You know, I've been thinking about Jag, her interviews, and the debate about her mental health. The thing that stood out to me the most: “crazy” is the default response of a narcissist being called out on their gaslighting behavior. And why is that? For two reasons. One, because calling someone crazy is a great way to release themselves of any personal responsibility while, two, simultaneously keeping the spotlight on themselves, indirectly. As soon as the “crazy” word gets thrown into the argument, it's nothing but a smoke screen. The second thing that stood out to me is, nobody consumes the art of a rational, happy, balanced, individual. We don't mind exploiting people with “issues” when it comes to the art they make. In fact, we love it. For the record, I believe Jag. There's no way someone could just, on the fly, make up that many lies that align with what turned out to factual, and remember them. She's too talented to use this as her claim to fame. Also, everything she says about Dallas County jail is true. The names, the mentality of the staff, all %100 true. I can substantiate all of that info. The girl has just had enough.
