I would like to say that i had a zooming issue with this camera, when i have spoken to the support team they have fixed it, they asked me for the log in password and within 24 hours, the problem was solved, it was professional handling and a great way to help me out with this issue. Thank you guys

Set-up 8 cameras with a 4tb NVR. Works great, but I'm having a hard time finding any kind of information whatsoever about the audio aspect of these cameras (RLC-842A). Please advise, and thank you.

There are two wires that go from the inside of the main part of this camera to the dome. One wire is obviously to the microphone that is housed in the dome. But I cannot tell the purpose of the other wire. Is it a ground wire? The reason I ask is I had to move this wire and amusing it is a ground, I simply attached it to one of the three screws that attaches the dome to the main body of the camera. If it is a ground then it will still work as a ground in its new location. But if this wire has another purpose it would be good to know what that wire does.

Does the camera require a SD card to save the footage to an asustor nas with FTP?

I know it’s reflected in the price, but what a horrible way to connect it to a network. Now you need a giant hole in the ceiling to hide all the wires, or just let them hang there. Why not have the ethernet port inside the housing, preferably with the opening on the top as to completely hide all traces of a wire?

We would record and forward your request to the R&D team to seek possibilities. Thanks for bringing this up. :)

Yes, someone would easily have direct access to your network if the cable is hanging there. They could plug in a computer and access all your network storage etc. Is there a solution for that risk?

@@andtime4918 It would be better to use a junction box to hide the wires inside, which is waterproof and safe.

What TP Link model do you recommend to use for 4 x RLC-842A? What model is used in this video?

There is no limit for the router.
Because the camera was connected to the POE switch/POE injector via network cable and the POE switch/POE injector was connected to the router via network cable.

Our cameras support T-568B connectors and CAT5, CAT6, and CAT7 with 8 PIN Ethernet cables. Refer to support.reolink.com/hc/en-us/articles/12963787551769-Getting-Started-with-Ethernet-Cable/?slug=accessory&search=ethernet%20cable. Thank you.

      answer from reolink support:
When you adjust the angle of the lens, the side IR lights might be hiden by the cover shell.
And there will be a reflection.
