Sounds good! I have a similar setup DC Sport shorty header/Megan test pipe/Borla Catback. I think the Borla maybe has just a little less raspy sound but it's also almost 3x the price.
I don't know if you properly addressed the leaking issue after this but just so we are all tracking it wasn't an exhaust systems failure, deficiency.I noticed you supported the exhaust system correctly, but I think you began to tighten the bolts up around the flanges to early and maybe unevenly at the mid pipe resulting in an uneven alignment at the axle-back flanges creating a leak as noticed, start at 5:00. Remember to hand tighten the whole system first for precise alignment then go in and tighten everything up. Sounds awesome though dude, I definitely would consider a Yonaka exhaust system for mine.
Alejandro Almodovar yeah I realized It had something to do with how I aligned it. I didn't pay much attention at first. What I did was take it apart and align the pipes properly, put some gasket maker where I felt it was needed and the leak went away.
To install the doughnut gasket on the exhaust manifold, you should take a wood block and lightly tap around the doughnut gasket and push it onto the manifold until it sit flush
The J Media will do thanks anyway, I plan on getting one but no disrespect to the guy in the video I shared but I think it sitting that far before the bumper looks terrible. I’m not sure why his set up is different but for most people it’s fine so I’m good with it.
I have an 04 rsx type s and i have the CEL on for my crankshaft sensor, which i replaced but didn't help so i bought a new one. My car is very slow, it bucks and doesn't do past @3000 rpms. I can only go 65 max. The car worked perfectly fine and just started doing so recently, was wondering if i could get any help on how to fix it? Or could it just be the crankshaft sensor?
Yes, I got mine from k series parts. It worked great but I had to cut my catalytic converter heat shield a bit .You can do it easily with some cheap metal cutters.
@@Xsnys404 hey bro so i just got installed today my test pipe but now i feel like a lose of power or pressure between 2300rmps and 3000rpms is no that big but you can notice it a little bit when you rev smother in second gear, how i said i just have Injen CAI and megan racing test pipe, stock header, stock exhaust, what you think it could be ? Thanks!
Jay my favorite, which is also my current setup, is the HKS 65mm catback with a skunk2 alpha race header, not gonna be ebay price cheap like the yonaka tho
Hey ive had my yonaka catback exhaust for about 5 months now and im noticing its kind of chirping and making a light squeal when i have my ac on while idling or when im downshifting coming to a stop. Have you had any problems like that with yours?
Sayyid tha hks was ok at first then just gets on my nerves. I appreciate Post in the video this is one of the best sounding exhaust ive hurd for a type s. are u runnin an aftermarket header also?

TheFeistyGamer thank you, I liked the Yonaka because it was cheap and quiet but still loud enough for me.

love this sound dude, def getting this exhaust soon!
Sounds soooooooooooooooooooooooo much better!!!
Yessir!
Sounds good man! I used to have a yonaka Motorsports exhaust on my EK Civic and now just put one on for my RSX!
I’ve noticed that they end before the bumper or seem a little short, was this the case for you?
@@jdm68 The tip of my exhaust lines up just right with the bumper. If you're wanting it to stick out a little bit then it doesn't do that
@@TheJMedia I like the flush look, I only asked because of this: czcams.com/video/EUInX_SZIRE/video.html
@@jdm68 Ahhh I see mine wasn't like that. You can check my Instagram @jus_tyn for some photos and DM me if you have questions too

The yonaka exhaust still good trying to get ones and I need some recommendation
Ewer Garcia get it. It's the best one for the price and it didn't drone

jumped timing replace timing chain
Did you have to use any extension for the o2 sensor to prevent the CEL coming on? like a defouler
Yes I used an L shaped defouler. I don’t have the car anymore but I recall getting one for it.
@@trackaholic I have a TSX and will probably do the same. No CEL with the L shaped defouler?
@@DilianMitev none at all so you should be good as well.
@@trackaholic Thank you!!!
sounds amazing!
Solid job
I'm getting a hissing noise from 4500rpm full throttle after installing the exhaust. Is it exhaust leak?
Fronk G most likely, try autozone, they have something like gasket sealer that should help wit any leaks, I’d also check the alignment of ur exhaust
Nice video. Did the donut gasket fit in between the exhaust manifold and test pipe?
Glass blunt in door sick
Hey i have a type s 06 if i get the test pipe i can install it with my stock exhaust and headers right?
Yes the test pipe works for any type s.
Said Estrada also i have to buy the angle CEL eliminator for the check engine light right ?

was just wondering what you had before hand
I was wondering, too.
What kinda exhaust was that at the 16 second mark
Are you running stock headers? What size in diameter is the test pipe? I wanted to get one too but wasn't sure if it'll fit stock headers.
x.kengaroo I've got stock headers so if you get the test pipe from kseriesparts.com you should be fine. I'm not sure what the diameter is though.
Yonaka definitely isn’t close to best exhaust lol
BucketBryce yes it is.. for the rsx at least
What is the best?
You guys are tripping, I’ve had many exhausts including yonaka but best can be 2 different things, sound or power, both of which the yonaka sucks at
Jay my favorite, which is also my current setup, is the HKS 65mm catback with a skunk2 alpha race header, not gonna be ebay price cheap like the yonaka tho
The best exhaust system is the hks high power for the RSX with SRS racing header
Where you buy the yonaka exhaust
is there any cabin noise? how's the drone?
Zack E it's not bad at all at high rpms it's really deep and loud when the rpms are going down though.
Does the base and type s have a different sound tone or would it all be the same?
L I've never heard the base with this exhaust. I would say they would be about the same though
Great video man, can I get the link of the seller or just the product it’s self please
Thanks! You can get the exhaust here www.yonaka.com/Yonaka_Acura_RSX_Type_S_Catback_Exhaust_System_p/ymcb-rsx-s.htm
Sayyid thank yu bro I’m getting it fro my Acura for sure :) one more question bro what coils do u have on ur car
Rise Gaming you won't regret it! In this video I had stock shocks and Comptech springs.
Sayyid where did you get the springs ? I wanna lower my car but not to much because I go to through many bunps

Yeah I do have a slight chirp when Idling but it's not very loud. It's coming from the muffler area.
Is this exausht droney at all ?
Should of got a blast pipe/ no muffler
where did you get the tail lights bro I can't find them anywhere. not even on eBay
EddieMerc it's a vinyl cut out that goes over the amber.
Nice video sounds great!
Your rear Honda emblem isn’t centered, it’s too low. It’s a 3M one huh?
is the mid pipe too low?
Anthony Granados not to me.
Anthony Granados shit will hit bumps
Damn those headers look like they are hella restrictive
StainnlessPlays they were stock
Old one was better i think.
Hey man can you show me where you bought this thanks
What's up. I got it from amazon
Sayyid for how much bro
GlitchHound Gaming 279
Did your cel come on from installing the test pipe?
base or s? sounds like tha a2.
Type S
Thought so. Sounds good. im getin tired of my hks high power on my S.
