Of course it wasn't cancelled! They just decided to stop an ongoing series, for some unknown reason, then relaunch a new number one with a mini-series.
All comic collectors know a 6 issue mini-series is far far far better than an ongoing title.

It's not a good look for Australia when a writer from there makes it into d.c/ marvel and his books get cancelled and never last 2 years. one of them about a character that is under 18 and turned ghey. Could you imagine being seen out in public reading that ??.

Excellent content! Im slowly piecing a graphic novel together. I'm a Christian. I want my characters to make good decisions and for SOME to show good morals. Ya know what I'm not gonna do though? Make the characters carry crosses or preach. I want the characters to be just that, the characters that they are. The left has become so extremely preachy that they no longer see their characters, instead they see a billboard of sorts, as you said "an avatar" to preach their doctrine. Its not good story telling, and that's why they will fail every time. One more thing. If people were really as on board with the wokeism as we are led to believe then I would expect such stories as this to be smash hits, but they're not, because wokeism itself is not a smash hit. Its just common sense.

So he's the top seller because one person has offered four bucks for his book? Was that one person Tom Taylor timing his offer on his own book just as the timer ticks over to the new day or month or something?

Only coming out in one issue was a mistake. DC should have had ghey Superman come out to a different hero every issue. Really drag it out.

Once upon a time, a book that sold 68k copies was considered a failure and was in danger of cancellation. That's not the case anymore. A lot of the B and C list characters are barely scraping 20 or 30k now. Some sell under 10k per month.
This is pretty common with these new characters that don't catch on. They release what is obviously an ongoing series with the character. Initial sales might be fairly good but they drop off really fast. It's pretty common for sales to drop around 60% between issue #1 and issue #2. The series gets canceled because hardly anyone is buying it. The character is relegated to limited series since those are less risky for the publisher. This is a sure sign that a character can't support their own book.

Who cares, straight, gay,bi whatever. As long they told a superhero story, still fine for me. Maybe i won't collect it, but still fine. For me, son of kal el is not a superman story. Back in the days, when i read superman, i really enjoyed it. Clark have to save the world, do his own job, deal with everyday issue, such bullying, abuse, etc.
Give us fans a superhero story and also put a bit about our real life problem, we can relate abit. Not the other way around. Just read news then.
PS (me again!): the comment about "mini-brains" is pure projection, and tells you all you need to know: they're emotionally invested, this is personal for them. Admitting identity politics had something to do with the cancellation would mean THEY are the mini-brains. So nope, gotta double down.
