Great episode! I really enjoy seeing great places to go and visit!
Great video need more of these destination videos..
My stomping grounds. Devils mountain brings back good memories. Thanks for the video
Mekoos is one of the nicest places I have stayed
Awesome episode Jeff !! I must say I like these trip shows more than anything. Very informative and a joy to watch. Keep up the great work. Thank you. Just added another to the bucket list. Dave
Thanks! It was tough getting out to do the travel destination shows this year, but we did get a couple great tours in. Stay tuned!
Congratulations on the showcasing of this amazing region - I enjoy all of your episodes, but this one was exquisite! Cheers from Québec 👌
I carry ear plugs all the time. It was a symphony of snores in the cabin!
I’m glad you enjoyed the show. Creating great snowmobile content in Quebec is easy because it’s such a great place to ride!
Hello Jeff.
As president of a snowmobile club in the Lac-St-Jean region, I thank you for the final words of this episode. Indeed the season was more than difficult and ended too soon for everyone's taste. I take this opportunity to invite you next season in our sector, we have a 236km trail which connects the Valin mountains to Normandin. This is the P49 trail.
Hello, I’ve been to the Lac-St-Jean reaction in the past both in the winter and summer. It’s a beautiful place! I would defiantly take you up on your invite to visit the area once again. If you’d like to connect with me on Facebook or contact the office we can work out some details.
Also, thank you for the effort you put in! I don’t think most people realize how much work the president of a snowmobile club puts in.
Our season in Northern New Hampshire along the QC border was 1 month. Trails opened 1/20/24, last ride before the rain 2/24/24. All snow was lost in a week with rain and super warm temps. Shortest riding season in my life.
Same here in Eastern Ontario. I was away from home when the trails were open and never turned a track around here.
Great episode! BTW. You can also do this loop by ATV SxS in the summer. Also awesome! Too bad you missed Fer a Cheval.
It's nice to see at least someone is getting to enjoy some riding! Here in western New York I had 1 whole week when we had enough snow to open the trails. I took advantage of it but boy is it disapointing!!! Here's to next winter...
Same. 😢western ny
I’m already looking forward to next winter!
@@Summitoutdoorproductions there were some folks from New York here in Nova Scotia Canada snowmobiling in the Cape Breton Highlands
Cool. We looked into going farther north this year like Cochran but could never get enough guys together to share the cost. It’s Gona have to happen if these winters don’t improve here. Would love to ride Nova Scotia 👍🏻.
Fantastic trip!!!
I know that trail system better than the ones at home been going there for the last 7years in a row.
Love your channel. Especially enjoyed the Woodrunner trail tour.
Please try to equalize the music and added sound in your videos. I need to turn it up to hear your voices, then it blasts too loud when the music effects play. Love the content, just a little constructive criticism.
That looks really awesome how much would that be far as each sled
Yes pricing would also be nice if you could share.
Hello, you would be looking around $800-850 per person for a group of 4. That includes 1 night at each lodge, dinner and breakfast. We did stay in Mont Laurier the evening before this adventure started and that would be an additional cost. This is a rough price and may change next year, and also depends on how many people stay in each cottage. I hope this helps!!
@@jeffsteenbakkers4435 thanks Jeff. That helps. We usually have 4. Seems to be the magic number of guys to trailer and truck ratio.
Reason why I'm asking cuz I want to take my daughter on a snowmobile trip
Great episode, Jeff! It certainly piqued my interest to consider doing a similar winter vacation in the next few years. Just wondering, what time of winter did you do this trip?
We were there the last week of January 2024. We rode a total of 3 and a half days, but if I were going to the region for a personal ride I would add a day or 2!
Close to zero snowmobile content in this one.
Yo… so what kinda snowmobile content are ya lookin for?
@@jeffsteenbakkers4435 Riding technique, machine reviews, gear reviews, destinations. It's always the same sleds, and mostly full of Quebec. I mean, look at this episode. It was about food and accommodations. Sure, there were a few kilometers in between but they showed roughly 3 minutes of snowmobiling and filled the rest with fat guys eating, pretending to be using a bathroom, fat guys snoring, and thats about it.
You know we do other shows that cover other those other stories right?… If you watched our other shows, you’d see that and that this trip to Quebec is the first and only trip to that province this season. BTW, It’s a great place to ride, has awesome places to stay, and will add a little meat to the bones with the food! So yes this destination show (also one of the topics you mentioned above in your critique) was more about the whole experience not just a bunch sleds riding back and forth on trails.
I will file your review in the appropriate safe space, and I hope you’ll tune in again. @@BorealEDC
