I traded a squire affinity Strat hh for one and I like the neck on the Yamaha much better. Squires are great but the Yamaha just played a little better to me.😊
When I bought my Pacifica in, I think, 1995, it has a clear finish to show off the fact they were using real wood and not plywood like the FMIC competition at the time.
Great value guitar. Doesn’t appeal to many sadly.
I just got one of these used, and I LOVE it!! And I've been playing for over 20 years, so it's not for beginners lol. Great quality for the price, I'll say that much. I WAS going to "tweak it" some, but after playing it awhile, I'm leaving it alone and just enjoy playing it.

Just a pleasure to hold and admire for the workmanship and sheer scientificly arrived at, player advised, master craftsmanship.
It's an accurate representation of a 65 stratocaster with an Eddie Vanhalen inspired double humbucker.that would not be without Eddie's genius influence on the entire musical realm.
I really like the coil split and the vintage sounding pups along with the skinny maple neck and lovely figured rosewood fretboard.
I have smaller hands so this neck is perfect for me.
Was perfect out of the box. I'd get another just like it as a spare if I was playing it out.

Got a 90's Pacifica 112 for peanuts some years ago. Alder body, perfect 22 fret neck. Not so great pickups. My son practices on it, and it's great for that.
Pickups are Alnico or Ceramic??

How did you find a Raspberry Red PAC112V??? I tried to order one a couple of years ago, but Yamaha told me they stopped making them! I had to get the 612 to get a red Pacifica!
from my country they only have this red one, I have to get the 212v for the black color

This thing screams 90s to me. It doesn’t scream “vintage.” That’s silly to me.
90s angles/look. 13.5” radius, humbucker, coil split, knobs and pick guard and body shape that don’t exist on any vintage guitars.
