Very good performance steel, confirmed as measured by AAK - knice!
Very nice! Thanks for sharing!
Congrats my boy! You’re over 2k subs 🫡.. great video!
Awesome stuff! I do love my endela in k390. Great video 👍
I carry the Police 4 in k390 today and every day. My fave too!
I've been using a Police 4 k390 fully serrated and its a beast. K390 IS great steel, and it's actually more corrosion resistant than many think. Dry it off after it gets wet and it will be fine.
thx for the shoutout. great reviews as always
Awesome! I really like my k390 spyderco dragonfly and ladybug. Probably one of my favorite steels right now.
I like watching those Rockwall testing videos that apek alchemy does. (Billy) 👍🏻
The rockwell testing isn't so exciting for me, but I'm happy that Billy is enjoying it. I do watch most of them because it is interesting and to support the channel. The way he is going, he is going to have quite a library built up.
Do not feel obliged my brother. We don't watch boring videos either. Watch what interest you. I know you have my back and that's more than a view is worth
Makes me feel even better (somehow) about my leafjumper in K390 65 is a sexy sexy number! Thanks for having them tested
spyderco does a great job- thanks for showing
"Hows everybody doin today?" *Meeeooow*
I do love my K390 Spydies! They do a good job with them!
I love the shape and ergos of the military 2. It just wants to be in my hand
Been watching his vids. Glad to see them. I am with you needing out on the steels
And also great video btw! I have the endela in k390 and love that puppy
Great knife!
I love my spyderco k390 easy to sharpen dont need high grit to get sharp very toothy steel an very tough
Cool 😎
Crazy man. Spyderco makes excellent knifes man. I’ve owned and own many knives but if I can only choose one brand for the rest of my knife, it would be Spyderco. Period. Great vid thx!
can you test h2 stretch xl ?
heard serrations go up to 70hc
but the steel is 55...
no idea tbh and cant find no tests
I can if someone sends it in to me. It will have to go to my tester of course but he is very trustworthy and professional.
There's zero chance H2 goes up that high
Will you be Rockwell testing the manix 2 magnacut. On another channel his HRC tester showed it at only 59.7 HRC. To my knowledge that is a disappointing HRC number for magnacut.
I don't have that one anymore but I will try to find one to test.
The HRC tester he uses is incredibly inaccurate and will show satin blades as softer. True HRC testers dig under finish and a millimeter into the blade matrix. The only real way to know. Measuring the surface of Satin grind lines will slightly cushion titanium ball impacts. Stainless steels will have a varying volume of Chromium Oxide layered across the surface. Technically the ball is contacting completely different mixtures of surface factors that you measure. Especially Magnacut will be skewed.
Ive seen over 5 Manix salts that came 62-63 from the cone of truth. Mine is 62.8
@@quickslashgib5800the tester I use is the tester Latin Thomas uses...next ? 😘
They run the Salt series a little softer for the stainless capabilities to be at their peak efficiency
Awesome man! I'd love to get a rockwell tester for my channel but dayyyum they're high lol maybe if i ever get monetized 😢😂😂
No way I could afford one. Had to send it out to a buddy. And just an FYI, being monetized isn't great for a while. It takes me three months to acquire $100. I've been monetized for a year. Just depends on how successful your videos are and view counts matter!
@nicholasedwardbehindtheedg2343 I appreciate the advice! Hell I'd be satisfied with paying for gaw shipping lol not looking to get rich
Good grief, get to the point!
Yep, like I have said many many times, going to do it however I want, nobody forcing you to watch. You can also fast forward it using little to no effort at all. But thanks for watching nonetheless
