- Ever wondered what being on the movie set of Fast & Furious: Tokyo Drift looked like? Probably something like this. Step inside the world of a real Underground Car Event in the heart of Tokyo.
In this video, Tokyo Motor Collection, Kawaii Fitment, and Clutch Kick Back host the most anticipated Underground Car Meet of the year. This event takes place at the UDX Underground Parking in Akihabara.

In India, they put some decals, ugly oversized alloys, cheap after market exhaust. Drive at 100 or 130kmph and they compare themselves with Shelby, Palisade, Escalade, Charger.

@@shinmojo I could only afford an ND2 here in Europe (at 45k euros, can you believe it?) now due to all of their ridiculous eco taxes, Japanese car makers are not even daring introducing their cars anymore here because people will not buy them (way too expensive with the taxes), and the rate of older JDMs are now in super car territory prices. I feel sad, cause it was kind of a childhood dream to own a R32 and I won’t ever be able to afford one now. I was born 20 years too late I guess 😂
@@schankam Yeah, even prices in Japan are increasing every day as these cars become less common due to them being bought by overseas buyers and exported. Parts are also scarce as well. I have heard first hand from some friends of mine about not being able to purchase newer JDM cars in Europe because of the restrictions imposed.

This was a hosted event so there was a lot of notice in advance. Some meets are like this and others are more random. This one was special.

This was a special event but there are unofficial events that pop up randomly throughout Tokyo.

A show like that in the U.S. would be pointless. There are way too many irresponsible kids who don’t respect their cars. All they want to do is burn tires and spit flames and destroy engines. And those kids would ruin it for everyone else. They all wanna be Gangster.
