It's fun to collect photopass cards, maps, and the Buena Vista Street Newspapers. All for free!

Josh Rodriguez I just went on a trip to Disneyland though and when I went to get a newspaper they said they stopped giving them out after the 60th.
If you have a birthday button and you eat at the plaza they give you a free cupcake!

Not just hugs are free but kisses and high fives!! I once got a "high hook" from Captain Hook, I was dressed as a pirate and we touched hooks like you would during a high five.

Another cool way to get stickers is to talk to cast members. I got one once and a tour of the Sorcerer's Workshop in DCA because a cast member heard me singing loudly to the music coming from the main hall where the big tv screens are. I now visit that cast member each time I go back and he remembers my mom and I!!!
Richard needs to either make a youtube channel or be in more videos because he is magical.

My mom and I were shopping at World of Disney and we told the cashier it was our last day, so I kid you not, he put a dozen different buttons in our bag. He told us we could give them to friends as souvenirs

That's a cool tip about the Popcorn from Cozy Cone! I have only ever seen Dill Pickle so I was beginning to lose hope about the other flavors actually existing.
You can't hug that goat anymore. I was there for the last day of the petting zoo. AP holder. So sad.
Back when the tortilla factory existed if you wore a birthday pin instead of 1 tortilla they would give you 3 tortillas in a pack! 🙌🏻

you can ask for a cup of water anywhere and they'll give it to you. yay for not paying for overpriced water bottles!

Hint: LOTS of cast members, besides the surveyors, have special and unique stickers. Try collecting them.
Also, I think they give out some map on the Columbia, but I'm not 100% sure.
I did not know the free sample stuff for popcorn and mint julep and i didn't see this till after I got home tonight from the 24 hour disney day haha dang it! Next time, then! Loved getting to meet you!
you can get any recipe you want from any restaurant in the park from city hall. and you can stickers and buttons from any cast member without handing out your email.

Holy crap I saw Richard he works on the jungle cruise!!! I knew I seen him before and I made sure to remember his name RICHARD
There is the free Pilot's Certificate from the Steamboat if you get to be the official horn blower and ride in the private top area. :) First to ask on each ride gets to do this.

Hey tiff.. I just wanted to let you know 2 more things I thought of that are free ...
1) you can get a free death certificate at the HM
2) if you ask the CM super duper kindly running the Mark Twain if you can help steer the ship they will say of course! And you just sign a paper and at the end of sailing the Mark Twain around the Rivers of America they will actually give you a certificate with Uncle Walt Disney's signature on it.. It's very cool

At some of the meet and greets cast members have stickers of the character you are seeing!
When i was in Disney land about 2006-2007 you could take free stickers from pricesses, mickey, minne, Pluto everyone Nearly, because they carried a basket full of stickers you could take so many you could too and it was Different stickers all The time!

You can also get free park recipes in City Hall (like the recipe for Blue Bayou gumbo)
Knowing that Disney fastpass is free made it really weird when I visited universal studios and they expected you to pay extra for a ticket with fastpass access!

My favorite "free thing" at disneyland is the art class at Animation Academy in DCA where you can learn to draw a disney character and the picture you drew during class is an awesome souvenir 😉💞

I haven't dun it but I herd that when you go on The mark twain and you ask to go upstairs.. I guess where the captain is. you can steer the boat and you get a certificate or something like that 😄

I don't know about Disneyland, but at Disney World there is the chip and Dale campfire sing a long. And after they show a disney movie under the star.

They are more like "complementary" since you paid admission for it, Disney priced
If you have kids and go to first aid/kids bathroom/breastfeeding area they will give you stickers to put your phone number on that you put on your kids if they get lost

I get free ice water all day long. A lot of people actually are surprised by that because you can't even get free ice water at a gas station any more.
It's weird for me to see the physical fastpasses since I'm so used to Disney World.

I'm a bit confused, you said the FASTPASS is FREE? I checked Disney's Online Ticket Booking and to get the FASTPASS service, I must choose the MAXPASS TICKET, not the Regular Ticket. Please explain. Much obliged.
Digital Fastpasses are available for a fee - paper fastpasses that you get IN the park are free.
