Dude, that intro song gets me everytime. I’m here because of Cleetus and stayed around. Cleetus gave you props not long ago in one of his videos. “Those gas ported doodads” are jewelry.
Definitely a true engine builder. Camshaft goes in FIRST!! On a babbitt bearing engine, putting the cam in first allows you to support it on both sides so as you slide it in, so you don’t knick the bearings. Finally…
Got to love Pete's ability to play and write music, love listening to his lyrics of his own music, While he also Builds Badass Engines. I Mean Badass Turds.
Happy Fourth of July. Thank you to all that have served and are serving and their families to allow me and my family the freedom and joy of living in The United States.
@@KimiWallrusI looked at the ones in my truck on accident. Still sent it. Has mediocre oil pressure with 15w40 at hot idle but still goes down the highway at 40 I also didn’t know they align hone them from the factory so they always looks wiped out.

Pete, you rock! Love the music you come up with🤘. There's no other CZcamsr that put this much time and effort into their videos. I'll watch everything you put out. Peace
That guitar is so cool… Amazing sound too. I realize it is mostly through electronics. It makes for great machinists videos. Well done Pete! Damn you’re fast.
Another great video... teaching engine stuff and jammin all at the same time. What else would a normal person want ? All bases covered .. Great job MEAT !!
Many years ago I was at a road race and had a very strange gearbox failure. Fortunately I had all the parts I needed to fix it except for this little cam actuator that had a bearing seized on it. I had to get that thing off to reuse the cam. Fortunately a friend's dad lived right next to the track and came out to hang and help. He took one look at it and said "I'll be back in 30 minutes." He took it home where he had literally just finished setting up his new lathe. Sure enough, 30 minutes later he was back with a custom made puller that took that thing off slicker than snot and a giant thermos full of fresh coffee. That puller is still in my tool box to this day. Only gets used maybe once a decade. The bearing only gets seized if something goes horribly wrong but everyone else just replaces the cam when this happens. Saves me like 80 bucks every time I use it.
How many of y’all have been to Walmart looking for the Polishing Turds greatest hits. And the girl at Walmart tells you they are sold Plum out. To find out today it’s actually Pete playing the music in his videos. Because he’s real good at doing stuff.
Awesome! Pete, can you do a detailed video of degreeing the cam, to include what you were doing with the dial indicator riding on the outside diameter of the degree wheel. Also, what degree wheel is that?
That time-lapse song seems vaguely familiar 😀 Good deal man, sounds great. ALL HAIL KING JACK! For some reason, I now have an urge to go get some Extreme Pressure Lube and Torque my Head...
Interesting increasing the base circle Never seen anybody successfully do the roller conversion. Nice job dude Still wanna see ya lay it down with that SL1 back there dood I know mine kicks azz!!! And I'm an ESP guy from waaaayy back

Is there ANYTHING better than prog-rock engine assembly videos with expert commentary???? No....I thought not!
Made up a whole Torque the Heads Down song 😂
Dude, that intro song gets me everytime. I’m here because of Cleetus and stayed around. Cleetus gave you props not long ago in one of his videos.

Polishing turds is my favorite series on CZcams currently.
The tunes are on point!!! And uh-oh the internet is gonna get pissed for the extension when torquing the heads LOL
The bottom end assembly song earned you a new sub.

Personally my favorite Bass distortion is the KMA Chief Disruptor.
I think the motors cease being turds once you're done polishing them!
We had a few 6 ft homemade sockets for all thread

Pete is a modern renaissance man.

Pete, could you please someday explain how to degree a cam. It would be great. Thanks m8. Keep rocking
I come for the music and stay for the engine/car stuff
Let’s get it 💯
The Greatest CZcams Intro ever recorded!!!! Everyone else is fighting for 2nd place!!!
Damn dude youre pretty good at doing stuff.
Hi Pete , I got caught not trying every ring once and one was 20 up instead of 10 . Lesson learned .
Mr. BO JINGLES LOL
Thanks for showing how to properly assemble an engine. It will be cool to see it rip.
rip or RIP? You never know with Garrett 😂
Keep up the good Music & work contint always good stuff brother :)
An old school builder built it the last time.....that glyptal paint in the lifter valley is a dead giveaway.
You should swap to LED shop lights so they don’t look like strobes on time lapse. They make ones that just drop in, I prefer 3,500k
Starting 2 look like Whistler off the movie Blade lol...jk... Thanks enjoy all the videos and appreciate all the good tech

the intro reminds me of quadrajet on a stock 350 with a broken lifter.
Thanks again for the videos. Your music makes things more exciting and fun!
If you ever need a drummer for some recording, hit me up man. I can lay down some rock drums to a guitar track/metronome.
That time-lapse song seems vaguely familiar 😀 Good deal man, sounds great. ALL HAIL KING JACK!

Exactly one tube..
I cut a good light this time!
That tune rocks! \m/\m/ 80 Foot Pounds!😎💪🤣
Pete, gotta get the black snap back hats in stock.
The last thing I'd call that beautifully assembled engine is a turd! 🙌
