Great technique. Thanks for the video
You are welcome!
Are there many bubbles formed? I have a problem with using hand mixer because it produces so many bubbles on my gel.
The glycerin method never faled me. With water even if i blend i can still see litle clumps and its so time consuming.
This is best for formulas that does not need glycerin.
Depending on the product, I mix all my products then I cover and let it sit over night. The gum will Smooth out.
Hello Green beauty. Please can i ask a question,, i really need an answer to this question. Can i use Texapon thickening agent to thicken my diy shampoo in place of xantam gum. What they sell around me is Texapon and i dont know how safe it is to be used in shampoos and conditioners.
2. Can i use formalin preservatives in place of gemall plus preservatives in hair care products?.is formalin safe? Gladly expecting a reply😄
Yes you can use texapon. Formalin is toxic.
@@greenbeautychemist. i really appreciate you for your response thank you so much. 😍 please one more question. Can i use gelatin as a preservative in my hair products in place of gemall plus. Gemall plus is really hard to find around me. Or can you recommend to me the place you get your gemall plus if you reside in lagos please🙏🙏🙏
Cool, do you know any way to make a leave in conditioner that mixes well with the gel? I’m trying to find a leave in conditioner formula to put on the hair before the gel
Thanks for the method; its very good because glycerin isn't safe for oral consumption. I have a question: temperature or ph of the fluid have a effect on the result of the mix?
no
Where can you buy this machine?
Search on Google. It is a very powerful handheld emulsifier. The price has really increased. See description box
Thank you so much for posting. One quick question: what amount of water did you use in your video? That would be very helpful, for me personally, to get a point of reference on ratio of water to xanthan gum. Thanks again!
Use 1% Xanthan Gum, 1% preservative and 98% Water.
All right, thanks!
I think Glycrine method to dissolve xanthan is much easier than this method 🤔
Yea but moar expensive.
But certain things u make u don’t want to use glycerin. Like toothpaste I want to make.
Can this gum mix in white phnyl for making it thick, please tell me. Thank u.
Please ma'am, can I use the homogenizer for large scale production and where can I get it in Nigeria?
This is not meant for large scale production. It is not available in Nigeria at the moment. Search google to see distributors who can ship it to you.
Can it be done with normal hand blender?
yes
Can I pour it into a blender to mix it?
blender not advisable but if you are trying a diy recipe, you can blend it. An overhead stirrer or homogenizer will do a better job of dispersing your gum
@@greenbeautychemist. Thank you. I tried the one method of dispersion, but I noticed after I added the mixture to my cream base, it recrystalized. I didn't use much, bc I wanted a silky feeling, which it does, BUT it has a grainy feeling, however, they do disappear when you rub it into the skin.
What ratio of water to xanthan gum did you use?
can i thicken my shampoo with 3% PEG-150 Distearate?
I don't use any of the peg products, they are highly toxic raw materials.
can be for sex lubrican..? is it safe...?
I don't know as adult lubricants formulation are not my area of specialization. I don't formulate those. Thanks
