Hi, was thinking of upgrading my head unit whilst using original camera….do you think that the colours you get on the new head unit are the same or better than the picture you got in the small original screen? I have always found the original reverse camera setup very lacking of colour in my 2013 model. Thoughts?
Hi, Yeah it is better as it bigger and a HD screen however it looks worst quality just as the screen is bigger. But as a whole colour is better and easier to see. Cheers

Hey guys, Connected the two blue wires with the orange/black wire on the main harness. Then connected the RCA plug with the cam in plug. But the reverse camera feed still doesnt come out from the screen(andriod headunit). Bottom screen(oem) is black. Do you have any idea what i might have done incoreectly? Thanks!

Hey, mate. This head unit has it's own fascia. It should look like the factory one. Not the same as the 2017-2018 ones.
28:45 In my 2013 JDM, I don’t have the lower screen. What functions does that have ? In my 150 it is storage with a cover.
It's a trip computer and for reverse camera.
