I only watch when Mahomes is playing.... but noticing the general pace of the game is much better than what I remember... picking up some tips from the CrazyFootballLeauge... if they add the waggle & loosen up the motion rules... and get a bigger field... maybe add one more guy to each side... cut it down to 3 downs... it would be great!).

      Well in the nhl there are a lot of American hockey teams but in the cfl there are only Canadian teams so it is kinda of the most Canadian thing

    1:28 - he’s 100% right. Toque is just a way better word that what anyone else calls those things. Ive heard skull-cap, woolly-cap, beanie.....toque is way better than all of those.

      Several years ago I was in Ottawa on business and Obama had pulled up a few minutes before me to get beaver tails for his daughters. Limos and secret service at the beaver tail stand downtown. Apparently the staff thought they were seeing things.

      @@tygrkhat4087 Well, your guess was on the mark. It was a great game but from Andrew Harris, the offensive line, and the defense, there was a sense of now or never. It was a great team effort and I am glad their drought is finally over. Maybe next year Hamilton can end their drought.

    I remember being in the US and them telling me "washrooms" was Canadian and they found it funny. This was at a hotel so I asked them "well how many BATHs are in there?.....how much RESTING do you do in there? .....but you do WASH in there right?"

    Nearly 2 out of 5 CFL players are from the US. I’m an ardent fan of the NFL but I do love and admire the CFL. I love the Edmonton Elks (formerly the Eskimos) as they have won most Grey Cups since 1975.

    I've never had poutine but would love to give it a shot. Many thanks to the great American players for their contributions to our 3down version of the wonderful game of football. You really have to have intelligence to go with skills to play football.

      CFLs biggest game (highest viewed on tv in the US) is always June 1st . We are dying for football after the NBA finals. I would move that game to a 6pm Memorial day game . On ABC not ESPN 2. And have Metallica do the halftime show .

    All you Americans in the CFL we Canadians welcome you with open arms! I'm an Esks fan and I love the CFL! I also love the NFL too, my NFL team is the Bears. No offense to ANY football fan, but the best fans in the WORLD belong the the Saskatchewan Rough Riders! They are NUTS!

    I just want to say CFL tried to have All Star games. It didn't work.
    I do home they have 3 pre season games (one at home, one away, and one at a random field to promote the league), either 16 or 18* games in the regular season (with* 2 or 1 bye week) (* is my preference) and finally a 2 week playoffs with the Grey Cup at the end of November (start around June).

    Is poutine a Canadian thing or a Quebecer thing? Here in the States it's viewed as a Canadian thing but my trips to Ontario and Quebec left the impression it's more of a Quebecer thing.

    Love this video. Seems like every sport is doing this kind of thing thanks to Drive to Survive. My only knock on this is - "poutine, maple syrup, eh?, beaver tails" - I mean c'mon - do teams not let these guys go anywhere except stores that sell touristy stuff? It would have been nice if the topic went a little deeper than the usual stereotypes. Props to the player that talked about how their speech changed based on living in Canada. The premise of the video is great - but if you're going to take the time/effort to produce something like this (and you should), do yourselves a favour and don't phone it in.

      It was called the '72 Summit Series. The Canada Cup hadn't been invented yet. I think it started in '76. And yes I agree that '72 series was one of Canada's greatest moments!

    Poutine is gravy/melted cheese covered fries 99% French-Canadian only. Beavertails are delicious flattened, deep-fried dough coated with cinnamon sugar. Neither is to be confused with a Poontang or Beaver or Tail which are all vaginas, but Canadian girls don't mind if you do, especially our French girls (most sexual in the world).
