  • Luke gathers the clan to tell them he has decided to go to rehab in the morning. Lucky is skeptical & says he should go tonight. He speaks to Luke alone & when they argue, Luke hits him. He calls Tracy & ask her to take him to rehab tonight. Once there he offer to "buy the counselor a drink".

Remember when gh used to build a story and let a scene play it out for 5 minutes or so without cutting them off at 2

When a man can strike his own child, it is time to own up and get help...

Omg Tracy is not right for Luke. There is only Luke and Laura.

Even though this is good acting, luke never had the magic with Tracy like he did with Laura. Luke always tried to protect his family but when the cassidines showed up it was the end and when laura said why do I feel like nothing will ever be the same again she was right.

That couldn't be any more wrong. Same freaking room as they had Laura in. I'd drink too! Music had a ring of Luke and Laura to it. Just so wrong - hate it!

When they see a glass and it is half full left by someone else on a table, and they think in their mind; "Why would you leave it, how could you walk away from it." When no matter how much they consume it takes more to reach that plain of numbness. When they are blind, deaf and dumb to the pain they inflict each and every moment, of each day, each week, each month, and then years. The sound of his fist making impact on human flesh, sound of his boot as he kicks repeatedly the still and sobbing figure lying prone at his merciless feet. If not his wife, then one of his children. Sometimes several of us would distract him in different directions to lead him away from his current victim, the others would then take that one away and tend to wounds, and bruises. He was never sober, until the divorce, about a year after the papers said it was official, she was free and so were his children. We had visitation and it was like being with a stranger, this man who never took a drink, constantly on edge, on guard, waiting for the trigger. Another 6 months and he was gone, he died on the only job I had ever known him to hold down. I have both good and horrible memories, I learned who I did not want to be, I am still learning who I want to be. It did not die with him for some of his children are in his image, most are not. The choices we make, the path we walk, none of it is easy.

Why I'm so glad Guza is gone, he ruined the Spencers and most of GH!

Actually it was the short term head writer Garin Wolf who ruined the Spencers. He's the one who turned them all into chemically dependent arsonists, and in Lucky's case, a crybaby who abandoned his kids on Christmas Eve.
Then those two idiots from One Life To Live took over the show and wrote the worst exit storyline ever for THE single most important character in General Hospital history (all due respect to Steve Hardy, but Luke drove far more storylines than he ever did). Then they made Lulu a vegetable and continued to exile Lucky forever. The entire Spencer family is virtually extinct thanks to Frank Valentini & his former sidekick ReRon.

I don't think GH has changed that much since Guza had left, although to GW's credit, I think he had a lot to do with Luke's intervention and the Spencer stuff, which IMO was far better than what GH is cooking up now.

Zelda Z his downward spiral started when he was with Laura, it was a slow decline. Remember when Nikolas first showed up punishing an innocent teenager for the crimes of his father, burying the fact that he’d raped Laura, making his wife have to choose between loving her husband or her son, he came back a man on the edge of lashing out barley able to contain himself.
