Is this Chinese 3D printed cycle saddle any good? How is it stacked against Fizik and Specialized?

- I'm sharing my first impressions of a cheap 3D-printed saddle I recently purchased. I will answer the question on everyone's mind: Is it any good?
How does it stacked against Fizik Adaptive Saddle R1 or Specialized Power Pro Saddle with Mirror?

I’ve had one of these Ryet saddles for a few months now and it’s going well for me.
Nice light saddle, carbon base is very firm but the 3d padding does a good job cushioning , about 4000 miles covered so far.

It has the same shape as the PRO Stealth saddle . Since I’m compatible with my current Pro, I’ll most likely go with this one for my next build.
There’s also a China knockoff of the power mirror saddle that “everything’s been done” yt channel covered too.
Yes, it copies the PRO Stealth.
Unfortunately my experience with the Ryet / Zuess Aircode 3d printed saddle has not been so good thus far. I use it on my XC MTB hardtail. It lasted one (1) month before the the nose of the saddle separated from the rails where the rails and saddle nose are joined together. Ryet has sent me a replacement. However they made me pay for shipping. We will see how the second saddle copes with relatively abusive South African XCM racing.
It is not the top quality stuff you would expect form other well know named brands. It kind of do the job and I did have a similar situation which I repaired with a glue mix and it seems to hold up after 3 months. So give it a try if this one fail as well.
Surly Chinese copy stuff isn't for racing or more serious riding.

1st of all many times these engineer a$$holes SAY a display has fuel gauge but it doesnt actually wrk.
This disay& kit wrked righteously.
I felt like i was suddenly riding on a finalky greased rusty chain.
My direct drive generated a lot of drag.
This one ZERO drag & it felt noticeabky, constantly GOOD. Felt great. Also felt great 2have 24 gears again versus only 8.
This display also worked. Perfect.
All controllers should have a 4giveness feature like motorcycle reserve petcocks let u know u must drammatically reduce speed 2make it home...
My display has 5 battery bars that WORK.
But when it dies it comes back on with 2 bars reserve & i suspect it was engineeeed 2give u a little grave period so as u can sliw down limp back home.
I am very impressed this was emgineered thoufhtdully.
I warned China 4 10yeara they had better begin doing this.
So here is photo all th stats.
I had earlier estimated I would do up2 17.5 mph ave. speed 35 miles round trip.
I averaged 17.3 mph traveling 17.3 miles 2Walmart.
I got 50lb groceries.
Distance Walmart 2cabin = 17.3 miles.
I averaged 15.8mph back overshooting thcabin till battery died.
Battery died @ 20.91 miles.
So, I overshot cabin by 3.7 miles& still averaged 15.8mph.
Round trip 17.3 + 15 8 ÷ 2 = 33.1÷2=
...Bottomlinemy ave. speed was 16.55mph covwring a distance of 38.21 miles. Very impreasive.
THIS is what happens when u fueling a little 350 watt front wheel geared motor with 36 volts& operating it optimally.
Put yr average bozo on that bike their stats gonna be an absolute disaster area with abyssmal results& absolutely destroying/wearing out equipment while they're at it.
In thway they destructively operate equipment.
Conclusion:
I now know I can confidently do out & back 35 mile round trip2 Walmart Poteau averaging 18.5 mph 50lb groceries in under 2hours round trip.

My new E Bike Kit:
This E Bike kit was done right.
I began specify in detail20 years ago how E Bike kit should be designed. This kit 90% nailed it. (90% still 10% lie.)
My job riding bike = 2b super gentle careful.
1. Operate so as2b constantly gentle withoze nylon gears.
2. Touch buttons minimally they designed2 wear out.
Tape waterproof connections thwart corrosion.
Keep bike inside stop freezing preserve battery/stop condensation.
Keep LCD facing DOWN.
Sun wears buttons out.
Keep constant diligent pressure on those pedals reduce stress on gears while keep up my speed save TIME.
This kit will buy me 70 hours time a year I save commuting = 9 8hour days work I'll gain.
Charge battery minimally under 75times annually.
Bought one and it's extremely uncomfortable for me, ass is sore after just 20minutes on it and it's too wide causing chaffing, will stick with my old saddle for now can do 60plus miles on it with no pain

I bought the same saddle for about 100.00. It isnt comfortable.
what torque setting did you use?
I used 8-9 nm
It’s not bad. Good body shape and dimensions for the right person. Has a flat profile. It’s not quite a short nose design but very performance orientated when in the drops. Doesn’t have zonal cushioning and the 3d cushioning is a bit too shallow for heavier riders, i found that it bottomed out and my sit bones felt like they were on the base sometimes. For fifty sobs British it’s a bit of a bargain.
Does anyone know what brand and model this is copied from Selle Italia boost perhaps?

That is the native iOS measure app. so it wont be on Android I am afraid.
I have it I like it, the honeycomb breaks in after a couple of rides. The lightweight makes it worth it

It should be good really - the printing technology is there and they likely just got another 3D saddle and cut and scanned it.
But really the exciting thing about 3D saddle printing is gonna be personalisation. The idea you can sit on a sensor in a shop or put one on your existing saddle or whatever submit the scan somewhere and get a 3D printed saddle to your sit bone shape and such.. man that’d be quite cool and it has the potential not to be too exoensivet

Not comfy at all cause the carbon frame on the side sticks out to far and rubs on your inner legs.

It's very comfy for me on my gravel. But on road bike yeah it rubs and needs to be softer by a tad bit more. Worth trying 100% tho!
