Nipsey still owned his publishing and his masters. If you're going to tell his situation then make sure you don't omit the facts and tell everything, not just what makes your argument right. Screaming that he was signed to Atlantic like his real fans don't know that but he was only signed with them for a year, why didn't you tell that part?
