- Welcome back fellow rippers and riders! I have another beautiful ride to take you all on today. Today, I went on a sunrise ride to Old Oatman Highway, still part of beautiful Route 66. This ride has a total of 191 turns with zero guard rails, pretty intense right? The temperature was perfect and I was the only one on the road once again. Enjoy the ride! 🤠😁

Did that drive from oatman in December, unfortunately in a car. All I could think of was how awesome it would be to be on my bike. Trying to do that this year. Nice video!

That pavement looks worse every year. Mohave County doesn't maintain it for shit from rough pavement to pot holes to tar snakes. Good thing you are riding before the tar snakes get hot and soft and make the ride even more tedious.
Yeah it’s a sketchy little road. In Mohave counties defense, they just finished all new roads along the 95 and now starting to get all new roads finished in Bullhead.

What is with the extra throttle blips when you are coasting. Are you checking to see if it's still running or do you have to double clutch it for the next gear?
It’s just me rev matching when downshifting into a turn. There was 191 turns on this ride, so I was rev matching alot lol.
@@lukeluna7 "rev matching" is the same process as "double clutching". This was done on vehicles before syncro-mesh transmissions went into production in the 50s.
@@jamescampolo7824 It’s actually not the same process as rev matching. Although there is rev matching involved in double clutching it’s not the same. You cannot double clutch a bike. A double clutch in a vehicle for example: down shifting from 4th to 3rd, you’d clutch in from 4th, blip the throttle very quickly, and shift to neutral, then clutch in a second time, blip the throttle, then very quickly shift into 3rd. This is the process of a double clutch, hence the name.
