You didnt talk about the holidays and summer you get paid days off and you also didnt mention if you have good work life balance do you have to take work home or do you leave your work at work and when you didnt have your baby how much readers advisory like reading books to recommend did you get to do do you have time or did you have time to read alot of books to recommend? Sorry if i asked to many questions

Do you have a library aide that works with you? I am interested in being a library aide in a school and would like to know more about what they do.

Well, it's kind of a long story. We did have a full-time library aide before I became the librarian. Then, the year I started, they hired a lady to be a half-day library aide and half-day technology aide to help our school technology coordinator. She shares an office with me in the library, but now she has so many other duties that she really isn't a library aide anymore. She is our school's social media coordinator and yearbook advisor. She also helps athletics with random stuff. She does try to help me with library things when she can, but my student aides are my main helpers now. I think it's really different in every school.
