NHS In Stitches is brought to you by an army of volunteers including some of Britain's best comedic talents: Lucy Porter, Stewart Lee, Junior Simpson, Mark Steel, Wendy Wason, Nish Kumar, Francesca Martinez, Slim, Kerry Godliman, Pappy's, Rufus Hound, and Ed Bennett. On the 28th March 2015 at the Hackney Empire in London, the all-star line up lent their (often quite loud, always hilarious) voices to our call to stand up for the nation’s proudest achievement and most treasured institution: Our NHS.

This 37minute film is based on the 2 hour live event. It features a selection of the fantastic stand up sets, sketches, short films from the night. It also includes some back stage interviews with a few of the comedians.

To luke Hurley, you obviously do not understand politicts. Mark Steel is one of the bedt satire comedians on this planet. l travelled up to watch Mark Steel in Newcastle in 2013 then l met him after the show. He is very clever at knocking the government. Mark stands up for those who are less well off than some in society and that is what his comedy is based on. Luke you don't get Mark's wit. also Mark is best known for going on rally's and going on marches when people are striking like he speaks at the n.h.s strikes. Mark does alot of good. Luke if you don't like or understand his wit that is your choice. But do not knock this brilliant comedian who takes the time, to come out and support the n.h.s and the stupid bedroom tax. That is what mark steel does and does not get paid for this. When there was the steel works strike in thr eighties mark put some of these men up, in his own home, with the permission of his mother. You know nothing youg man. l salute you mark steel. l have followed you since the eighties all the best in your satirest comedy. look up that word luke. You may learn something.
