I never thought that my RS3 Pro will be outdated by a newer version. But I have to admit that DJI did - again - their homework and crushed it! That snowboard scene almost looks unreal, so stable it is! Really like how they develop already good features to another level.
I couldn't have put to words better than you just did. RS3 is still amazing, but some features just really do it for me on this one!
the Teflon and vertical mode seems like what will make this upgrade worth it haha. I was about to buy a discounted RS3 and for 100€ more this seems worth it

the extended battery is a huge plus for wedding videographers as we shoot for 8-12 hours and depending on the weight of the rig and accessories you could shoot potentially 7-8 hours.

Curious how this compares to my rs2 pro
The least needed upgrade as I have a rs3 with a vertical attachment purchased sperately. Upgrading because of Teflon and hoping stabilisation is even smoother.
I really like the teflon feature. The arms now glide instead of bump when stabilising!

Unfortunately I cant say. You can do lowmode however.. So it shouldnt be a problem.

Hey can I get your input. I have a FX30 and Sigma 70-200mm and I want to mount it on the RS4, can I replace the base plate for the gimbal to get the lens to fit it and balance well?

Hey Sjoerd which gimbal would you use for Tamron 35-150 and ZV-E1? Regular RS4 or do you think RS4 Pro would have more stable footage?

I have a small rig monitor mount accessory from ronin rsc2. Can I still use it on ronin rs4?
I think so yes. All the arms and such are the same sizing

God I wish people weren’t so afraid to be honest about products. This is a marginal upgrade to the RS3 lineup. Not that there’s anything wrong with that at a time when we’re fortunate enough to have easy consumer access to incredible equipment already but ffs what is the deal with CZcamsrs talking up this shit to sell the latest and ‘greatest’. If you have an RS3 or even a 2 there’s likely to be little reason to upgrade. If you don’t have a gimbal the chances are that saving £200 and getting a bargain on an RS3 is more valuable to you at this point in your career.
Have you watched to the end at all?
Hard to say this is the last gimbal you will need. Here are some possibilities: RS5 will have self balancing, RS6 will have a 4th axis

I remember making fun of people for shooting vertical because it was just sheer laziness. now entire industries are built around shooting vertical. its bizarre
Luckily they incorporate it and not force us. We used to call this VVS: Vertical Video Syndrome. LOL
Why the hell CZcamsrs are all holding their Rode Go microphone? There's a clip on the back for a reason. Doesn't look serious for a person building a channel based on video tech... Or maybe invest in a lavalier mic? You guys can find decent ones for only 30 bucks.
I feel you. My friends mentioned it as well. I agree. BUT, it safes a LOT of time and it sounds a million times better when holding the mic to your mouth. It lowers the barrier to record when a lot is going on in your life outside of CZcams.
Ill make the effort and put a lav or shotgun somewhere. Promised

I think the mic feel cool on your hands I get like a more close or “personal” touch when talking with the mic on my hands, I don’t get why someone would get distracted bothered because of that.

My apologies. Im balding, so rather wear a cap or beanie and naturally wear black when walking around a camera. An 'rule' when working on set. But yea, I feel you. A lot of people on CZcams have the same style.
