This show was created 17 years ago. It's amazing how the original cast can still get together (virtually, or course) to do stuff like this!
I love how nicky is just vibing in his bedroom with a pride flag, ballons and a suit singing and Rod is just slowly shaking and getting closer to the camera 😂😂😂
I think the most impressive part about this is that either Rick or John has said that they couldn’t hear each other’s parts or see each other while filming this and it still came out so well
It wasn't actually on zoom. Its just two videos.

Yup, totally shot these independently of each other. Just hoped it would cut together - and it worked pretty well! Editor did a great job!

I love this song, it’s so funny!! my favorite part is the ending when Rod yells “I AM NOT GAY!!!!” And Nicky concluded “If you are gay.” 😂😂😂

I just keep watching this, but just noticed the difference on how the foam attached to the mouthplate in the two puppets. Rod has a much sharper lipline than Nicky.
All of Rod is more angular than Nicky. That's a deliberate design choice. :)
@@TheLyonPuppets now that I see it, it totally makes sense for the characters. It's just something subtle I hadn't noticed before and something to keep in mind as I dabble with building my own puppets. So thank you for making me more conscious of my own hobby.

Peter Linz was in Avenue Q and he's Ernie now, Rick only filled in occasion for Jim Henson as Kermit, though he has assisted Jim with Ernie at certain points during his tenure on Sesame Street.

I can't count how many times I watched this musical when it came out here in Manila. Love this show. Its funny but has emotional and political undertones. I miss this show.
