Is anyone less enthusiastic about the royals than BBC presenter Simon McCoy?

- If you are not gripped by the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at Windsor Castle, you are not the only one. The BBC newsreader Simon McCoy has a nice line in sarcasm when it comes to breaking 'news' from the royal family

Modern Western "news" in a nutshell
I have sympathy for him lol, standing outside a hospital waiting for someone to give birth isn't exactly gripping television. I get if people want to watch the weddings and that, but I have absolutely no interest in the private lives of the royal family, or many people to be honest.
Having to stop what hes doing just to say that someone might be giving birth is a pisstake as well
@@joesinclair8910 can definitely think of worst jobs to do for his paycheck though
He should just do the job he's being paid to do.
It's interesting to many, but, rightly, not to him.
I kinda find it hard to have sympathy for him when he's probably being paid a six figure salary to stand outside a hospital.
"I know what she looks like, Sarah"
Yeah, we know, we heard him say it
@Captain Kirk Speak for yourself, you Svidrigailov!
Haha! When you are over being nice to your Co workers😂
I liked that too, refreshing to hear in the moment, but really to be fair she wasn't describing her looks but her gear.
Sarah, help me!
I'm just glad there's someone out there who happily publicly exhibits their disinterest in the monarchy, sometimes I feel so alone in this regard 😂.
Ur not trust me
Ditto: An anachronistic irrelevance!
You are not allone, I am with you although I am not British so I might not count.
Would it be uninterest rather than disinterest? I think all news reporters are disinterested in the Royals.

Not really luxurious for a while. He was smuggled from his home country to a foreign nation in a crate and fought in a war. Not very luxurious that.

Well, quite convenient that youtube decided to recommend this to me.
Weddings, births, deaths etc. involving the royal family are as interesting to me as similar events in all the other British families I don't know - i.e. not at all. I think many (most?) Brits feel this way. It would be nice if the media could reflect this.
