Love it! I'm on a major Tool kick lately. I basically missed out on most of Tool. I bought Undertow and saw them on that tour, but took a MAJOR musical detour and didn't loop back around to them (save for what I heard occasionally on the radio) until 10K, and then just to see them live once. It's like I'm hearing them for the first time and I'm getting the entire catalog (except Undertow) all at once.
I'm so going to learn this one!

First I watched this and thought it was extremely easy to learn. The next day I watched again with my guitar in hand and got surprisingly frustrated with all the little nuances. Tricky but definitely doable after a few runs.

Anyone have an auto wah recommendation? Wah pedal aight but sometimes just want autopilot
Dunlop 535Q is hands down the best wah, I used to have a really badass DOD envelope filter, that was 20 years ago and I got rid of it for a real wah. It worked based on the attack, the harder you plucked the stronger the Wah effect. Sometimes I wish I still had it!
I notice that you use your ring finger to make the pinched harmonic at 0:27
You are correct! I personally have more control with this approach, especially in songs like Lateralus (ending). But using your thumb edge is the “correct” approach :)

I'm going to throw this out there because I know a lot of people look at this channel. I haven't theslightest idea how to use a DAW. Don't even know where to start. I'm on a PC. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I’m using Reaper. It has a free trial that you could potentially use infinitely. I bought a license though. Very intuitive and has a lot of functionality if you want it. A lot of people are actually switching to Reaper :)
