I really honour and respect that you admit you can/strive to donate more. Many of us (who can afford it, of course) give in the smallest capacities and feel a huge sense of self-righteousness when we do so, let alone seek to be even more generous. You shared with me so I will share with you. I don't wear makeup and I shave my head. I use the #1 guard. I shave my head because I enjoy it. I thrift most of my clothes and if I shop in the men's section I don't have to try to be pretty. My most expensive purchase for myself recently was a pen that cost $25.98 at office depot. I like to keep a journal and I wanted a refillable pen so I don't have to buy the disposable ones anymore. The disposables are good if I might lose my pen or have to lend it to someone who may not return it to me. I am more willing to spend money on someone else if I have money to spend. I just don't get any happiness from spending money on me. Personal preference.
I spent some time budgeting yesterday too! Figuring out how I want to handle my student loan debt and setting an income goal for my next job. Love your videos!
I'm 26 and tomorrow I have a job interview for a 8-17 job....my thinking is just like but I will try to work a little and save....I hope I won't burn out🤦♀️
A full time job is important, don’t let other people experience pull you away from your destiny everyone has their own life to live . While working there you still can think about what you could do aside it’s possible! God bless you !

I would LOVE some more budget videos. I'm currently launching my own copywriting business and want to have other streams of income. I've been in a bit f a funk for about 6 years now, since my little sister died, and now I feel like I'm finally thawing out and motivated again to go for what I originally wanted prior. I've been applying for more editorial postions, but have also wanted to stop relying on a boss/employee dynamic and make something for myself. Not sure if I could be a content creator in this sense, but I love writing, performing, and the arts in general. Finances have always given me major anxiety so seeing you budget out has helped me make a list for myself. Now I just need one for the business end (once I launch).

This was so insightful! Especially having clients that do this sort of work! But I did want to mention, only so you're not thrown off at tax time or risking an audit, the U.S tax court has ruled that the costs of maintaining an appealing appearance are not deductible, even for public personalities. U probably know this already but just for anyone watching that lives in the U.S.
I was just about to leave this same comment, if she gets audited, she is gonna be in a world of hurt. Do not mess with the IRS cause they can ruin your life for a long, long time. Hopefully she has an accountant who will tell her this kind of thing live and in person.
