- Anna (Amy Adams) and Declan (Matthew Goode) share a passionate kiss together for the first time
What is Leap Year about?
When Anna's (Amy Adams) four-year anniversary to her boyfriend passes without an engagement ring, she decides to take matters into her own hands. Inspired by an Irish tradition that allows women to propose to men on Leap Day, Anna follows Jeremy (Adam Scott) to Dublin to propose to him. But after landing on the wrong side of Ireland, she must enlist the help of the handsome and carefree local Declan (Matthew Goode) to get her across the country. Along the way, they discover that the road to love can take you to very unexpected places.

Most of this movie is kinda insufferable, but I find myself rewatching it once or twice a year, mostly to see this 6-minute portion. Thanks for saving me time in the future.
😂😂
The family is always embarrassing, but I never saw "come on, perform affection for our entertainment" before.
I've seen someone mention this before and it always sat with me: the innkeeper told them the requirement for them staying there was they had to be married, so they made up a pretty unconvincing lie. Maybe this was his way of pushing them to prove they're actually married. Still messed up, but at least this way it has plot relevance.
Yeah Idk about making out at the dinner table just inches from other people's faces, kinda creepy.
Best cinematic kiss ever? Can't think of a better one.
that's the only romcom i can watch.
I’m married 44 years March 1st. My husband tells me I’m beautiful every day! ❤❤❤❤❤
Use your Free Will to LOVE!...it will hasten Disclosure, and the transition from 3D-5D.
He's adorable
When guys are like this in real life we dump them. Sincerely a girl who has ditched a couple
Nervous cute guys are hot.
😂😂😂 “I have to charge an all nighter.” 😂😂😂😂
Great movie (if you can forgive Matthew Goode's godawful Irish accent).
I like him anyway. 😊
Who cares about his accent. Just look at the guy. He’s gorgeous.
Are you Irish ? Otherwise it sounded good to me
There is no ONE Irish accent - and Graham Norton (who's Irish, by the way) - thought it was fine.
Movie name?
ele tirando os dedos um por um aaaaaaaaaaaaaa
:)
In real life it's a crucial mistake for the guy to get all shy and turn away like he did when they looked at each other in bed. It doesn't build "tension" to be a coward and hesitate like that... rather it ends everything. Movies like this do more harm than good for young male viewers. Guys: do not shy away like he did here. You probably won't get another chance. Shyness, nervousness, you may as well stand on a chair and scream "a mouse, I see a mouse" because that's the way women see a guy who fails to move forward on a green light. Women really don't find hesitancy cute or endearing except in the movies.
I disagree.
Men have emotions and insecurities as well as women. It is fine to be nervous or hesitant or shy. Women have intuition and usually know when men fell for them, doesnt matter shy or not
Dude. Until that night, they really disliked each other, and let's not forget she is in a long term relationship with somebody else. They made the right choice to not do anything.
@@BrieanaWeybright It's true I've never seen the actual film so thanks for the context. The "dislike becomes like after shared adversity" type of movie is probably a benefit to the world because of its overall "don't judge a book by its cover" message. It was just that the clip out of context appeared to me to be another attempt to tell young men that they'll always get a second chance if they chicken out of even one of life's transient golden opportunities (if she were single, he could have at least kissed her again or talked about it). Life's greatest regrets are that which one passed up out of "fear of failure/fear of rejection."
I agree . Written by a women I would suppose. @@AllenMacCannell
