were so real unlike what we have now, Sandra was one of my fave then

this was the first african movie besides chaka zulu that i watched it made me think about how people treat their elders and i would never allow anyone to treat their own grand parents like that where is the continuation where she has children i would love for my younger cousins and auntie to see this film because they treat people really bad and im tired of talking to them.

This movie really touched my heart. Since i was four years old i left Nigeria for the US and have been here. It was only two Christmas's ago that i saw my grandmother after 12 and a half years. She didn't even recognize me when she saw me again. Of the one month i spent in Nigeria i feel that i became very attached to her and it made me realize that of all the women in my life she is the one i value the MOST. I Love Her So Dearly. If ANYBODY EVER maltreated her, that ANUOFIA would never rest.

man i wish she didn't make it on time for that blessing she didn't deserve it at all.......what the fuck was she crying for at the end anyways...she only came because she wanted to bare a child not because she she felt bad and disgusted for how she treated her grandmother... abuse like that is real which anger me why was she even given the chance to get what she wants

I did enjoy the movie....though sometimes such endings promote superstition and insinuates that barren women have done something awful/unforgivable/otrocious/or in need of immediate forgiveness or pardon...when it is usually attributed to a anatomical flaw or other medical condition which at times can be corrected by means of different med. treatments.

The movie does not end here she later had kids but treated double the way she was treating her grandmother cause she only allowed them to have kids but did not truly forgive her so she later went to her grave and bagged her again

THIS IS REALLY SAD THIS MOVIE, IN AMERICA SUCH YOUNG LAN DY TREATING HER ELDER LIKE THAT ,SHE WOULD HAVE WENT TO PRISON, AND THE SON FOR LEAVING HIS DAUGHTER TO ABUSE HIS MOTHER , THIS YOUNG LADY , IS CRAZY AND DISGUSTING FOR TREATING HER ELDER THAT, ALL OF THE WOMEN IN THE VILLAGE SHOULD HAVE SHOWED MORE BACKBONE.
