I also found out about your show from the Hot Ones vid you posted a little while back.
I just want to say that "American Cheese" is not cheese and should be removed from our vocabulary and dietary options. We're nearly the same age and I can say ever since I was a very little child, eat my grilled cheese sandwiches, there has never been a good tasting "American Cheese". I will ALWAYS sub for something else. I can choke it down, but not if there are other options. Knocks my opinions of chefs down a few notches for sure.

I am confused, I thought so too, and the name threw me because there are so many plant-based/vegan burgers out now with similar names so I guess I will look at the website for the recipe! He didn't discuss the burger. Oh well, still love it, and yep I am vegan.
