I have learned, Doug could even start a series called Yugioh & Order where the premise is deep diving local city laws where him and MBT take turns being rude to each other while guessing what city that law came from, as long as at the end of the episode a wheel is spun and a pack is opened I’m coming back to smash the like button every week.

I love these Doug-Joseph collabs because they have the perfect dynamic. There have been some really good shows and series with other Yugi-tubers, but Doug needs a foil. MBT plays the perfect foil. Doug's at his best when matched against a chaotic asshole and I'm so excited for a new wheel series to look forward to.
They work like sport comintators the knowledgeable one who knows the stats and most things that will come his way and the enthusiastic one who enjoys watching and says some wild out there comments and can on the occasion get off topic
Which is also why bringing gage to saga was a good idea.

The ultimate conclusion of all of these wheel series is that every episode they spin a wheel to decide which previous wheel they spin from for their deck that episode

As the world's foremost expert on Blackwings, Doug's play here was really inspirational here. Even I, in my infinite wisdom, did not see some of the lines Doug came up with. The incredible foresight to make Harmattan level 6 while thinking several steps ahead, in the face of all the doubters, is simply unbelievable. I wish I, the world's foremost expert on Blackwings, could be as talented as Doug.
Doug played fine. His pulls just weren't there.
I don't even think the optimal opening of, like, whirlwind, sudri and shamal could have saved his bacon out there
Literally had plays I couldn't think of while looking at the board, only things I can think of was stuff he literally didn't pull. I don't doubt there are some people who think he could have pulled this off but it's sealed, we manage our expectations accordingly
When MBT pulled Salad I knew it was over. We saw it in rotation, we saw it in saga and now we saw it here. Salad is amazing.

I think 20 pulls makes more sense than 15, that way youre guaranteed a UR with the 2nd 10 pull if you dont get one
I was looking forward to a mention of "falco control" from MBT, a deck he always seems to be in perpetual fear of anytime Salamangreat is mentioned, but that never seems to really come to fruition
he won with it in master roulette against a fairly competent strat from doug (cant remember what)

@@Daxxon10101 notably, the finale of roulette didn’t do well. Honestly, the numbers have been pretty consistent all the way through if you look at it that way because the older ones just have a lot of cumulative views over time. So honestly, I think he needs to go to three series a week but that’s just me. I think it would gas the channels algorithm quite a bit.
After enough of these you'll be able to make a Roullete Roullete, where you spin a wheel of wheels to know wich wheel you'll wheel next.
That was a heart of the cards on that game 3 draw. That’s insane.
Here's the raw deal with Blackwing: none of the new, actually good cards are in the pack. They weren't even *available to craft* until the update on June 7th. The *best* doug could have hoped for was Full Armor Master, Nothung, Raikiri, and extra Whirlwinds.
Doug's ability to make a series from a wheel and a yugioh video game is phenomenal.

I like this one. The base structure deck makes it so you always has a gameplan and the 15 packs ensure both players also get a strong version. ( Unless the roll very badly lmao )

Just saw that subversion play and I believe that encapsulates exactly what modern yugioh feels like. There have been countless times where I made plays and thought wow i really went through ma bunch of great moves there only to be killed by single activations of one ofs like tactics or thrust that just turns any game around. We don't need to go back to the old days where spells cards like pog, charity, duo decided every game. We're already here.

Don't worry Dzeeff, I don't think you misplayed anywhere super meaningfully. There were times when I was like "Nooo read the last effect of Onimaru" but it realistically didn't matter, you were playing against a deck with an insane engine so long as it finds any of its cards with exactly one and a half copies of Black Whirlwind in your deck. Not much you can do about pulling bad and MBT drawing into the right non-engine at the right time
Nice idea. Hopefully there are better pulls in the future, but I like using the structures, and it's a short series for you guys.

So, fun fact about the Ninja deck. You purchase it once and it gives you three copies of everything in it. It's probably the best deal on there
Can't wait for when we finally get the "Wheel of wheels": Both players spin a wheel of every wheel that Doug made a series on, then they spin the respective wheel to determine the deck. Maybe even include a mandatory re-spinny just for the extra wheel spins.
(might actually be funny as a one-off for april fools or something)

When MBT pulled Sirocco I hoped it'd make the cut bc the attack gain would count Doug's Blackwings and that would've been very funny if it came up
This is I think a great way to do the similar "anime character" type style but also having a way more consistent power level
I'd have kind of liked this to be "we bought 3 structure decks and this is what we built" but packs is probably fine too

It would be cool if this series could branch out to include real life past TCG structure decks aswell
Another great series! I don't think you should do crafts for this series, since you get a mostly playable deck right out the gate. However, the blackwing and galaxy structures were released with their associated boss monster not included in the deck, but as a login bonus, so I wouldn't mind those 2 decks getting those cards specifically.

I love these types of series: spin a wheel, spend money on garbage cards, duke it out and not read any cards, profit
Ninja's going to be a hard time because all the important monsters, apart from Hanzo, are only in the structure deck. I think that's true of a couple of the spells and traps too.
Not super excited to see the re spins come back but otherwise this was really fun! Ive wanted to see people do morr stuff with the structer decks so great to see here

If there isnt already the next series in the pipeline after this, i would really like a series where the participants dont have to buy stuff. Every series has you buy so much gems that over all these different acounts im sure there is at least 2k in Master Duell. We poor people need a representation too, how about a series where you try to climb with the least amount of boosters bought.

But only of the material of dismantled cards you pulled.
So if you got 3 useless SRs, you can make one.
The serie needs 3 structure decks to give some decks a chance.
The structure decks are overall a big Konami W, Salamangreat was playable even before the latest support, Ninja was released at the same time of Kashtira and had a great match up against it, Dragonmaid is great for beginners to learn the basics, zombies are probably some of the most fun rogue decks out there... Even Cipher who is not really playable has a few staples included.
