Re: Zero is one of the most interesting isekai anime that has come out in the past few years. The story revolves around Natsuki Subaru being transported from Earth to a new world and he is granted one simple power: "Return By Death". Subaru must use this newfound power to save those he cares about, such as Emilia, Rem, Ram, Petra, Otto and Garfiel and more.
Who is Satella and why did she grant subaru this power? What is the motivation behind the witch cult which have members such as Petelguese the sin archbishop of sloth? These are some of the questions I'll tackle on this channel, I hope you enjoy it and most importantly also enjoy season 1 and season 2 of Re: zero and hopefully it does well enough to warrant a third season covering arc 5 (Season 3 re: zero).

Possibly. There's a very good reason why Reinhardt would not necessarily be able to access new blessings while in the IQ world though.

@@MegaLinket You are probably right, as we do know for sure that Subaru is still connected to the Shadow Garden directly and that this connection is roughly analogous to that of natives of that world and Od Lagna. But, the connection between Od Lagna and magic as it manifests in the material world only (usually) occurs before birth, when a soul is granted an affinity and/or a divine protection. Afterward, only environmental or stored Od mana and a working gate are necessary, and we see many times that the IQ world is very Mana dense. Reinhardt and Gluttony are the only characters shown with "aftermarket" connections to Od Lagna. We also know that Eris is completely shut off from her realm and even sneakily warns the others that this is the case. Though, thinking more about it, Naofumi and his crew can use their magic, which is definitely connected directly to their world.

As the director put it, they also weren't even talking about Reinhard vs Ainz in general, but simply about the fact that Isekai Quartet restricts a victory from happening in the show.
It was simply about how the rules of the show work and nothing more.
This applies to other series within the show, too. It isn't just a Reinhard and Ainz thing.
I don't want to be rude, but Jake has done this multiple times where he only gives partial information instead of the whole thing.

What I got from this whole thing is despite having an ungodly amount of power, Reinhard's biggest weakness is being human. He's arguably even more "human" than the rest of the Re: Zero cast, if the IF stories are anything to go by.
reinhard is certainly the best executed character exploring that theme of being human with flaws in rezero

volume 9 of the ln is just arc and season 2 pretty much are only arc 4 of re zero, in there there not much of Reinhardt, he is showcased mostly in arc 5 and in some side stories( pride if, glutony if, greed if as example but there are others), so yeah i say he get more interesting, tho he is the archetipe of the hero if you don't find it interesting you probably would't find him that more interesting.

also the special seals sphynx know of can strip him of his divine blessings and kill him, but still..
I don't think so. He failed to cross the desert in arc 6 so might be weak to time spells or reality warping spells

Lets be honest. Ainz would just threaten Reinhard's homeland with nuke-equivalents and he'd stand down. Sure he could beat Ainz with the dragon sword, but Reinhard has crippling indecision already without dealing with a mass-hostage situation. His mental weakness would force him to back down, even if he could theoretically beat Ainz and disable the nukes before they fired.
If Reinhard was just Jesus-kun, he'd be a boring character, but the way the plot threats bend around him, and how he reacts to this occurring makes him a very interesting character in the story.
Reinhard may have a weak mentality, but Reinhard can be very quick and effective once he makes a desicion.
Reinhard could quickly deal with Puck should he try to end the world and Reinhard was quick to put Zombie-Theresia down since he did not see her as his grandma.
I agree that Reins greatest weakness id his indesisiveness, but it is still possible for Reinhard to make the desicion to kill Ainz if he threatens all of Lugunica.

Yeah, but 'stand down or everyone dies' isn't something he has the mental fortitude to deal with. Even if he thought he could stop the nukes, he'd rather not act and keep everyone alive.

Ummm everyone should keep in mind that Tappei never said Reinhard would lose but that he couldn't beat Ainz. You can take that as perhaps it would be a stalemate cuz I think if they fought it would end with the world being destroyed in the process with no winner 😂

@@gantashiro978 Ainz has a very strong and conclusive victory condition against Rein, while Rein really doesn't have a victory condition against Ainz. The Goal of All Life is Death will certainly kill Rein and bypass the blessing of the phoenix. Rein also isn't the type and doesn't have the knowledge to go for a blitz.

We know Ains never fights a battle without a plan, he always gets as much info first as he can get. So Reinhart being godly op would be taken into calculation if they were forced to fight. And we know Ains is willing to go to any extremes to achive victory, including manipulation, emotional torture and genocide. So, yeah, Rainhart would survive, and then crumble over a mountain of corpses.
I feel like that would make a great story.

@@dragodraco7511 Wish Upon A Star has been stated by Ainz to be capable of stealing broken things that are similar to blessings (Overlord's Talents). When Ainz was saving Nfirea he wanted to steal Nfirea's talent to use any Magical Item no matter what, (Do note, this would allow someone as weak as Nfirea to wield stuff like the Staff of Ainz Ooal Gown) but in the end Ainz considers Nfirea's possibility of renewable potion maker as too valuable in comparison to the talent. As for Dark Wisdom, it is directly how Ainz learns the spells he does, it is literally how Ainz has so many spells that someone of his class shouldn't have, it's the basis and root of his entire "Wild Card" build that he uses for PvP.
If we consider World Items from Overlord, then it makes sense that Ainz would win, as these are similar to Authorities, but in equipment form.
However, it doesn't make alot of sense that Ainz would be stronger in his base form.
In fact, Reinhard was shown as besting Cocytus in tough of war in the Isekai Quartet anime. This plus some interactions with Ainz were clearly meant as a joke that even thou the Overlord main cast is very op in their own universe, there are "op-er" characters.
I think this comes down to both Tappei not being very familiar with Overlord and not caring about powerscaling with other universes.
Also, imagine how childish and inapropriate it would be if the all the authors were like "No, my guy is stronger!".
The main problem is interaction and powerceiling of the worlds tbh. Despite both Ainz and Reinhard have demonstrated what happens when they exert themselves, neither have shown their strongest moves, in Rienhard's case he has never fought someone who can truly give him a challange in a straight up fight, only giving his best in a scenario where someone is using his heroic personality against him. In Ainz's case, yes he fought seriously against shalltear, but this was without his strongest items and more importantly World Class Items, which are at bare minimum capeable to overwriting reality on a planetary scale, but their peak is unknown, especially the Twenty, you also have Wild Magic which is a whole nother can of worms.
Reinhard when not in the Re:Zero world has no blessings, making him super vulnerable to basically all abilties Overlord, which would cause Ainz to pretty much stomp him easily due to time stop + death magic and no extra life to resurrect him. However Reinhard in the Re:Zero world has basically unlimited revives and a ton of useful abilties, that while not absolute and can be overpowered if the opponent is strong enough, making any fight, no matter wheter you win or not pointless as he just resurrects.
We also don't know how magic in Overlord would interact with magic and resistances in Re:Zero and vice-versa, maybe it just ignores all resistences or maybe Re:Zero abilities take prescedence, maybe Reinhard's Dark Magic resistance would make him resistant to death magic or maybe it wouldn't defend him at all. Maybe one of Ainz's buffs or items could protect him by nullyfying the magic blasts from Reinhard's sword or maybe it would just bypass it.
There any number of ways to interperet it, meaning whoever "wins" is pretty much entirely up to one's own imagination on how the fight goes and how the world's interact with one another.

@@bonk5943 No, a wish granting World Item was used by a player to bring Yggdrasil magic into the New World on a global scale. In the novels you also have spells that messure in kilometers, and spells that have at least small town level output.
The city district feat comes from Ainz in his Momon disguise fighting Jaldabaoth (Demiurge) which is really just them putting up an act. Ainz using perfect warrior is also much weaker than a regular level 100 player.
The feat could also come from platinum dragon Lord, who destroyed several city districts just by flying through them when landing. Either way, there is currently no good feat for peak power in Overlord Level 100 characters, as unlike Dragon Ball characters, where we can simply use the level of destruction around them as feat, Overlord is more concentrated, where a town level attack doesn't always cause massive destruction to the area around them but instead just damage to their opponent's HP.
This is the problem with trying to messure characters that sweeps everything they encounter easily, there are very few fights that give any opposition or statements declaring the full power of a character as they never need to use it.

My point is that he clearly wasn't talking about strength.
Satella's world consumption wasn't like a Dragon Ball Kamehameha or Death Beam or something though, it's a gradual thing that lasted for a long time during Satella's rampage. It's kind of like if you gave someone a rocket launcher with infinite ammo they could destroy all of manhatten over time, but not in a single attack. Reid, Satella and Reinhard are simelar to that. Tappei mentioned in a Q&A that, yes Reinhardt can destroy the world, but in a simelar way to Godzilla destroy the world, not a single world ending swing, it would take a while.
That's not to say Reinhardt or Satella is weak though, Reinhardt's sword beam from the Reid (The Dragonsword) does at least Large Mountain level damage and probably somewhere around Large Island Level per hit and he has insane reaction speed, which is really damn strong, but not quite Country Level.
Re: Zero's power lies more in hax abilities, especially some of the more cheatsy authorities than it does in raw power.
Isekai Quartet never stated that Reinhardt could beat Ainz though, it was just Ainz reacting to Reinhard's blessings and called him overpowered. Though, this is mainly because Subaru doesn't know much about Blessings and do not know that blessings are not absolute powers , most notably his "First Attack Immunity" and Preceding Attack immunity" is just automatic reaction (Kind of like a Spider Sense) that makes Reinhardt Auto-Dodge attacks, but doesn't prevent something of equal or greater speed from hitting him or ina scenario where he can't move (like a place with too little room to dodge).
Mind you, I do think in a straight up fight, Reinhard would very likely win unless Ainz's magic can pierce the resistences of Reinhardt's blessings and remove the Pheonix blessing, to prevent Reinhard from just resurrecting infinitely until he wins. But people often vastly overestimate Reinhard's power and take it too be absolute when it's not even absolute in the Re:Zero world and write him of as a cheap OP character instead of a conflicted, lonely man with a hero complex and massive guilt. People do the same thing with Ainz, but he does not have the same "invincible" reputation that Reinhard has online.
If we want the strongest character in all of the Isekai Quartet worlds, then it would easily be Existence/ Being X in Youjo Senki who is at bare minimum Large Planet Level through sheer size alone, and if his statement are to be taken seriously, then Being X has created at least 2 universes, which puts him leagues above everyone else with ease.

@Buster head Reinhardt "Recreating the world" was very oviously just Tappei using fancy words to describe the Blizzard created by Apocalypse Beast Puck and the clouds themselves clearing.
However splitting the clouds from the sky is still a pretty good feat, which amounts up to around Large Mounain Level. Nowhere near planet or world level though.

the way to defeat reinhartd is to make him depressed by being unable to protect the people, reinhartd will still survive and cannot be killed but in a sense, he lost.
If Tappei really said "Reinhard couldn't withstand a battle at a level where a city or country would disappear" I don't know if he's trolling or what cause Puck destroyed the world and Reinhard beats Puck easily and give life to the world in a single swing of his sword... so scaling wise Reinhard is easily a Planetary character. What Tappei really means is "Ainz would win in a fight cause the city or country will be destroyed" so that's clearly Reinhard lost cause he cares about the world or something ? like Pride IF maybe ?
Puck destroys the world by just sapping the mana of the Od Lagna. It’s like if planet earth had a can you could keep kicking to destroy it. Tappei means Reinhard can’t win against someone who could reduce a city or country to a floor of ash with an attack that could cover it. Not running around and destroying shit overtime.
Tappei was specifically talking about Reinhart being incapable of safely evacuating civilians while dealing with attacks at that magnitude because he can't be everywhere at once.

Well people who believe that Reinhard can beat Ainz did not think that blessing are not absolute. Also Ainz has spells and skills that let him pass resistances.
So I belive that Ainz can absolutly beat him. Rainhard is just super resistant and strong human, on the other hand Ainz has a lot of special skills, which many not care about resistances or he could just seal him forever.
Like he could seal him underground, or with mountains of bones, or mosters.
Also I never saw him having insta death immunity (and that attack always hits, it just not always work), and even if he can revive, if ainz turns him into undead first he will not be able to do that as he would lose all his attributes and skills.
He has no skills that would let him pass immunities that Ainz has as Rainhard is super buffed person, so his level is not probably to high. (you can think about him as having many spellcasters putting buffs at him, but Ainz has flat level requirement to get hurt, even if we don t take his normal armor)
So Rainhard can do nothing to any 100 level Nazaric character probably, and despite having immunities in Overlord world immunities are not absolute, and we don t know if blessings are absolute in Re-zero world. Rainhard looks op because people in that world have mild/weak powers.
Turing dead into skeleton is not a curse, it is summoning using material component.
His super speed will not let him dodge anything as he doesn't have infinite speed, just superhuman, like most fantasy characters...
Death attribute is not darkness attribute, and even if it is just 80% resistance, but not some absolute resistance.
He has only one revive
Reinhold was said to be able to destroy the planet and most big spells take way to long to cast reinhold would kill him before he cast anything realistically

Most big spells take within seconds to activate.... All Ainz needs to do is timestop, delay magic and cast the spell...
Or just use his passive skill aura to stomp reinhard...

@Eli D Tappei has contradicted his statements MULTIPLE Times.... The latest update from him is Reinhard cannot survive City level attacks and I believe that.... Reinhard’s canonical feats aren't impressive and doesn't even make him a City Level threat....
Fun Fact ( *No Joke* ): According to the information we have currently, Reinhardt can nearly be beaten in Re zero world. I said nearly coz Tappei has exaggerated the fact that Reinhardt is still powerful without most of his power. In De mi Human war, Sphinx is said to make Magic Circles that prevent divine protections. So basically what that means is that Reinhardt can't use D.P and can't revive if dead. Now the toughness of Sphinx vs Reinhardt in that condition is hard to predict. But that's still something to consider.
Interesting. I can already imagine a couple of entertaining scenarios with that.
Most logical way to beat reinhardt is to robb him of his DP and then kill him
While strong without them due to....plot i guess we know others could beat him in that condition aka regelus or some other arch bischop and cecelius who did loode in the what but did wound reinhard
I've seen certain people try to say that multiple times, but we simply don't know. From how Reinhard works and Tappei talks about him, it's genuinely possible Reinhard would be immune or be able to overcome them.
Reinhard is a special existence within the world where normal rules tend to not apply a lot of the time. We have no idea how the fight would go, so outright assuming it would work is going too far.
reinhard's blessings increases his survivability from 99% to 100% and thats it. they do not make him stronger just give him advantages in certain situations. Reinhard would still kill regulus without his DPs or subaru's help but there would be more casualities. the only DP he actually needs in a fight is phoenix so that he can fight people with cheat abilities since pure strength isn't enough.
@@ogtmz Reinhard wouldn't kill Regulus without Subaru's help. According to Tappei, the fight would just keep on going and it would then be on Reinhard to choose to give up or not since Regulus would never give up.
Well, the fight would look like everyone punching each other while Subaru and Ainz would see what the hell happened here...
I love both series, and what's even funnier, these are only ones I love (with plenty that I just "like"). And maybe it's possible for Ainz to postpone the fight by taking some hostages (just like Subaru did in 'if' route in Priestella) but in a direct fight Reinhart vs Ainz Ooal Gown guild, Reinhart would inevitable win. Having infinite reborns from Phoenix blessing +1 and capabilities high enough to defeat a Sun the only way for him to lose would be to get stripped from his blessings which imo Ainz couldn't do

@@adoredteacher3613 and true death doesn't mean person cannot be resurrected - when Ainz used it on Gazef he said they won't be able to resurrect him unless they use X tier spell (at least in novels he said that).
And even more, we know there's one, only one way for a character to be killed without the option to be reborn - world class item Longinus - permanently destroys all data associated with chosen character, at expense of deleting users data as well. Characters killed by any other way could be resurrected

This is silly. I like both Re: Zero and Overlord with a strong leaning in favor of Re: Zero. The storytelling and character depth/development is significantly better in Re: Zero, but this whole who can beat who from another series is pointless.
When I heard teh Noone can beat the overlord group I immidietly tought "Aqua?" Then I realized "Oh she's still Aqua"
Rein couldn't make it through the desert in arc 6 so I do think a trap like what Betty did with the great rabbit would work. That type of magic should be child's play for Ains
also, the endless corridor beatrice made for subaru in season1 works the same so, reinhardt would lose like that :D

The problem with this logic is that Satella isn't capable of defeating Reinhard and she's the strongest Yin caster, Beatrice to her would be like Davernoch to Ainz.

The desert thing was like a puzzle, Reinhard's intelligence is mid and overall his skills aren't adequate for this type of challenge.
I'm 100% sure that if you were to ask Tappei if Al Shamak could defeat Reinhard he would say no.
Reinhard's "hax" are simply far more extensive than Ainz's. That's precisely the joke when he pulls Cocytus with only one arm and surprizes Ainz with the amount of protections he has in Isekai Quartet.

The cautious hero took down a demon lord that had the power to destroy a planet and he went on to beat another demon that was even stronger than him (her name was Lucifer something). Ainzs classes and race would put him at a disadvantage against either of them

Or heck even a way more easier solution make it so the "Title" of the Sword Saint changes to the next person/generation so the current one loses all his Blessings.

Heck in fact even the phonix blessing of Reinhard takes a few secounds to activate. Use that moment to cast a soul related spell on him when he is just there on the ground and thats it.
The win condition do beat Reinhard is not that hard. But being capable of doing such a thing is a WHOLE DIFFERENT MATTER. After all not everyone has powers to affect/attack/destroy souls
& has enough luck to survive Reinhards attacks in the first place.

Satella vs Reinhardt would end in stalemate. But Reinhardt would technically be powerful, but wouldn't be able to kill Satella only because of her immortality, just like how Reid's battle with Satella ended.
The technical way to reduce Reinhardts power significantly is using Sphinx's magic circle that prevents D.P. That would destroy Reinhardta revive. Though, Tappei exaggerates that he is still powerful.

Then again, Reinhard couldn't even pass through sand time to reach the Pleiades watchtower (mentioned in Arc 5) so I guess it could work. He doesnt seem to have resistance to space-time based abilities given that RbD and Sand time (we can argue if Sand time is magic or not in another time) works on him as well as other authorities (eg. Wrath, Greed, Gluttony)

I guess Reinhard's trump card against Ainz is Dragon Sword Reid (Rezero doesnt have any holy attributes and such, but its said that Sword Reid was blessed by the "Sword God", can cut through anything blah blah blah so I guess thats as close as we can get to a holy weapon). The only thing that keeps confusing me is that Tappei said Reinhard could beat Od Laguna, the source of his divine protections, so lets just disregard it for now.
Ainz can of course just up his holy resistances and just use all the spells in his arsenal (especially space-time based abilities as I established before, Rein doesnt seem to have any resistance to it). Again, theoretically, Reinhard could just nullify magic during and after casting but for the sake of the argument, lets say for some reason, magic just works around him. Ainz will win if space-time magic proves to be effective (since he could just seal away Reinhard), if it doesnt, he just have to resort to World Items where he will also win (strip him off his divine protections and resistances etc.).
I just want to end it by saying that Tappei compared Reinhard to Godzilla in some interviews, I found it somewhat accurate to his feats in the series so im basing his powerlevel to Godzilla (mostly his adaptive/destructive capabilities and possibly plot armor). So to me, its just Ainz vs. Godzilla.

Depiction of Nature in Society puts everyone in a different reality, cutting re zero characters off from od laguna. Thing about magic in re zero, it’s absorbed from od laguna, it’s not inherently stored within people, like mana is in overlord. That’s the main thing really.
Ainz and all floor guardians also have time resist, which means that shit gonna get real weird when Subaru RBD. it’s also really easy to just portal Subaru to an area in nazarick to keep in out of the fight.
Most witches won’t be that difficult, besides echidna. Lust can’t affect anyone, mental magic immunity exists for Ainz’s team. Don’t see the rest as having enough strength to really do anything.
And the killer here is that bc Reinhard doesn’t have od laguna, even though he retains his dragon sword and his beefy stats, he doesn’t have infinite phoenix’s. Which means that a single instant death spell means everyone is dead. As for the regulus, since he’s in a new reality bc of DNS, he won’t get his wives giving him immunity. DNS literally nerfs every re zero character to the ground, they literally lost almost all their magic powers and stuff. Without WI though it’s iffy.
Subaru can still be negated, ship him off to nazarick. Reinhard could probably be sent to the eight floor, which was the key factor to stopping an invasion of 1500 high level (80-100)players and npcs. Around 500 lv 100 players I think. So very very strong. The eight level shit on all of them completely. So if Ainz team holes up Reinhard in the eight level, forces him to fight there, and stall him out until the rest of the re zero gang is done, then focus on him, it might work. A possible way to “defeating” Reinhard is to perma lock him. Instant death magic isn’t really that big of a deal in overlord. If Ainz got enough high level undead and npc mages capable of casting instant death, it would be possible to cast the magic over and over for the rest of eternity, keeping Reinhard in a state of “death”. But that’s iffy. TGOALID with the spell True Death would probably kill reinhard’s soul, preventing resurrection, but I’m not sure of that, so womp womp. Witches are pretty weak outside of echidna. But they don’t have Reinhard level hacks. Regulus isn’t that strong outside of his invulnerability, definitely not strong enough to tango with level 100s. So yeah. Maybe maybe without world items. Definitely with world items.

Reinhard himself said, that he coud not reach the pleades watchtower.

Reinhard's father managed to take Felt hostage and Reinhard was unable to deal with him.
Subaru in the glutony IF abused a simular methord to deal with Reinhard.
Reinhard, with the dragon sword out, failed to kill Emilia in the wrath if, she even said later(full of bloody wounds all over her body), that if she and Subaru run now, no-one will chase after them.
There does indeed exist sourcery capable of weakening his authorities and in this state Emilia/Cecilius level people can give him a run for his money in a fight.
It took quite some time for Reinhard to deal with Sirius.
White whale rampaged in Lagunica for decades and Reinhard did nothing.
Pride if Subary literaly put the whole country on fire and Reinhard did nothing to prevent it.
In arc 6 it was stated, that Echidna could easily conquer "this fragile world" if she wanted.
All in all at the very least it seems to me, that Reinhard is either a secret vilian or he simply lacks speed, ability to teleport/be in two places in nearly the same time and is weak to advanced magecraft.
He is quite weak minded in making crucial decions like "mass hostage" or complicated power fights like with Sirius.
He is……too human and doesn't want to kill people he knows. (The reason he hesitated to kill Emelia)
He couldn't take on the white whale BECAUSE it wasn't near him. There is literally a "Reinhardt law" implimented in every continent so Reinhardt can't move from one place to other. Arc 5 is the only time when he finally gets to go out of luganica
Battle royale scenario (everyone for themselves, no allegiances; only class 2, but adding class 1 does change things significantly), Aqua immediately free casts Holy Major Turn undead taking everyone, especially the cautious Nazarick gang. Shalltear goes down immediately, Ainz is gravely wounded, and Demiurge and possibly Albedo are severely weakened due to being Evil-aligned races and the knock-on effect of the Holy modifier. Megumin's ExplOOOsion!! takes out Tanya's Lieutenants and possibly the rest of Kazuma Party, or at least incapacitating Darkness, making her an easy mark. Tanya aces Megumin while Aura and Mare take out Aqua. Konosuba draws first blood, but is also first to completely fall.
Puck engages Ainz, and Cocytus and Emilia square off. It would be a fairly polite battle, though. Ram and Rem fight against Aura and Mare while Tanya takes out the weakened and injured. Ram, Mare, Demiurge, Rem, Albedo and Aura fall, likely in that order. Ainz eventually wins against Puck, and manages to defeat Beatrice, but is now weak enough for Tanya to defeat. Cocytus barely scrapes by Emilia, but is defeated after some effort by Tanya. She gives a small speech after firing her final shot, but is then struck in the back of the head by a round from one of her own team's rifles killing her instantly. Somehow, Subaru dodged every attack and knew exactly where he'd have to be in order to be the last one standing. Funny how no one ever saw it coming.

TBH Reinhard's cockroach-like nature to survive pretty much any scenario is far more formidable and worrying (Subaru lol) than his ability to launch Kamehameha Spirit Bombs from his giant goofy sword. Even that sword's best quality isn't offense, but the fact that it is _literally_ indestructible. Like space-time bullshit, magic, physical force? Nothing makes a dent in that thing thus far into the series.
I reckon Tappei didn't say "Reinhard would stall Satella" with the mental image of them mud-wrestling in mind. The Dragon Sword is just as durable--- actually it's even more durable than Reinhard. Reinhard can be killed, cut, maimed, etcetera if you can get past his dodge shit, he's just resilient. Reid doesn't dodge, it gets hammered by a thousand different variations of bullshit without a smidge.
So I reckon the issue with Rein vs Ainz is also that neither of them can finish eachother. I'm assuming Ainz is immortal and inexhaustible for this, pardon my ignorance if he isn't.

He has some "op" type of spells like time stop and true death but these only work on low ranking mobs. People like Reinhardt would never get affected. Because Reinhardt is an antimage type of swordsman i dont see how he can lose that. In most situations phys power is more usable in duel than magical.

As said before, Jake failed to explain that the director clarified they were only talking about the rules of Isekai Quartet and not how an actual fight would go, so this doesn't mean anything.
Reinhard being invincible is an essential part of his character, so him being weaker doesn't make him better.
Finally, if you read Tappei's comments, you would know Reinhard being overpowered is a big part of the lore and something that will come into play later in the story.
This is to the extent that Reinhard's perspective of the story itself would be spoilers and cannot be revealed until far later, which means he possesses some sort of knowledge/understanding essential to the story.
I didn't pay too much attention to Isekai Quarter after the first Season simply because I dropped Shield Hero at episode 3 with one look at what might have been best girl of the season (maybe she was... I don't care I'm not spending time to find out) had her design changed, so naturally when Season 2 of the crossover started, I not only didn't follow since I figured I'd have needed to actually know the plot of the 5 source materials to get the jokes (after catching up to the anime in Overlord, I realized some jokes I missed in the first Season, clearly some of the humor is dependent on the viewer's knowledge), but I didn't pay too much attention when they announced a movie. I did actually hear about some recent argument about Reinhard and Ainz's power level. My first thought was just to dismiss it since, again it was related to the movie of a series I already dropped. But it did occur to me power levels didn't matter. Subaru in the Ayamatsu IF destroyed Lagunica on Reinhard's watch. You could argue Reinhard "won" the "fight" since Subaru was wounded and he was chased to a location where he would die and Reinhard was physically unharmed. Or you could say Subaru won since he got everything he wanted out of that confrontation and Reinhard couldn't his job, a view I subscribe to. Subaru isn't super human, he's just an above average strength teenager with no special talents and he still destroyed it under Reinhard's watch. The biggest thing he has going for him is Return by Death, but while that is useful for gaining knowledge, it doesn't allow him to do anything he couldn't physically do already. So if Subaru can destroy the capital on Reinhard's watch, clearly a lich like Ainz can too. Maybe the kingdom should train up some extra regular knights, at least they could provide eyes for their strongest knight and at least they're speed bumps in fights they can't win.

He could wear equipment that nullifies holy damage. In a divine set of gear, you can just nullify an element. Given how his divine robes nullify fire damage. Lucifer or Ulbert’s gear probably has it. If not, Ainz brings out a giant frog and wins.

In theory he could if he wished for it his power comes from od lagna wich is the soul of the world he can revive himself so it should be easy to revive others but I doubt it would ever be necessary enough for the dp to be created.
Because people overhype Reinhard. He doesn't have the power to wish for whatever he wants. He can wish for any known blessing, and he can attempt to ask for a new one. If he asks for a blessing that doesn't exist, he might receive something completely different than what he needed in the first place.
