I'm about 30 minutes away from.the BOTD and 2hrs away from the part of WV you rode. And yes, we are thankful for these beautiful roads and hills that God had blessed us with. I rode across the dragon Sunday evening in fact. I'm glad ya'll enjoyed the trip.
Yes, what a blessing to live in such a great area! Glad you are able to get out & enjoy it. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Virginia & West Virginia. We can’t wait to go back & want to spend more days next time. There are so many things we would like to see!
It is AMAZING how beautiful America really is when one is away from the populated areas. That is why I live where I do. It's not east Tennessee or west Virginia but living in the Shawnee National Forest of deep Southern Illinois is pretty dang close!!!
Agree! We were just talking about this. There is so much beauty in the US & awesome places in every state! We are blessed to be able to travel & explore to some of it.
I love driving thru West Virginia on Hwy 19 between I-77 to I-79. Gorgeous road thru the mountains. It's a 4 lane highway but the views are wonderful.
This was our first adventure to WV & we will definitely be going back!

We rode from Blowing Rock to the New River Gorge via the Back of the Dragon last Wednesday (19th June) then up to Martinsburg WV, a total just under 600 miles....great roads and scenery

On Maine’s 2&3 lane highways there are signs” keep right except when passing” and your bike is communal, everyone uses it. I think I’m headed down Virginia way late October. I did the tail now I’ll do the back.

One of my favorite rides is coming out of fayette Station especially if there's no traffic it is like my on lil mini tt lol and gauley mtn,Cottondale, sewell man all good rides

I live in the Tri-state area where WV, KY & OH meet. The thing that I don't like about riding in WV is to get to the "good" roads, you have to get on that constantly busted up/constant construction highway.
I just gave up.
