Fun fact btw: There is a revival mod called forsaken AR that removes all the microtransactions, adds new skins and characters, bug fixes, reverts the combat (for non boss characters), and DOESN’T DOX YOU.

And dude, they were pretty accurate to Aztec history and mythology too! Its one thing if they were stereotypes of Aztec people, but not historically accurate!! They were the best skins in the game...

So, little fun fact regarding 8-Bit Baby and why she isn't a skin:
Basically, Scott gave Illumix full creative freedom when it came to the skins implemented into the game, with the one rule being that characters he made couldn't be skins. So because 8-Bit Baby's design originates from Sister Location, they technically couldn't make her a skin, despite her having the exact same mechanic as Baby.
This is also kinda why a lot of characters just straight up didn't get skins but Bonnie & Springtrap got 4 each; they were just allowed to do whatever lol.
Edit: This is also why the Jack-O's are their own characters.
Honestly, that explains so much. That being the case, they could've made so much bank if they had released every single character he created, so it's so confusing why they wouldn't even bother.
@@Charriii5 Don't quote me on this, but it might be due to the fanart kerfuffle Steel Wool got into with FNaF VR. TLDR, Steel Wool mistook FNaF fanart for Scott's own creations and traced them into the game, when fans found out, they were upset to put it lightly. These kinds of deals can be a nightmare at times to deal with, an extreme example is basically what's going on between SEGA and Ken Penders, hope you enjoy never seeing Knuckles near the Master Emerald ever again, the dude's basically convinced himself that he invented the Echidnas. So, I wouldn't put it past Illumix to take the safer option and just avoid anything that could remotely look like Scott's just to avoid a one of these headaches.

Additional, and this only happens in the Shadow Bonnie encounter, you can physically move away from RXQ to make the encounter easier, which is the only time walking around during an encounter actually does anything

also funtime freddy was a special event because he was undeniably the fan favourite for characters people want

It is nothing away from a pure shame that this game got cancelled because this game could have gone infinitely better and farther if they just continued to animatronics and skins, and I get it it’s hard to develop and come up with this stuff, but the fact that they had lefty fully ready implies that they had character ideas that weren’t started

The creators of Forsaken AR did a better job at FNAF AR than Illumix did. If Illumix ready did care about FNAF AR, they could have sent it to another company, yet they didn’t, without telling us why they’re shutting the game down.
Edit: Overall, FNAF AR is the only FNAF game that is my least favorite, and while it was cool in the beginning, it was neglected, and it deserved better.

I still remember when AR first came out how excited I was cause I thought Mobile AR games were the future for portable fun like with Pokémon GO. I asked my dad for a tablet that didn't even end up being compatible. Got my Phone to finally try it...and I played it for a week and then everyday during the final delivery before the Server Shut Down 😭
Honestly the best and worst thing this game did was inspire all those people making their own custom fnaf AR models and animations.
But some people went like way too far, like actually having blood, child corpses, and screaming and crying

Being killed in fnaf 1 and seeing a freddy suit with real human eyes popping out? Creepy and unnerving.
Seeing some animation of one of the Freddy's having a child's legs sticking out of his mouth as it screams and cries till he bites down? Meh.
Bonus sin: Melted Chocolate Bonnie & Jack-o-Bonnie share the same workshop animation. Kinda lazy on Illumix' part at the time.

The thing about AR’s funky characters is that throughout most of it, Glitchtrap is in their systems causing shit. The glitches in the models, as well as a majority of the skins, are caused by Glitchtrap (and thus reference a lot of Afton’s and the series’ past). The animatronics have built in Illusion Disks (also the reason they can go invisible), which allows a lot of the “magical” or “illogical” phenomena we see them perform, things that would be ridiculous to market purposefully (in other words, Radioactive Foxy is not actually radioactive, he just Looks Like That.) It can give us a lot of insight into Glitchtrap’s psyche and how similar to Afton he really is. He seems to really like making fun of the real Afton now that he’s dead with all those Springtrap skins, but he also shares a lot of opinions of his like his hatred of Michael and his pride in his creations (I’m pretty sure Radioactive Foxy is Glitchtrap’s way of making fun of Michael’s famous putrid scent)
The reason there's the sound effect after the "you win!" Is cuz after before the update (wich added the buffs and healt) the streak stopped showing up, and the ballons replaced the.. uhh im not sure how to call them? Square white Outline? Wich showed all at once, and not "tap to see next reward", and the reason why the jack-o-'s are character is because scott made a "rule" that every character from games/books/anything like that must be a character, wich is also why 8-bit baby is a character and not a skin, oh and also, I'd recommend to check out animatronic universe special delivery, it's a Roblox recreation wich (knowing Roblox) might sound bad but it's _amazing_

It’ll be sad seeing these go. These videos inspired so much of my humor, much more than CinemaSins ever did. And I KNOW you said you’d be offended if you were Jeremy, but I always felt like there was a disconnect in CinemaSins that I don’t feel here. I understand your humor and I feel like everytime I watch one of these, I’m having fun with a friend.
I feel bad for this game because this has partially, but it was hald back. I can't blame the devs aka the ones who are made the game, they clearly had a idea for this game and wanted to have fun with it, but it was held back with the the people up top (insert company name here I forgot the name) Remember, they are not the only ones, this has happened pretty of times before and currently with devs wanting something cool and excited for the game but the people up top just holding them back, like before it was shutdown, you can see in the files something that is being held back. Creativity difference being they down fall. Or at least what I see at least

I think I have an idea as to why and how Springtrap snuck into deployment rotation is that it’s not the original Springtrap at all. In fact, none of them are. They’re all mass produced replicas of their original versions with their voice banks and rough designs intact. It would explain why the OG animatronics have that metallic sheen to them instead of having synthetic hair and why Springtrap doesn’t have the dead body inside him.

In earlier versions, your rewards were featured on that screen, which is why it's animated like that. They later changed it to use the balloon animation when they added it, but just never removed the animation on that screen.
9:20 Frostbear is a full character because, when he was first released, skins straight up didn't exist yet. Shamrock Freddy, the first official skin, didn't release until a few months After Frostbear's release. On top of that, at the time, skins couldn't have unique animations or voicelines, while Frostbear does have unique animations, and was originally planned to have voicelines.

If true; then they really had plans for this game, kinda sucks that not a ton panned out.
Thing about the "You Win!" screen, something WAS supposed to appear there. In earlier versions (before FNAF AR turned into a pure soulless cash grab), the rewards were handled differently and would all appear on one screen instead of shifting from screen to screen. No idea why they couldn't be bothered to remake the win screen, but they didn't. Instead they removed the rewards pop-ups on the screen and just made it cut to the new reward pop-up screen, the one with the balloons.
"Fun" story: I played this game casually for around two years and I NEVER GOT ANY EMAIL, if it weren´t for the internet I wouldn´t even know this thing had a story.

I had this game before the game came out cause my friend was able to pull an early access code. And it was waaaaayy better back then, and then it really did just get so much worse. Which is so sad cause this game had a lot of cool and great ideas.
