One thing I'm fairly certain won't be addressed is exactly how aware is the government (and the rest of the Earth in turn) of the Crystal gems and Homeworld. Now that Steven and other gems are more consistently traveling on and off-planet, you'd assume that some humans would notice and question what is going on.
Steven Universe doesn't have a strong central government from what we have seen. On the map of stevens planet, we can see that a large part of Africa is missing, which likely affected the slave voyages to Africa that lead to the slave trade, meaning there was no slave trade in Steven's world. This meant that the union had no reason to go to war with the confederacy and never established their power of the individual states, issues were to be handled on a state by state basis because there was no strong federal government to ever address the issues.

The sapphires probably depicted Steven as Rose because they saw his gem in their visions and assumed he was Rose! And they depicted the rest of the crystal gems as those weird things that all looked the same because as far as they were concerned, it was just Rose's army!

funtime freddy i dont know that seems kind of complex. And I think in the show theres only blue saphires but i may be wrong. And the mural job if done by saphires was probabky done by many saphires to ensure the accuracy of it.
For Greg’s hair, it’s definitely possible for him to have lost that much hair in however many months Rose had left in her pregnancy. He knew she was “dying” so it had to have been stressful. Plus the idea of raising a child on his own (yes I know the gems helped but he had no way of knowing that’d be able to given that they didn’t know anything about babies) adds even more stress. Steven imagining him with hair is also very possible because Steven and Connie imagined the entire backstory of that one character who wanted to discover things on his own. The even imagined Amethyst with Greg’s long hair which we know she had short hair until she met Greg.

The resource shortage seemed to be the fluids obtained from diamond in extraction chambers. Rebecca Sugar confirmed that those fluids are used in injectors. The shortage was probably just referring the lack of pink fluids.
They were also lacking whites fluids as well, since she was also in her head for a Millenia, so only blue and yellow were making gems in era 2...peridot was able to get her metal powers when she used Stevens tooth brush...imagine what she could do if she came into contact with white diamonds extractions.

I doubt its white diamond. From what i can tell, white didn’t come anywhere near earth until the corruption. It could be a major officer or other warrior in the imperial army. We hear a lot of talk about agates and how scary they are. I’d bet the mural is a depiction of a major battle between Rose, the grand leader of the rebellion, and the champion warrior of the imperial gem army, Opalized White Agate. The item that Rose is using could easily be an artifact of some kind or an odd configuration of her shield. We’ve seen Steven make some cool stuff with his bubble after all. Any thoughts on my theory?
That explanation causes problems. Why would there be a mural depicting Rose as Pink Diamond if nobody but rose and her pearl knew, and if that is what it's depicting then wouldn't Rose or Pearl think to destroy any evidence that would point towards this truth? Them leaving that there would be a huge risk and probably something they'd come across eventually considering how long they've been on earth and wouldn't someone else find that place eventually and come to the same conclusion you did? otherwise, it makes them look stupid for not catching on. It just doesn't make narrative sense.
Some more questions: 1. Why do the Homeworld gems all speak English. They have a different writing system, so it's probably not their native language. And they couldn't have learned it before the war ended and they all went back home because that was thousands of years ago. 2. Who were the "knights" that the gems encountered thousands of years ago as mentioned in the episode... I've forgotten which one. 3. What happened to Asia, in particular the northern part?

Gem kind probably spoke english first and taught it to man. When rose first went to earth, humans were somewhat primative(it's probably more likely that people had a language that they abandoned for the gem's english rather than them having no language in the first place and adopting english but either is possible.) The mural is probably a representative of Rose’s forces fighting Homeworld’s forces (represented by White Diamond). Rose seems to be deflecting a pink diamond sent forth by White Diamond (or Homeworld) which represents Rose shattering Pink Diamond and repelling her influence on Earth when she was sent there by White Diamond. All of the hands are probably the hands of all the gems in the Cluster. This scene could be representative of all the imprisoned and shattered gems reaching out to attack White Diamond and free themselves after being imprisoned in the Earth’s crust. Idk if they’re reaching out towards WD in anger or begging her for mercy. The giant penny/Batman reference references how, like Bruce Wayne, Rose also lived two separate lives, with her being Pink Diamond being hidden from the public.

Well, we probably never will because there's no way that the cartoon will show Rose's lady parts. But it does seem strange. At what point does Rose cease to exist? When does the gem leave her body and embed itself in Steven's body? She still had her gem while she was pregnant so therefore Steven had a little fetus body at that point that couldn't have had a gem (unless his stomach was smooshed up against her stomach so that they could share or something).

The reason yellow and blue aren't there might be symbolic or they hadn't had thought of blue and yellow having the same ability yet. And the figures behind rose is a symbol of garnet and pearl, and the hands are the diamond hands when shooting the corruption beam. That's my theory at least!

The resource shortage is sublety explained in "Familiar", where we see the Diamonds' extractian chambers extract a liquid from their bodies, which was confirmed by Rebecca in a Reddit QnA to be vital to the creation of gems. Maybe due to Pink's shattering, they can't produce the exact formula to create gems and as such they are very careful when it comes to shattering gems.
I think that duplicating a gem would possibly have horrible reactions to the gem when the time turner thing is used. Steven is probably immune to it but other gems probably couldn't travel in time

The mural was also strongly focused on in the canon game Steven Universe: Save the Light, which was released within the last few years, so it does seem to hold importance. So much importance that it was focused on in the game, camera panning up fo it whenever you go into that room and everything.

If corrupted gems could be cured with a rejuvinator that would be interesting but they would just end up the same once they go through experiences and recover their memories if it works that way if not then the whole plot with the diamonds would of happened much more differently
Everyone's talking about how they would become corrupted after they reform, but I have two soloutions to that 1) don't let them reform 2)reforming is just the light construct changing around the gem, and memories being brought out from the back of said gem. Corruption is a physical occurrence, while reforming is more complicated, that affects the conciousness inside the gem. In conclusion, rejuvenation can cure gems
In regard to your second question, if a corrupted gem got rejuvenated its possible they would forget all they've learned in their corrupted state. Trying to fix the damage of the diamonds with a rejuvinator is like smashing a computer with a hammer, living it to barely work, and try to fix it by factory resettingit.
It certainly is foreshadowing for us, the audience, but it still needs to be explained in universe. The only gem who knew about Rose being PD is Pearl and she was not allowed to discuss it which, I'm guessing, would translate to the fact that she can't create murals about it.

Well it was revealed that in the case of Lemon Jade, when two gems of the same type but are of different courts fuse their bodies create more body parts and appendages as if they they where two different types of gems entirely And from what we know about the lunar sea spire, it was created as a gathering place for gems and thus the fusion-esque statues could possibly represent different places within the spire where two different courts would have been able to meet should the colony have been created or if it hadn't been destroyed/infested
Different gem variations are still considered different gems though, we've seen many variations of different Jaspers for example, also the Diamonds. It of course still would behave like cross-gem fusion because they're not the same.

It's a very specific looking shield, something that Pink Diamond probably never used or else people wouldn't recognize that shield as specifically belonging to Rose Quartz (as Jasper did in her first appearance). And it's presumably not something that Bismuth created (though it might be). Of course, a bigger question is "What's the deal with the weapons that the gems have?" Do they create them from a Green Lantern-like power? Or is it just something that they keep in storage inside their gems (we did see that Pearl has a lot of storage space inside herself)? I assume that it was more a Green Lantern like power as, especially in season one, summoning specific weapons seemed to be a thing that was a gem power, with Steven surprised when he learned that his weapon was a shield. It would be less surprising if it was just a shield that he was pulling out of storage from his gem.

How/when did Pink Diamond become transformed from being literally infantile-minded to at least being capable of developing a colony and, later, a conscience strong enough to urge her to break all tradition and rebel against her own kind? 2. Rebecca answered this on a q&a. Spinel was close enough to Pink Diamond that she knew where the injector and rejuvenator were. This was originally in the movie, but was cut due to the length of the movie.
Time travel: Gems are such an advanced species interstellar beings, their knowledge goes beyond over a 10 years old boy. They must knew using that time travel tool would mess up the things maybe to worst so they didn't want to loose more. Resource shortage: a replication machine represents a small weakness on diamonds army, as we know, Yellow is the one on charge about this, they preferred to absorb other planets vitality and to not have a weakness instead taking the risk.

The mural at 6:36 the being fighting what seems to rose quartz seems to resemble white diamond but the thing that surprises me is why white diamond is shooting sharp rocks, her original power is actually a mind synching beam which allows white diamond to control the target/targets.
The Mural is (what I think to be) A reference to Pink Steven in Change your Mind, since, the shield Pink Steven uses is made of small pink diamonds. It could also represent when the diamond launched their direct attack against Earth, and Rose used her shield and since she was a diamond, the diamond represent her diamond powers blocking theirs from reaching her. Because if you also notice, there are two gems in front of her, who would be Pearl and Garent, and the rest of the Gems are the ones who got hit.

The resource shortage actually was answered indirectly in the extraction chambers that Yellow and Blue Diamond use and when Peridot said she used Steven's toothbrush (and subsequently developed her gem power of ferokinesis). It appears that Homeworld was deficient in Pink Diamond essence.
The diamonds never knew about It probably. Also, remember, gems can SHAPESHIFT (these were built before the diamonds were unable to give gems that power anymore) lapis lazuli is magical, just like every other gem.

My thoughts on the mural: Rose Quartz is holding a diamond, fighting a fusion of all three other diamonds, or white diamond herself. The reason rose is holding a diamond is because she is one. The hands are the cluster. And the other shapes around rose are crystal gems. And the things coming down from the sky are drop ships with more soldiers, and that ship is homeworld. Now, how was this painted when nobody else knew about rose? Well either it was made by sapphires or rose built the pyramid temple and put this in there.
I think the mural Is of white diamond sending the beam to earth and rose's diamond is her shield/diamond weapon and its deflecting the blast. The people behind her are garnet and pearl but the Crewniverse probably didn't have it planned that only garnet and pearl were protected as to why there are so many gems behind rose. I always felt like the mural was pretty straightforward??? It’s rose protecting the crystal gems from white diamond, with rose leading the rebellion and white diamond representing homeworld. The two figures in front of her are likely garnet and pearl, being the closest to her during the war. The hands could be gems who are worshipping white diamond or, more likely in my opinion, they are suffering under her rule.
I think those hands in the mural are a representation ,made by homeworld ,of the rebels trying to steal the diamond's power as the leaders of the Gems, or made by the Crystal Gems ("rebels") representing the soldiers fighting against the diamonds, using the "most powerfull of them"( White Diamond) as a representation of the "Diamond Autority". And i always thought of that "Diamond" in Rose's hands as her shield, as well as a little spoiler at the same time.
My theory is that in the mural rose is fighting a smaller prism version of white diamond, as Rebecca stated that the save the light series is mostly canon and the white gem looks much like white diamond and the triangle looks like the shape of the prism in the games. And the pink diamond rose is holding was likely just fore shadowing for the future of the series. Or I'm just wrong and it resembles the diamond attack on earth

I doubt its white diamond. From what i can tell, white didn’t come anywhere near earth until the corruption. It could be a major officer or other warrior in the imperial army. We hear a lot of talk about agates and how scary they are. I’d bet the mural is a depiction of a major battle between Rose, the grand leader of the rebellion, and the champion warrior of the imperial gem army, Opalized White Agate. The item that Rose is using could easily be an artifact of some kind or an odd configuration of her shield. We’ve seen Steven make some cool stuff with his bubble after all. Any thoughts on my theory?
That explanation causes problems. Why would there be a mural depicting Rose as Pink Diamond if nobody but rose and her pearl knew, and if that is what it's depicting then wouldn't Rose or Pearl think to destroy any evidence that would point towards this truth? Them leaving that there would be a huge risk and probably something they'd come across eventually considering how long they've been on earth and wouldn't someone else find that place eventually and come to the same conclusion you did? otherwise, it makes them look stupid for not catching on.

The mural is probably a representative of Rose’s forces fighting Homeworld’s forces (represented by White Diamond). Rose seems to be deflecting a pink diamond sent forth by White Diamond (or Homeworld) which represents Rose shattering Pink Diamond and repelling her influence on Earth when she was sent there by White Diamond. All of the hands are probably the hands of all the gems in the Cluster. This scene could be representative of all the imprisoned and shattered gems reaching out to attack White Diamond and free themselves after being imprisoned in the Earth’s crust. Idk if they’re reaching out towards WD in anger or begging her for mercy.

When does the gem leave her body and embed itself in Steven's body? She still had her gem while she was pregnant so therefore Steven had a little fetus body at that point that couldn't have had a gem (unless his stomach was smooshed up against her stomach so that they could share or something).

The diamond is symbolic of roses shield but it has a diamond shape, as a hint that she's a diamond and that white figure is an early concept of white diamond, shooting the corruption beam. The reason yellow and blue aren't there might be symbolic or they hadn't had thought of blue and yellow having the same ability yet. And the figures behind rose is a symbol of garnet and pearl, and the hands are the diamond hands when shooting the corruption beam.

The resource shortage is sublety explained in "Familiar", where we see the Diamonds' extractian chambers extract a liquid from their bodies, which was confirmed by Rebecca in a Reddit QnA to be vital to the creation of gems. Maybe due to Pink's shattering, they can't produce the exact formula to create gems and as such they are very careful when it comes to shattering gems.
Just had a thought would it be possible to make a synthesize pink fluid using white diamonds fluid. She is technically all the colors in one.
For time travel, maybe homeworld would only use it for observing as when ever you try to change something, it will always go wrong.

If corrupted gems could be cured with a rejuvinator that would be interesting but they would just end up the same once they go through experiences and recover their memories if it works that way if not then the whole plot with the diamonds would of happened much more differently
Everyone's talking about how they would become corrupted after they reform, but I have two soloutions to that
1) don't let them reform
2)reforming is just the light construct changing around the gem, and memories being brought out from the back of said gem. Corruption is a physical occurrence, while reforming is more complicated, that affects the conciousness inside the gem. In conclusion, rejuvenation can cure gems

Well it was revealed that in the case of Lemon Jade, when two gems of the same type but are of different courts fuse their bodies create more body parts and appendages as if they they where two different types of gems entirely
And from what we know about the lunar sea spire, it was created as a gathering place for gems and thus the fusion-esque statues could possibly represent different places within the spire where two different courts would have been able to meet should the colony have been created or if it hadn't been destroyed/infested
The sea spire was a structure created for homeworld's elites to think in.
Different gem variations are still considered different gems though, we've seen many variations of different Jaspers for example, also the Diamonds. It of course still would behave like cross-gem fusion because they're not the same.

Another question: When did Rose first gain the ability to use her shield? It's a very specific looking shield, something that Pink Diamond probably never used or else people wouldn't recognize that shield as specifically belonging to Rose Quartz (as Jasper did in her first appearance). And it's presumably not something that Bismuth created (though it might be). Of course, a bigger question is "What's the deal with the weapons that the gems have?" Do they create them from a Green Lantern-like power? Or is it just something that they keep in storage inside their gems (we did see that Pearl has a lot of storage space inside herself)? I assume that it was more a Green Lantern like power as, especially in season one, summoning specific weapons seemed to be a thing that was a gem power, with Steven surprised when he learned that his weapon was a shield. It would be less surprising if it was just a shield that he was pulling out of storage from his gem.
Your question rather goes along with the two salient questions I have concerning Pink Diamond:
1. How/when did Pink Diamond become transformed from being literally infantile-minded to at least being capable of developing a colony and, later, a conscience strong enough to urge her to break all tradition and rebel against her own kind?
2. When did Pink Diamond/Rose Quartz realize that she had powers of her own that were equal (or even superior) to her sisters...the shield, gem healing, resurrection of organic dead and making pocket dimensions that connect over millions of light years...when she obviously felt she couldn't stand up to them as Pink Diamond, who could be physically yanked around at their will?

Rebecca answered this on a q&a. Spinel was close enough to Pink Diamond that she knew where the injector and rejuvenator were. This was originally in the movie, but was cut due to the length of the movie.
Time travel: Gems are such an advanced species interstellar beings, their knowledge goes beyond over a 10 years old boy. They must knew using that time travel tool would mess up the things maybe to worst so they didn't want to loose more.
Resource shortage: a replication machine represents a small weakness on diamonds army, as we know, Yellow is the one on charge about this, they preferred to absorb other planets vitality and to not have a weakness instead taking the risk.
I can see where that would work with time travel but seeing how messed up and distraught the diamonds and so many gems were about pink, you would think they'd risk it

The hands are the cluster. And the other shapes around rose are crystal gems. And the things coming down from the sky are drop ships with more soldiers, and that ship is homeworld.
Now, how was this painted when nobody else knew about rose? Well either it was made by sapphires or rose built the pyramid temple and put this in there.
I think the mural Is of white diamond sending the beam to earth and rose's diamond is her shield/diamond weapon and its deflecting the blast. The people behind her are garnet and pearl but the Crewniverse probably didn't have it planned that only garnet and pearl were protected as to why there are so many gems behind rose. I always felt like the mural was pretty straightforward??? It’s rose protecting the crystal gems from white diamond, with rose leading the rebellion and white diamond representing homeworld. The two figures in front of her are likely garnet and pearl, being the closest to her during the war. The hands could be gems who are worshipping white diamond or, more likely in my opinion, they are suffering under her rule.
I think those hands in the mural are a representation ,made by homeworld ,of the rebels trying to steal the diamond's power as the leaders of the Gems, or made by the Crystal Gems ("rebels") representing the soldiers fighting against the diamonds, using the "most powerfull of them"( White Diamond) as a representation of the "Diamond Autority". And i always thought of that "Diamond" in Rose's hands as her shield, as well as a little spoiler at the same time.
My theory is that in the mural rose is fighting a smaller prism version of white diamond, as Rebecca stated that the save the light series is mostly canon and the white gem looks much like white diamond and the triangle looks like the shape of the prism in the games. And the pink diamond rose is holding was likely just fore shadowing for the future of the series. Or I'm just wrong and it resembles the diamond attack on earth
I thought that the resource shortage was about the lack of Pink Diamond's contribution to the extraction chamber and the goo that went into the injectors when they seeded new gems?

About the fusion statues. If you look at watermelon tourmaline you can see that she has 4 arms even though she is a single gem
