Them wannabe race car drivers still are better situated on that oval..... they just f... up their own crap
At the track they have safety equipment and personnel to respond to crashes. They’re also in a controlled environment where innocent bystanders can’t get hurt.

Awd doesn't equal lateral traction - that's weight, tires, and suspension. In fact, understeering into a wall the way he did would have never happened with RWD.

@@rossfuller8025 it depends on the awd system, I have a BMW with xdrive that is very rear focused.
When the rear comes around, the front wheels start pulling you through that corner.
It’s amazing and I have higher cornering speeds than with my rwd BMWs.
Also it drifts much more controllable on snow and instead of getting stuck it pulls itself through!
I can’t speak highly enough about the xdrive generation from the e60/e90 upwards.

I would legit kick someones ass if they blatantly drove into my car like some of these drivers did. Yes, things do happen on the race track, but some of these drivers are complete assholes.

Hate to break it to you but the first clip is from Rockford speedway they always have two drivers that will purposely mess up and hit each other every time they have spectator drags

That's what the tracks call them. The term drag was once used as a slang term for automobile. Drag was also used as a slang term for a street.
Modern sanctioned drag races are done on a drag strip not a street. Should we change the name?
