I’m on my 8th session of Ketamine. It has completely changed my life for the better! My dad committed suicide when I was 5 and shortly after that, I watched my mom get raped by 2 of her drug dealers. I was never okay after that. Since I started ketamine, I’m excited about life every day! It’s an absolute miracle! It’s the greatest gift I’ve ever been given ❤️

Thank you Dr. Wakim & Dr. LaPlante. I just wish it was easier to be able to get this treatment, with and without insurance.

I'm a provider and received Ketamine Infusions IV and now at home. You can get at home treatments which are sent to your home, sublingual (under the tongue) or nasal for less than $400 for a month of treatment. This is less than cost of an infusion, includes the MD, prescriber, staff. The reason is the prescription of Ketamine is typically $30. Im a licensed provider in 10 states and it is more of a cure than anything I have seen by far. PTSD/OCD/Treatment Resistant Depression in me and better than I have ever been in 20 years.

_"Even the most unhappy of experiences, shall we say, which seem to occur in the Catalyst of the Spirit of the adept, seen from the viewpoint of the spirit, may, with the discrimination possible in shadow, be worked with until light equaling the light of brightest noon descends upon the adept and positive or service-to-others illumination has occurred._
_The service-to-self adept will satisfy itself with the shadows and, grasping the light of day, will toss back the head in grim laughter, preferring the darkness."_
      Ra Material (1981)
_in our dimension, my friend, it is often the seemingly negative things which are helpful to us -- if we can make light of them. The darker the darkness, the brighter the light. It is a call to the being which resides in you. The Kingdom of Heaven is within. Nothing can cover it, just as no cloud can affect the sun in its ever shining. It's a cloud. See how easily it brushes aside with the wave of your hand. While things that may seem positive end up being harmful to us. The key is to look at each experience of Life as a gift. For such it is. It is our judgment that an experience is negative that causes pain. An exercise in achieving connection to intelligent infinity, you may be instructed to forgive in your heart the person and the situation that seems most impossible to forgive. Once this has been achieved, you will realize that all situations in life are equal. All things are handled in the same exact way. This makes it rather easy. This is a spiritual way of seeing life. That there is no order of difficulty in miracles. Bad things seemingly happen to good people because they are lessons in love, light and forgiveness. Peace be to you. You have the power. Turn not away from the light, for it is in our weakness the Creator makes us strong._

There have been several comments asking whether Medicaid, Medicare, or private insurance companies will pay for ketamine infusions. The answer is determined by which state you live in. Some states have Medicaid expansion and you can find doctors in those States where you can get 100% of the procedure paid for. Other states don't have full Medicaid expansion so you will have a copay. I don't know how much that would be. Other states Medicaid pays nothing. It's definitely worth investing your time to figure out how the rules work in your state. If you have a good relationship with your doctor's office that would be where I would start. Otherwise, call your primary insurance provider. Expect it to take several days to get a straight answer. Ketamine is relatively new for depression.
I live in Maine and 100% of my treatments and transportation to them are paid for. A friend in Arizona gets nothing paid for.

Of course I'd had a Major Surgery for a brain aneurysm so my experience afterwards was dramatically different but...I can definitely relate to this man's experience with Ketamine induced state of mind. Very interesting.

With the help of a wonderful doctor, I managed to finally get off Methadone. The process took 9 months. However, within 6 weeks I gained 18 pounds and my energy, spirit, attitude and zest for life just went down the tubes. I'm about to embark on an in-home Ketamine protocol. I understand that that oral use of Ketamine is the least effective way to ingest it. but I'm still very hopeful that I will get positive results. Take care and be well.

I'm supposed to start ketamine troches soon (Really low dose). I have bad dizziness most of the time and, wondering if anyone noticed if ketamine has helped with that? I have TRD / GAD and some SSRI meds would take away almost all of my dizziness. (For me, it's definitely related to anxiety). The effects don't last but a month and, I'm back to feeling really dizzy.
What I'm hoping is if I start out slow, the dizziness will go away. From there, I'd be able to handle to take higher doses. Has anyone else had issues with that and it made them less dizzy? That's what I'm most worried about. It's hard to find someone with those specific issues. I'm running out of treatment options. (Tried meds/TMS/therapy)
