Arianna Metheny exactly I used to bring a soft cooler with cold cuts sandwich fixings snacks, frozen big water bottles on side rent a locker for 10 bucks maybe 15. After cost of locker and food, snacks and drink save like 160 to 200 on all that for my family.
totally bring your own & people can sit at picnic tables west of Disneyland’s entrance………………….one way to cut the cost, the people in each grouping, pitch in money for the rental of a locker & PRESTO, save on eating & enjoy Disneyland
The portobello mushroom dog at DCA is not only a great vegan option, but its delicious and cheaper than the other dogs on the menu. And even if you arent a big fan of mushrooms, try this and you might be converted. Its such a perfect filling affordable meal. You can find it at Award Wieners, DCA =)
Alexis R I am not certain but I don't think so. I believe it's exclusively at DCA. But, the galactic grill at Disneyland has a delicious veggie wrap which surprised me.
All the fruit at the carts is super delicious for a light vegan snack! Also, Dole Whip in Adventureland is vegan! Super sweet though. I suggest sharing it with someone. I couldn't eat the whole thing!
Alexis R there is a veggie gumbo in New Orleans next to the haunted mansion gift shop! It's vegan and so delicious! Also there's a vegan burger at the parlor restaurant on Main Street
Gluten Free doesn't make something healthy, FYI, though it is good for someone who has celiacs. Though I will say that part of Adventureland has lots of cut up fresh fruit, for a decent price. Jolly Holiday has the huge 8.99 salads, but sometimes has mini ones for 4.99. I did NOT know about the corn on the cob though! My favorite secret snack is the baked potato by the storyland therate.
amazingabby25 yes someone who mentions it! It irritates me beyond reason when people say 'oh its gluten free so its healthy yada yada yada' bleh educate yourself before you just copy some ignorant foody... Sorry I had to get it of my chest
We'd call the firefly chips a walking taco here (in the Midwest). They're usually served in one of those small, one serving Fritos bags at fairs and stuff. I actually didn't know that was only a regional thing.
My go to tip for corn dog lovers is that the meal at stage door is like a $1.00 something cheaper than the corn dog at little red wagon, and it comes with fries instead of chips! plus there is usually half as long of a line at stage door compared to little red wagon!
~me as a non-American reading fries and chips as the same thing and having to remember the language changes~ Oh, OK, now I know where to go for fries when me and my friends go over this year~ Where is Stage Door though?
I always recommend the chicken dinner at the Plaza Inn. I think it's $17.50, but it's plenty for two people to share. My wife and I split that and a house salad for a nice meal for just over $20.
When my family and I go to Disney Land (California), we usally go 1-2 hours before opening time. We eat breakfest at the Denys right it front of Disney Land. Is worth waking up early because the prices are mostly the same as to any other Densy in any other area. And plus the walk to the park is one street light! As for lunch/dinner we get a turkey leg and soda, a bit on the expensive side but are HUGE. Unless you have a big appatite, you can eat half of it for lunch and eat the rest for dinner. That way you save money. If we do get a bit hungry we uselly bring into the park small bags of dried fruit or potato chips. My family has a sweet tooth so we usally order ice cream for the nemo ride since its a long wait and right in the sun and cotton candy for the night show! When we are on are way in or way out through the main street we go into the sweet shop and I buy a mickey mouse rice crispi covered in chocolate and different toppings. They are a bit bigger than youre hand for 5$. Thanks for reading!
Honestly speaking, If you are willing to spend the money to visit Disneyland once. Then don’t be cheap on what you eat then. I don’t think people are going Disneyland like every single day isn’t it? If you are a Pass Holder, Then great. These suggestions are amazing and suitable for you.
don't know about these items being "cheap" but I guess with Disney prices they're considered to be.......(I understand theme park prices though, 6 flags and SeaWorld are the same) When Sarah said the price of the Frito Pie my jaw literally dropped. I get my pickles for a buck.
I still say the cheapest place to eat is my Backpack....I can feed my family of three for around 5 bux.. If I'm feeling like a baller I might buy a pretzel 🤑
MY COUSINS ARE AT DISNEYLAND TODAY!! (Well it's 10:00 pm right now for me SOO they are in a hotel right now) BUT TOMORROW THEY ARE GOING TO DISNEYLAND!!!!
My number 1 go-to cheap food at Disneyland is plain pasta at Pizza Port! Under $5 if you only get noodles with cheese and it's the same portion. You just say at the register that you have a side pasta. Obviously, this isn't for everyone but I'm picky and don't like sauce on my pasta. 😂
Sammyyam yup the cream cheese pretzel is one of a kind, only sold in a couple places. One I know of is right by start tours a bit before lunch it opens.
At the Golden Horseshoe you can get Ice Cream Nachos. It's three scoops of ice cream on top of crushed waffle cones and it's delicious! It goes for (get this!) about $6!!!!!! Crazy right. It feeds like three people. So yummy too! DON'T go to THE GIBSON GIRL. It's something that's half the size and it's for like $11. Just ask for Ice Cream Nachos at the Golden Horseshoe!
Paige Dugre in California they are just bagged nachos we don't really have a name for them someone made a CZcams video called flaming hots and cheese that's the closest to a name we have out here I like walking taco tho
Paige Dugre I wasn't being rude i am sorry u read that wrong perhaps I didn't word it correctly I was just saying that I had never heard that name and it was a good name for it. when we were in middle school we could buy them for lunch they were labeled on the menu as "chips w/cheese and chili " there is an ice cream truck that also sells "bagged nachos" so I had never heard a creative name like walking tacos I will call them that from now on
Go to White Water Snacks inside the Grand Californian (in the corner next to the pool). Good food, reasonable prices, refillable sodas, and it's usually not crowded at all. They have a menu of made to order stuff including burgers, pizzas, and nachos, as well as remade sandwiches and salads like you would find at a corner convenience store like 7-11. I like the carnitas nachos.
We call the Firefly Chips - a Walking Taco here. One of my favorite treats at football games. We used to make them at Girl Scout camp even!! (35 years ago)! Yikes! We use the Frito snack bag and add taco meat, lettuce, shredded cheese, salsa & sour cream and yum!!! We made them last year for my great niece's birthday party. I hope they still have this when I go to DL in May!!!
also if you go to any starbucks and get either an any size ice coffee, ice tea (i think hot tea and hot coffee too but i'm not sure) you can refill it for 50 cents
Thanks for mentioning that the Bengel BBQ has gluten-free food! We are visiting Disneyland later this year and my 5yr old has a few allergies, including gluten. It's nice to find out about a few foods she can eat before we go!
Great video, guys! One quick note: The River Belle Terrace no longer serves breakfast, but Rancho del Zocalo does, so people can get Mickey pancakes there instead. :)
Best thing that’s cheap is bringing your own lunch! OMG it’s a game changer. My family either gets subs or McDonald’s or we bring home-made sandwiches with BBQ chips in the sandwich. OML it tastes so GOOD 😂 This was a great video for foods that I didn’t know thank you! 🙏
I just moved to NYC from Las Vegas 6 months ago, and when I say that I miss Disneyland more than anything else, I hella mean it. Y'all just made me miss it even more.
I loved that Disneyland had so many fresh fruit carts. Disney World could use more of these! My kids were a lot easier to get a quick snack to take on the go. And it was a much healthier option than buying them junk food! A kids vlog would be great! Thanks for the great ideas!
If you're a pickle lover the fried pickle spears at the carnation cafe are a must they're not cheap considering but if you love pickles they're worth it so crunchy, they stay together with the breading, and the spicy sauce they come with is tasty as well.
At Disneyland Paris I stayed at the Hotel Cheyenne and it had a unlimited breakfast bar. I just filled a tupperware with the croissants and Nutella and ate those around the park. It was HEAVEN.
Ask for corn dog without side to save moola! Hot dog kids meal at coke corner! Tuna sandwich at harbour galley is under 10 bucks! Comes with chips and tastes amazing!
if you go to Clarabelle's in Toontown, NOT Buena Vista Street, you can get most of the ice cream treats from the carts (mickey bars, mickey sandwiches, etc.) and use your pass discount to get them for even cheaper than they are.
I usually love getting a 5 dollar meal at a buffet and then splitting with a friend, it's super affordable. Also, kids meal in any place is usually 5 ish dollars! I find DCA has a lot of cheap food places as well.
I love the once a week videos! I feel like they're better quality (not that they weren't great quality before) and I enjoy them even more! I was laughing so hard when the camera was focusing on Lil' P's arms 😂😂
So many great suggestions for food, but one of my favorite things at DCA is the booze! My biggest tip for the 21+ crowd is cocktails>beer. Cocktails are usually only $1 or $2 more than a glass of beer, so it's much more bang for your buck!
Make your own breakfast in the morning, bring snacks and frozen water bottles on hot days. If feeding 2 or more all day rent a locker bring a igloo with cold foods save hundreds on food and water. Kinda a pain but way worth the trouble. Convienence is at a cost in this world.
Not exactly in the parks, but I love Tortilla Joe's in Downtown Disney! No need to go to the sit down restaurant of it because the take out side kind of is like a taqueria/chipotle style
The Corn Dog at the Stage Door there were good and not too expensive.I never eat before the fast rides(Space Mountain, thunder Mountain,Splash Mountain),to avoid motion sickness.
A lot of people say that dole whip is just in Disneyland and it's different in Disneyland. But you can get the same dole whip( you actually get more and you can get fruit with it)at magic mountain for less than what it is at Disneyland. I'm not saying go to magic mountain after Disneyland but if you are at magic mountain you can get dole whip
And that's why when you want to eat, just leave the park and go across the street to the all you can eat buffet, it's cheap, filling, and will let you eat and get back to the park.
Something that is REALLY good and practically fill u up ALL DAY, is the cheeseburger at the Red Rose Tavern (with regular or garlic fries) i prefer the garlic ones, but whatever u like it around 12 bucks. But soooo worth it
I think that the additional option "Pancakes at the River Belle Terrace" has been wrong since Feb 201 because it has been moved to Rancho del Zocalo. I used to work at RBT before they kicked the QSFB and breakfast option out
Ok first of all... Yay Liz CORN! and second BLEH pickles. You're still awesome though Sarah even though Liz has better food tastes! Please tell me you at least like Dr Pepper ;)
how to actually eat cheap at Disneyland: bring your own food
Arianna Metheny exactly I used to bring a soft cooler with cold cuts sandwich fixings snacks, frozen big water bottles on side rent a locker for 10 bucks maybe 15. After cost of locker and food, snacks and drink save like 160 to 200 on all that for my family.
I thought that wasn't allowed? But then I haven't been for like 6 years, maybe the rules changed.
totally bring your own & people can sit at picnic tables west of Disneyland’s entrance………………….one way to cut the cost, the people in each grouping, pitch in money for the rental of a locker & PRESTO, save on eating & enjoy Disneyland
Patrick trying the beef skewer, "let me just casually flex, oh are you filming? Didnt see you there"

Jdarko19 great tip!!
Jdarko19 do you know if you can get it at Disney land am a vegan and I'm going back to Disney land this summer and was wondering what I can eat .

ahahaha
ALEXANDER BECK yes, we all know but we all love him
ALEXANDER BECK why does that! matter

Frito pie here in Texas and I was surprised to
My go to tip for corn dog lovers is that the meal at stage door is like a $1.00 something cheaper than the corn dog at little red wagon, and it comes with fries instead of chips! plus there is usually half as long of a line at stage door compared to little red wagon!
That's a good one! I always give away my chips because I think they are gross, but would so be down for fries instead!
Jessica Blackham I go to the red wagon. no chips. is the stage coach the exact same corn dog. size and taste?
alvarez5150 yes!! It's the exact same corn dog. stage door is right next to the golden horseshoe in frontierland!
Thanks for the tip! My husband and I love the red wagon corn dogs.
~me as a non-American reading fries and chips as the same thing and having to remember the language changes~ Oh, OK, now I know where to go for fries when me and my friends go over this year~ Where is Stage Door though?

yes!! they give you so much food at plaza inn!
Maybe not the cheapest, but I think it may be the best value meal at Disneyland.
Cheapest way to eat at disney (a packed lunch )
sarah movie reviewer so true
Yes, do one for DCA... and Downtown Disney! I'm not going until July but I like to think about food...
I came here for cheap eats. I ended up at a gun show. Daaannnng Patrick! 👍🏽👍🏽
Quality in Videos up....Length in Videos up....I'm happy :)
Yay!
That corn on the cob was definitely not cheap.
you should do an all Kids Meal video .....
That's a good idea!
I miss the clam chowder beard bowl and mint julips
Lucia's Memory Ln oh my gosh I agree the mint Julips are heavenly
I used to get 4 every time I go lol
WHAT IM GOING TO DISNEYLAND TOMORROW NO MORE MINT JULIPS ;-;

Yeah, we definitely mean cheap for Disney.
Gots it ;)
DaughterofaKing amen, $4+ for corn on the cob makes me very sad.
But then I'm too freaking poor for Disneyland anyway, so why am I here?
ice is free... you can eat it! then when it melts you can drink it. killing two dinosaurs with 1 asteroid. one question 2:46 do you even lift brah?
I still say the cheapest place to eat is my Backpack....I can feed my family of three for around 5 bux..
If I'm feeling like a baller I might buy a pretzel 🤑
Anthony Bradshaw yes great reminder
3 options for pickles! don't forget garlic!
Sour, Spicy, and Garlic :oo
I just found out! They didn't have garlic at the stand I went to.
MY COUSINS ARE AT DISNEYLAND TODAY!! (Well it's 10:00 pm right now for me SOO they are in a hotel right now) BUT TOMORROW THEY ARE GOING TO DISNEYLAND!!!!

Im into this
I don't find this food cheap at all especially if you have to spend $4 more than once. better off spending $12 at once for a meal
I love Disney food videos. I like the Mickey pretzel, the dole whip, and the mickey shaped ice cream as well as the waffles
Sammyyam yup the cream cheese pretzel is one of a kind, only sold in a couple places. One I know of is right by start tours a bit before lunch it opens.

"Gluten-free" does not necessarily mean "healthy".
He lists other reasons why Bengal is a healthier option.
The firefly chips could also be called a Walking Taco! That's the name Mid-westerners use for it!
Paige Dugre in California they are just bagged nachos we don't really have a name for them someone made a CZcams video called flaming hots and cheese that's the closest to a name we have out here I like walking taco tho
I was just saying another name that could be used for them.. No need to be rude.

I like the feel of this video. Just 4 young people having fun at Disneyland. They all have great chemistry together

Thanks for mentioning that the Bengel BBQ has gluten-free food! We are visiting Disneyland later this year and my 5yr old has a few allergies, including gluten. It's nice to find out about a few foods she can eat before we go!
food for free: STICK YOUR HAND IN THE TRASH. IT'S LIKE A BLIND BOX SO TWICE THE FUNNNN
I love the cameo of Joe Jonas & Sophie Turner taking a photo at the end of this video lol.
Great video, guys! One quick note: The River Belle Terrace no longer serves breakfast, but Rancho del Zocalo does, so people can get Mickey pancakes there instead. :)
A few seconds into the video and I'm hungry!!!!

I'll take your place in NYC you're living my dream :/
Christian Dior There's room for everybody in NYC, you'll get here!
We love the Bengel BBQ! The veggie skewer and a meat stick, the best snack to share -- keeps you going!
I loved that Disneyland had so many fresh fruit carts. Disney World could use more of these! My kids were a lot easier to get a quick snack to take on the go. And it was a much healthier option than buying them junk food! A kids vlog would be great! Thanks for the great ideas!
Spaghetti at Pizza Planet. $10, and it's enough for two. Get a side salad for $5 and it's enough for three people, for $15
River belle Terrace has breakfast? I thought they stopped when they turned into table service and Rancho Del Zocalo had their breakfast options now??
Definitely need this video because I’m going to Disneyland for Grad Nite and I wanna save money but mostly waste it to buy other stuff.
this was super fun. I think we need more in this series though:)
The guy in the background with Jiji from Kiki's Delivery Service on his hat. 😍 I need it.
Omg you guys are coming out with this video just in time as I am going to Disneyland in two weeks. All of this food looks delicious
If you're a pickle lover the fried pickle spears at the carnation cafe are a must they're not cheap considering but if you love pickles they're worth it so crunchy, they stay together with the breading, and the spicy sauce they come with is tasty as well.

Ask for corn dog without side to save moola! Hot dog kids meal at coke corner! Tuna sandwich at harbour galley is under 10 bucks! Comes with chips and tastes amazing!
I love that they have a nice selection of fruit and a good price. Mango is my personal favorite!
Can you guys do a video on d23 with some tips and advice for people that are going for the first time! I'm so excited for it this year!
if you go to Clarabelle's in Toontown, NOT Buena Vista Street, you can get most of the ice cream treats from the carts (mickey bars, mickey sandwiches, etc.) and use your pass discount to get them for even cheaper than they are.
I usually love getting a 5 dollar meal at a buffet and then splitting with a friend, it's super affordable. Also, kids meal in any place is usually 5 ish dollars! I find DCA has a lot of cheap food places as well.
The Moana skewer with shrimp and pineapple is amazing. I get it without the sausage
The Jolly Holiday tomato bisque and grilled cheese is my faaaaave. That's my must stop.
Make your own breakfast in the morning, bring snacks and frozen water bottles on hot days. If feeding 2 or more all day rent a locker bring a igloo with cold foods save hundreds on food and water. Kinda a pain but way worth the trouble. Convienence is at a cost in this world.
Hahahhah died when lil p was was eating the beef 😂😂😂
Yay! Disney park + Disney food! Are we still doing it in order?!?! :D Intro, where 'ya at (we miss u)?
If the cheapest thing at a Disneyland is a $3.50 pickle.... I'm good. I'll pack my lunch.
It's so weird like the video itself seems more HD and more cool concept/edited. I'm liking this theme already! Very good video idea!
Rancho del Zocalo is the best place to eat for cheap, for $12-15 you get this huge plate that could easily feed two people.
Corn Dogs at Stagedoor Cafe is my go-to place !! It is cheaper than at the Little Red Wagon and you get FRIES !!
Thanks for the tips. Currently in the DCP in Disneyland so i really need to be frugal
Ooooh I didn't know you could get corn on the cob at Disneyland! I'll have to check that out when I go in 2 weeks!
I love the food at Bengal BBQ! And their pomegranate piranha lemonade compliments the food really well!

Something that is REALLY good and practically fill u up ALL DAY, is the cheeseburger at the Red Rose Tavern (with regular or garlic fries) i prefer the garlic ones, but whatever u like it around 12 bucks. But soooo worth it
Maurice's treats. Cheddar garlic twists. Amazing!
Thank you ! I’m watching what I eat and that kids turkey sandwich pack will save me lol
The fritto pie looks amazing.. they are popular here in New Mexico. If you are curious!🙂
I think that the additional option "Pancakes at the River Belle Terrace" has been wrong since Feb 201 because it has been moved to Rancho del Zocalo. I used to work at RBT before they kicked the QSFB and breakfast option out
Mannnn I wish I could wear spring/summer clothes in February 😭
I recently tried the Jolly Holly Soup and Sandwich now I am hooked😀👍
OH MY PATRICK 😍
My mom loved the Bengal BBQ. I think it was her favourite part of our trip
the disneyland chimichangas are the freaking bomb
Sarah's outfit in this video is my LIFE
OMG YES THE SKEWERS
I used to always get food there and people were like "BUT WHY" and it's just literally because of the pricing HAHA
This video made me soooo glad you are taking more time now!!!
i'm from the central california, like in the valley near fresno, and here the "fire fly chips" are just called frito boats and they're super common.
This makes we want to go back to Disneyland
Ok first of all... Yay Liz CORN! and second BLEH pickles. You're still awesome though Sarah even though Liz has better food tastes! Please tell me you at least like Dr Pepper ;)
Firefly chips are just a walking taco with more magic.
The suppressed hatred in Lizzy's eyes at 4:31 @ the pickle is me
Love Jolly Holiday! Also thought the food there was reasonable, and also delicious! Thanks for sharing!
I love the mashed potatoes at Flo's with their mac&cheese kids meal ~
The Mickey Pretzel with cheese sauce is my favorite!! Also the popcorn at Disneyland always tastes so good!!
I love the chili fries from the Golden Horseshoe! They are like 5 bucks and super duper filling!
