Fun fact: My Italian aunt who lived at the time in Canada worked in a designer shop that made the famous yellow wedding dress she wore to her marriage to Burton. She helped with making the dress.

I was up front at one of Ms Taylor's perfume promos and they had questions for her. A rude lady ask who her fav lover was.? Liz arrogantly said " ohhhh wouldn't you like to know??!!!" I almost fell out of my chair laughing and she smiled and winked at me. Then we burst out laughing the same time but no one else was!! It was so fun and she looked beautiful in all white silk pantsuit holding her white dog " Sugar"

I’m currently reading this book called “The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo” and knowing what I know about Elizabeth Taylor based on public information. I could tell the book is a lot inspired by her and Marilyn Monroe, especially the JFK rumors.

I'm 48 and I use St. Ives Oatmeal lotion, it's water based. I hardly have any wrinkles (yet lol). You don't need expensive lotions to keep your skin healthy. It helps not to smoke though.

My great uncle, lived in New York City and said he saw her up close and he said she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen.

It's the funniest thing! I didn't know that double eyelashes is a mutation. I have double eyelashes and it's funny because I have also been asked to prove that I'm not wearing false eyelashes, lol. One time, I wore mascara and my sister thought I was wearing falsies. I told her I wasn't, and she literally came over to me and yanked on my lashes! Needless to say, it did hurt. We did have a mighty laugh after that! 🤣😜
The best part though, my daughter inherited the same thing! Everybody always comments on her lashes. I love it!

I will always be a big fan of hers simply because she knew certain celebrities back then were gay( when nobody else knew) and she was their friend. She didn't judge or out them. When Marilyn learned that the famous nightclub the Copacabana(I think that's the name) found out that they would not book Ella bc she was black Marilyn intervened. She told the owner of the club that she would sit front and center at Ella's performances for a week to atttact publicity! It worked, the first night Frank Sinatra and Judy Garland sat right by Marilyn in the front row.

I was born and raised in Las Vegas. In 1958, the only preschool in town was at Temple Beth Shalom. I went there for two years, and still remember my teacher's names. ( Mrs. McCall and Mrs. Dial) We weren't Jewish, but I didn't know that, so I insisted we celebrate all Jewish High holy days. When you said Taylor and Burton were married there, I couldn't believe it. Loved this upload. When these big studios allow other authors or actors to say someone is sexually active, it always angers me because some of these men have forced themselves on these young woman. They are just trying to find the love that missing from their own lives. Too bad they never judge themselves.

I was a little deflated at what I thought was ‘old lady fragrance’ (mean way to say it.. it’s a mature fragrance) because of the stigma behind White Diamonds, but when I smelled it??! When I wore it for the first time around my husband??! Lol I felt grown, elegant, and dare I say, mature. I wanted to go to a ballroom event or an upscale restaurant, lounge, bar. There’s a beautiful, oriental, gently floral scent. It’s unlike anything I’ve ever smelled. Very distinct, though I’m no fragrance connoisseur, so take that into account too, it may be familiar or have likeness to someone else. Millennials and younger, don’t turn your nose up! It’s a gorgeous fragrance

I've always been so intrigued with Elizabeth Taylor we just call her Liz. Met her in the 80s when I was a kid she gave me some great advice when she was doing a book promotion by Kitty Kelly at that time it was wonderful such a remarkable gorgeous icon. That more women should take notes and dress and act classy.
