A walkthrough of the ZX Spectrum game, Contact Sam Cruise. From the recording originally sent to www.rzxarchive.co.uk/ #ZXSpectrum #RetroGaming #Walkthrough
One of the finest Spectrum games ever which captivated me as a child. Of course, it had its shortcomings: complicated controls, confusing gameplay, and incredibly difficult. I didn't have a clue what I was supposed to be doing. Nevertheless, this game just oozes with atmosphere like no other: From the 1940s architecture, to the bustling streets, full of life, litter blowing in the breeze… all moodily lit by the shadowy sunset. The game's narrative builds a vivid sense of character, time, and place, brimming with intrigue and excitement. A wonderful title, and an inspiration for the games I'm working on myself :-)
Ah! Happy, happy times. Never finished this one. To me, was far trickier than Back to Skool. Loved the ambition though. Thanks for the Speccy nostalgia buzz. x
While I'm still basking in a childlike glow - surely this could be a new indie title on either of the consoles or pc? Give it a lick of paint, make the thing a bit more 'playable' and we'd have a minor hit, no?

MOVIE was pretty spectacular too as I recall. There were a few that blew my little mind!!! This is one of them. Trap Door! That blew my mind.
Fantastic game for the time. This brings me back.

The ability to wonder around freely was a pioneer sandbox game together with it's twin skool games.
