Cheers mate, just finished painting my Tomahawk with your suggestions. I can tell you, she came out a beauty. I didn’t use the driver figure so I smoked the clear panels. Nice😊.

Yeah, it's a beauty! Very cool colour, for sure! I've done it with blue, green and also red transparent, but I've backed with gunmetal, gives a really deep dark shine to it. It's a cool buggy, looks great in the sunshine, I'll be looking forward to seeing a running video, too.

@@ShenRC color choice is great…. I was thinking of that color but using the decals as masking on the inside so that I can back with chrome paint where the white decals would normally be

They made the front window mask wider so the black frame stickers on the outside border direct to the window later (without the body colour in between). It's kind of ensurin the paint job will work in every case. But it's also very confusing. And you have to adjust them from the middle of the window without any orientation points, which is a little bit annoying.
Yeah I figured that out afterword's but it is kind of weird. The color is stunning I love it! Thanks for watching.

reason for paint spots is , the paint can needs a shake for a very good 5 mins so the ball bearing inside mixes the paint properly
Hi yeah I did shake it good..to be honest I think when I was talking some saliva sprayed out and hit it and caused the dimples. 😁Thanks for watching.

Lovelly!!! I've seen it's still a bit transparent on the sides... Would you consider adding a final white or black layer?
Hi thanks, I backed it with copper color. I did not want to use black or white because it would mess up the candy effect of the paint. Thanks for watching.

Nice 👍 Have fun with it, I think I show mods for the chassis your building it has a funky problem with one side of the rear suspension and one side don't compress up as much as the other side and I have a mod to fix that. Thanks for watching.

Nice colour, but I'm not a fan of the translucent paints as I have had issues with them. Now for the run in the sun :-)
