- Dutch talks us through the 3 Spitfire models from British manufacturer CCM Motorcycles and explains the differences between the original Spitfire, the Scrambler and the FT6.
CCM stole the limelight last year at MCN's Excel show with the launch of their new Spitfire range. The bold design and limited production runs created a huge demand and we've not yet had the chance to swing a leg over one.... until now.
We're proud to wave the Union Jack and support a British brand and small manufacturer, especially one building bikes we want to ride straight out of the crate. So, the Bike Shed HQ in Shoreditch is the place to go if you want to check out the CCM Spitfire up close.
As of last Thursday's club night there'll be a permanent CCM exhibit in the shop so feel free to pop down and see for yourself.

The Scrambler is outstanding, love that seat and unpainted frame, beautiful absolutely beautiful
I checked these out in Birmingham & your so right. The quality of components, design, manufacturing & style is there to see.
And it's built in Britain by a great firm with quality parts and well put together,, it is a good concept with various styles to suit most people,, I like the scrambler,, but the new black line is ace ☘️☘️☘️☘️from Northern Ireland great video
All look fantastic!!
Just popped in to see it in the flesh, stunning workmanship, and the Eggs Benedict in the cafe was great too.
Cracking video Dan! Keep’em coming
Beautiful!
Gorgeous looking bike! Another good excuse to go to the bike shed.....Steve
Saw this CCM at the shed yesterday .... I want !
Living in Colorado USA I love to see the bike it looks absolutely amazing no surprise are selling out as quickly as they are
Omg what lovely bikes. I really like the retro style
Saw them at the Birmingham
NEC absolutely stand out
Stand and bikes,
So good I went back to have another
Look.
These guys build some gorgeous bikes man. If I was rich I woulda bought one of each!
These bikes are stunning, I’ve had my Scrambler version for just about a month, its outstanding fun to ride, having seen all versions at the factory each has its own character and charm. All I can say CCM are delivering bikes and lots were built. If you want a chance at owning, then order as they won’t hang around forever. The details are exquisite and they look stunning. If you’re waiting for delivery, then keep the faith, I had a wobble or two whilst waiting thinking it would never arrive. But these bikes are real, they are special and there out there 😎
I love it 👍🏽
Flat track for sure. Beautiful bike.
OMG YAAAAASS!
I love their Ice Hockey skates.
Such an awesome bike! Rode mine to Morocco last year!
I love the scrambler one. aesthetically, for me, beautiful then we would have to try the engine (speed, vibration, torque, etc ...) on the road.
I regret that I was at the eicma in Milan but for too many people I could not see her well
badass
Sweet bike........love watching your Vidz and seeing the bikes, the whole scene down there looks awesome,so when are you going to expand ?? We need you spread your wings and come further north....Leeds is quite central (hint hint) any plans for anything up this way apart from the show ?? We need a scene like yours up here ! 👍🏻😎🇬🇧
We will expand, but we also want to put some new events on, and put more effort into riding and community. Watch this space!
Bike Shed Motorcycle Club .....look forward to it 👍🏻😎🇬🇧
I had a cafe racer ordered but wanted to change so much I decided the flat tracker was more suitable... HOWEVER... The Bobber is even nicer so will be changing my order again. I used to be indecisive but now...
LOL...
looks great but here does the number plate go?
Adorava ter uma.
Flat-tracker for me too pls! Need a start up clip!
As soon as they give us a go on one!
When will these go into production? And will they be available in the USA?
Was interested in one of these as a second bike. Now I’ve heard they have still barley delivered any and are not communicating with customers. 3,500 mile service intervals and no dealer network is also a problem. Sort it out CCM.
Dutch, have you had a go on the FT6 yet? I've put a deposit down and expect a new sparkly machine at some point, would be interested in your views if you have or do throw a leg over one,
It now is made by SWM What your looking at is the SWM 650 engine from the Superdual & RS 650 that is made in Italy and sold to CCM & AJP for the PR7 ( Husky has nothing to do with this engine anymore )
No frills. A clever and creative way to get around the rules. Are CCM going to build the GP with this larger engine?
A very good question... we'll grill them when we see them next week and find out.
God, I've totally fallen for the bobber! I'm gonna chance my arm and see if they flog me one with some extra's thrown in :-0
Hi guys I really love the Spitfire scrambler. When is the next CCM showcase at the bikeshed, and do you still have one on display? Cheers
Hey, it's a nice one thats for sure. There are no full showcases of the full range planned, but the original Spitfire is still here on display for a while longer. We are planning on getting the guys at CCM to lend us one to play with so keep an eye on the youtube for a vid over the next few months. [Dan].
Update - We have been promised a ride on one of these in July. We'll do a full video report.
Want one! But living in DK is probably an issue...
Price?
Can’t believe they don’t sell these in Canada :(
How much ffs?
Beautifullll I want One. Price? Sold out!!?
Under £10k. Flat Tracker and Cafe Racer are still available. Check CCM website for details and/or to place an order.
Thx
Also vor Export to Germany?
You don’t have to do a million miles an hour to be cool. Thems some sweet rides.
It hasn't sold out because of the price.
Oh no...I actually like this bike but it now has the Bike Shed hipster stamp of approval. Pass the beard oil!
I've ridden one now. They're really good... With or without beard oil.
Bike Shed Motorcycle Club Blast! That wasn't what I wanted to hear. Serious question though...Would a 6 footer with an arthritic right knee (me) fit on it?
The bike is very tall, so good for a 6 footer, and the footrests are quite far from the seat. I'd say yes. ...
Ha... nice one mate made me chuckle ..but so true. It's a lovely show bike but totally impracticable.
I actually feel sexually aroused looking at those bikes then I looked at the wife and felt sad again lol god I want one
The Bikes are a Little Bit overstyled. They Look Like hipster-bikes.
I've met a lot of CCM owners,. The people I met who have bought one them don't look like hipsters. They are mostly British bike enthusiasts, and also own old Triumphs and Nortons, and want to support the British bike building industry - and they like this modern-retro machine, which is also superlight with a fantastic engine and chassis components.
Bike Shed Motorcycle Club
I Like british motorcycles very much!
The new CCM Spitfire Foggy is a realy beautyful Bike.
IT IS more classic streetracer , Looks Not so hipster.
