For anyone who doesn't know all of the history behind this lake it's very dangerous for anyone to go there. It's not simply just a haunted lake it's a very prominent part of black history and is where a mass of black families were forced to leave their homes and businesses. The man-made lake was later built on top of the land but there are still many racial controversies surrounding this lake. Every year the lake claims more lives because of more and more people visiting there. Some say it's due to the alleged ghosts but it's also due to the carelessness of others. Even though i dont condone it please be careful and respectful if anyone reading this chooses to visit in the lake ❤.
But is it only dangerous for people going into the water? Or just like what they are doing is dangerous? What can happen?
thanks for the mini history lesson! i find that a lot of prominent landmarks in this country tend to carry a dark history that negatively impacted marginalized demographics, whether it be Black people, Native-Americans, etc. I know Central Park, formerly known as Seneca village, is another example of this, unfortunately.
I'd say a lot of places in the south and lots of places in the world have had bad things happen.
People die because they may get caught on whatever is under the water. A whole town is below there so it would be easy to get caught on something.
It also was lived on at one point by the indigenous.

The history of this lake is really dark - what they did to the black residents that lived there was horrible and I definitely think there are haints that linger there... ya'll be careful and read up on the history. It's actually really heartbreaking

it would probably be better to turn it into a historical landmark, with plaques about the history instead of fencing off the entire area and ignoring it
give people a chance to read and learn about the terrible things people did in the past

People who were unalived in such a horrible way should be honored & visitors should have an opportunity to pay our respects. Of course their is dark spiritual energy on that land with that history.
People acknowledging what happened & the victims would be a first step in healing the land & allowing the spirits to finally Rest In Peace 😢💔

I needed this. I had a procedure and had to be at the hospital at 530 this morning. Been in pain. Puffy all over for some reason. My lady parts were basically invaded and snipped around on for biopsy and d&c for the horrendous periods I’ve had. Such intense cramps
