Absolutely. She could see he was just like every other vegan out there - they go round preaching about how amazing they are and guilt tripping everyone else. She decided to get her own back by asking and the waiter also did that when he spoke about how the fish bones were ground up into the stew.

I’m far from middle aged, however I am white and I like Prosecco. Although I would rather drink Champagne, but not many of my friends can afford Champagne and when I go to their houses I understand that they can’t afford Champagne and drink Prosecco if it’s their turn to pay for the wine etc.
The vegan kid would piss me off a bit because I would totally point out his fast fashion choices being bad for the environment and animals because YIKES , Food but not the clothing? Not because I'm Vegan or anything just because he had such a strong stance he was making her feel bad for her fish stew.

I learnt from this that some ciders aren't vegan. I thought it was just pressed fruits fermented and put into a glass bottle but many use gelatin (from an animal-derived source), isinglass, chitin (crab shells), and collagen in the filtration process? That is wild. Who woulda thought? We love learning because a Markie video would make me impulsively look it up 😂😂

Yeah most vegans that I know aren't like that guy at all lmao my cousin is a vegan and before rona we used to get together for Sunday dinner every week like the whole extended family and it was never an issue.. we always made a vegan dish for her (and also for a family friend who is vegan who would come sometimes) and they never had a problem with anyone eating meat or any other non-vegan food.. in fact my cousin will even sometimes comment that the meat cooking smells good lol like she doesn't judge at all. I have quite a few vegans in my life, none of them have ever tried to make me feel like sht in order to convert me into veganism lmao
