His tone is so clean, it was used on the James Web telescope before it launched.
This made me laugh so hard!!
One of the greatest guitar player recordings of all time.
There's. Happy birthday , and there's Clifs of Dover ... Thanks Eric
I'm from Fort Worth, Texas and I remember Eric Johnson playing in some clubs here when he was just 15 years old or so locally and he was this good of a player even at 15 years old, a prodigy for sure. His band was called the "Electro Magnets" I would guess this being around 1972 thru 1974. Note: he is without a doubt one of the nicest people I have ever met, not a "Superstar" bone is his body!
That Electromagnets CD was great....I think it was recorded from a local radio show performance
You can't over estimate the guitar talent from Texas. All spent time in Austin most made it their home. TBone Walker, Lowell Fulson, Fenton Robinson, Albert Collins, Freddie King, Hubert Sumlin (Howlin Wolf), Johnny Winter, Steve Miller, Billy Gibbons (ZZ TOP), Stevie Ray Vaughan and many others.
And dimebag
In my humble opinion E.J is the greatest guitarist ever. His speed and accuracy are phenomenal. But for me, the first minute or two of those clean gorgeous chord progressions and that amazing effect, that is something that I could listen to for hours. Soo smooth and mellow that he could literally put me to sleep.
The amount of melody makes it a perfection
SRV is better... and Eric Gales is better, and some may argue Satriani (or Petrucci) is better. but better does not mean a better composer.. and that is why Eric is awesome, he is a technical genius but yet has such feel and soul... and has written better songs than any other "guitar god" outside of Ty Tabor imo
@@davidkoblentz Ty is so overlooked, as is King’s X
That would be a big YEP!
He’s certainly not the best. But he’s great and probably deserves to be on everyone’s top 10 list.
My opinion... there's no one any better than EJ. I loved this the first time I heard it. I have it set as my ringtone on my phone. Absolutely THE BEST EVER!
Pretty jacket you're wearing. Such a wonderful song from a great, humble guy! You know, I could play like that, but I decided to hang on o my soul, loli😊
He is one of the Texas guitar heros👌🏼🔥
Desert Rose is beautiful!
I could watch you watch Eric Johnson over and over again. It’s like seeing a mother see her child for the first time
This girl looks like a 1960s movie star...😮
Desert Rose, High Landrons and 40 Mile Town are all great tracks from this album where Eric sings. Trademark is another great instrumental. Great road-trip/ driving music.
He's the best. Total guitar and tone.
This is what he does. I've never heard him sing (but he probably does once in awhile) He's a Guitar virtuoso, a super-brilliant instrumentalist. I loved it. Thank you Rebeka🌺
"Desert Rose" is a good showcase of him singing.
I saw him live in Memphis, TN....it was heaven!
"Emerald Eyes"...his voice on this is so soothing and compliments the music so well.
Calm down man lol
Eric sings very well, check out "Desert Rose" off the same album.
To me Eric is the best electric guitarist that ever lived.
EJ one of my all time favorite guitarist. Check out Desert Rose and 40 Miles Town if you want to hear his vocal.
He does sing on a song "Desert Rose". You might also check out "Trademark" next from EJ. You might also venture into Joe Satriani with "Summer Song"
Take another vote for Desert Rose, along with When the Sun Meets the Sky.
I grew up in Austin & Eric was a big deal, but a perfectionist. It took years between albums & the radio djs would & the Austin Chronicle would give him grief about it.
Same here. Got to see him live in Austin because a good friend of mine played on stage with him and he got us tickets for that show. Fantastic talent!
@@brianwest6341 I got to Eric at the Austin Opera House once, so good.
His best songs in which he sings : Lonely in the night / When the sun meets the sky / Desert rose
I live in Austin and have seen him many times. Few people know that he played guitar for Christopher Cross on his debut album. A very nice chill tune with vocals would be Forty Mile Town. Another great instrumental would be Trademark. Oh, and East Wes is his most beautiful instrumental.
Desert Rose is favorite songs where he sings. But, there’s some others that are great.
Both you and Eric have amazing hairs lmao
Thumbs just for checking out this awsome guitar insturmental!
The fret work mesmerising to watch could not take my eyes off watching . Great honest reaction as always
✨Thank You✨
Thank you for not stopping and just go with it. I really enjoy watching you enjoying it.
A must have Album!
Eric Johnson ..Are You Experienced same show live at Austin City Limits,,,He does sing
He sings in Lonely in the Night from a later album which is great.
wow..never heard of him before, or this....thank you, loved it:)
✨Thank You✨
Another song is desert rose in the same concert and trail of tears also
Check out Manhattan by Eric Johnson, so jazzy, great tune!
The guitar solo was amazing.
Which one? Lol
Eric Johnson song High Landrums vocals included !!
Very nice. Eric Johnson is great as well.
My favorite song of Eric Johnson is “Trademark.”
Guitar Hero III introduced me to this gem.
From Austin with love.
Desert rose by Eric, he sings
Desert rose he sings, my favorite!!
Desert Rose from the same performance!
Another strings magician, from the same state of Stevie Ray Vaughan.
I remember when he toured with the G-3, along with Joe Satriani and Steve Vai.
Great choice, Becks.
They’re touring againz
Satch posted dates for the upcoming tour just the other day. Some, if not all, next year.
✨Thank you.✨
Eric will always be my favorite!
Great to see your reaction to Eric!! This was recorded in 1989 for the Austin City Limits music show, now the longest running music show in American television history. Living in Austin, Eric's hometown, I've been fortunate to see him many times over the years, and getting ready to see him again this April. If you want to hear a combination of him singing with amazing guitar solos, I recommend the studio version of "Desert Rose"!!!
✨Thank you.✨
40 Mile town is probably one of his best vocals, along with Bristol Shore. . . . Oh yeah, and I almost forgot my top 3 vocal tune, Trail of Tears. Voice and guitar is amazing.
This song is like a dream....
Try Trail of Tears, or Desert Rose
High Landrons" !
He’s bloody brilliant… that is all.
He was n a band called The Electromagnets. Amazing, quintessential 70’s rock. Have a listen!!
Nice choice of music, by the way you look fabulous as always.
✨Thank You✨
Merry Christmas
Trail of Tears from the same concert
Great song choice to react Rebeka
✨Thank You✨
Another Eric for ya to try Eric Gales Voodoo child , Beethoven LZ AC/DC etc Live. Outstanding the way he slides from song to song without a break Please with sugar icing on top
Chose to hang onto my soul, lol.
He should have named this song "magic carpet ride" because that's what it feels like
Please try Friends off his first album
Desert Rose
this is so off topic but you literally looks like reneé rapp, you're beautiful 😭😭
Obligatory...I saw him front row in Memphis and Little Rock. It's a great memory
♥️♥️💯
Maybe it's just me but I feel like just in that intro, when Eric is sort of adlibbing he's already telling a story. You can feel the breezie, you can imagine the view, standing there on the clifffs. There's maybe some seaguls playing in the wind. And you're standing there, looking out onto the sea. Anyway, thanks for sharing the reaction! Love this song in case it wasn't obvious.
✨Thank you.✨
I love all is songs but Desert Rose sends mysoul some other place.
if you want to hear him sing check out "friends" or "bristol shore"
from tones lp and is amazing.
Im seeing in a few months
Have you watched the full Austin City Limits concert from which this song was performed at? If not,it's a concert to be watched and heard!
Vamos Argentina 🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷 @Messi !!👏👏
I lived in Austin, Texas, where Mr. Eric Johnson is from, and I think it's just different for those of us who recognize the University of Texas Tower in the background. Mr. Johnson is a guitar genius, and a Texas, American, and world treasure. God bless him.
Keep dancing baby
I love you so much have you very beautiful am big fine you
He used to be Carole Kings Guitar player
Maybe try something completely different, try the Wagaki Band, they have been reacted to a few times but they are different and very good
Please react to Mike Oldfield!!
Do Trail of Tears live by him…… he sings
Eric Johnson is so underrated
By whom????
would love to see you enjooy Eddie Van Halens solo for Live without a Net
Th g uitar does the singing. He's an instrumentalist. When you're that good, you don't need to sing
Some reaction, you are just blankly staring at the screen.
Eric is a great guitarist and this is one of his signature songs. Since you liked this Rebeka check out the following.

He’s not a singer. He a guitar god
Hello Rebeka you look nice
Eric doesn't sing. He's a guitarist, one of the best.
HA!, HA!......She would have his baby in a nano second........ _and_ pay for all the medical costs! LOL!
You won't hear him sing much. He made a conscious decision to build his hands not his voice box a long time ago. You'll find him singing here and there but really , the truth is, he sings through his fingers.
You've reacted to SRV and Eric Johnson so I can't help but ask that you react to Eddie Van Halen playing Eruption. 🙂🙏
She’s not ready to react to thirteen minutes of guitar wizardry by the Legendary EVH
God your gorgeous
I'm gonna make videos of people who know f*ck all about music reacting to music videos. Reckon I'm on to a winner!
Do YOU want to be in My Band!!!!!
I don't like the bangs. I don't like this recent flannel and hoodie look. What have you done with Rebeka and when is she coming back?
She is right in front of you and never left. Beautiful ALWAYS!!
@@davidboivin7996 Will you ever grow out of your simp phase? What are you? 50 now?
