I've heard a few female influencers on social media who'd post about their pregnancy etc and they ended up giving stillbirth etc. Not that all stillbirths are 'ayn - but one does wonder. Imagine how many sisters and brothers who can't have children watch these vlogs/posts etc.And then the regret to think "could it have been evil eye".. Allahul musta'aan.
SubhanAllah, I think about that so much when people post gender reveals and stuff… not everyone is happy for that given person and it’s so hard to figure out who is genuinely going to be happy. May Allah make it easy upon us to live up to the Ayat about showing the blessings that Allah Granted while still being protected by Allah from the evil eye.

Definitely this is also proven in the Qur'an that Allah doesn't like people boasting.
I only post recipes now. Period! Nothing else. A woman contacted me and said hey, I got this just like you. I got that, just like you. You would be surprised who is quietly disliking your blessings.

i agree with the middle path, and i know our intentions shouldnt be to brag or boast to others, but is evil eye something that is mentioned in the Qur'an and Authentic Sunnah? this seems like superstition, like when people say 'knock on wood' .

The prophet sallalahu alayhi wa sallam told us in that from his ummah most will die by the decree of Allah. The second most deaths will be due to evil eye. You can check sunnah.com but yes evil eye is authentic.
Akhi knocking on wood is Shirik. We put our trust in Allah Az'waJal. Evil eye is completely authentic, Abu Ibraheem and Sheikh Tim have done entire series in it.
