Shima is a great ship, you just need to learn how to use it properly. Which the majority of the player base is simply incapable of doing. Unsurprisingly, considering how low is the skill level of the player base compared to early years...
@@Nighthunter6666 The majority of EU accounts that have gone in-active since 1st/January this year; have been 50+% and a lot of 60+% win rate accounts. So yes, the average WR of currently active accounts on EU has dropped over 1%. I think it’s almost 2%.

It turned into a torpedo!
The real Halford was a Fletcher-class destroyer modified by having a catapult replace her aft bank of torpedo tubes, with the No.3 5-inch mount landed to reduce top weight. The purpose of this one-off conversion was providing destroyer squadrons with an organic aerial scouting and spotting capability, given the obsolescence of the Omaha class scout cruisers. As it was, the plane was difficult to launch and recover except in very calm seas, and radar proved better for gunfire correction than airborne spotters.
If I were to use Halford in WoW, it would be as a pure scout for other destroyers, using the seaplanes to locate (and potentially neutralize) enemy destroyers pushing into cap circles. With its four guns and five torpedo tubes, it should also be able to pick off targets of opportunity, or defend itself (though, with the plane, it should not be easy to surprise).

I guess this ship can drag the float planes next to it while it moves, otherwise, there isn't enough space for these things to be in this ship and have fuel and ammo, plus a crew and mess halls.

You had Halsey and the double strike gave you better concealment - from 6.1km to 5.5km.
Yesterday if I played certain strong ships, I'd have a terrible team every time. Like DDs with a PR below 600 against a team with 1600 plus. Same with CVs. Every time with one of the strong ships the enemy CV would have a PR double that of my team's.
Wait, that enemy Yamato has radio location? Lol.
Next time carry harder ;)
That was always one of my major frustrations with how this game is played. Far too many players play as if capping is always someone else's job.

Win in my book. Professional WOW player points out RNG, suspicious torpedo spreads, games that aren’t possible to win, and losing streak. Yep, win for me because I’ve been saying it for years the game is rigged AND I was entertained!

You could sink low hp sherman, and then focus Mecklenburg,...

A dead ship is a usless one.The quality of the players has dropped enormously. Also, the lack of brain is massive. Play 10 games a day or even more and win 3 or 4% even if your sunken average is 2-4 enemy vessels. Waste of time because WOW is not able to make a classification by value of the players.
3 games in a row? try 6, 8 or 10..
I change ship after the 3rd loss and if I lose another 2 then I just take a break for some time. After that I mostly get few 6-7min win stomps. Fun.
I really dont like any fletcher clones cos of these 5x1 turrets. Dispersion is really shit on single guns. Gearings 2x3 are much better. I was chasing Minegumo in Black and jesus it took so long to kill that just cos of shit dispersion on single turrets. Sherman has same problem, great DPM but single turrets...
This WoWs games starting to look like WoTanks now, MM is trolling good players by matching them with total potatoes. Look at that Shima - worst effort I have ever seen in a DD for a long time. And the BBs all camping useless just stealing kills -pathetic but normal in this game. No matter how bad you try you can't win against the enemy and your team drawing you down by being unreliable SOBs. It's not 12vs12 , it's now 1 vs 23. With this odds no wonder the MM gonna win every time. Now Flambass knows the meaning of Sisyphean Task.
